I am usually a size 10 in dresses, and I wore a 10..i but with a price. The bodice was very tight, making it hard for me to take deep breaths throughout the night. Why did I choose to suffer, you may ask? Because I didn't like the fit of the 12; it was too large in the bodice, and because of this, the side not supported by the strap hung strangely. That being said, the fabric flowing over the bodice did hide the strain of the fabric, and I loved the skirt. It was very forgiving for my lower belly.

I am usually a size ten, but because of the other reviews, I decided to get my free size in a 12R. And boy, was I glad I did. The 10R zipped and gave me a tiny little waist (which I of course loved), but the stiffness of the bodice made it very difficult for me to breathe... so I reluctantly decided to go with the 12R. It was a little bit baggy in the bodice, which I didn't love, but I was able to eat ALL of the buffet food without any issue. There is a silver lining for ya. Plus, if you are insecure about your lower belly like I am, this dress is very comfortable. Sizing aside, I LOVED the movement of this gown, and it was very comfortable for me to dance in. Also, I wasn't insecure about my underarm flabbiness, which wasn't too pronounced in this one-shoulder gown. The color was wonderful as well.

I am usually a size 10 in dresses, and because of the other reviews, I ordered a size down. I ended up wearing the size eight with plenty of room to spare around my ribcage. Even though the dress was still a little roomy around the waist, the weight of the sequins helped disguise this, and I was able to eat to my heart's content! I really enjoyed this dress, and I am considering renting the green version for a holiday party this year. I might test out the size 6 just to see how tight I can get it to fit...

This dress was very comfortable and looked beautiful. The fabric at the bodice was thick enough that I got away with not wearing a bra, and the skirt flowed over my lower belly, which is my biggest insecurity. I will say that I wish I didn't get the long size; even at 5'7 with 4-inch heels, it was too long for me.
