This dress is made for tall persons. The proportions will be off in the torso, waist, bust, and length if you are petite. Dress will be great for tall people.

The coat is beautiful. If you are a petite person (short torso, short arms, etc) the small will most likely not work for you. I had to roll up the sleeves about three rolls up. The jacket is boxy so this won't help us petites either. The coat did not close properly because it's much too boxy for my frame. I felt like I was playing dress up in my mom's clothes. The small was too big for a petite person.

Fit is excellent for petites. Finally a pant I can wear without having to roll up the bottoms or wear extremely high heels. Color is flattering. I paired it with a black top and black jacket. I felt very Parisian.

This suit jacket is boxy. Order a size down unless you are going for the very oversized jacket look. The oversized jacket will not be a good fit for petites. The proportions are off. The jacket is made for tall, not short/petite, people. However, the pants to this suit will work for petites (because it's a slim or slender fit). :)
