Cinched waist and gorgeous fabric!
The dress fit like a dream. I'm 5'6" and it was a touch long so I paired it with strappy sandals with a tiny block heel to avoid tripping over myself. I received compliments all day long.

Beautiful pattern but rides up...
The fabric is beautiful but this skirt is nothing out of the ordinary. The cut is not the most flattering and it rides up very high on the leg where you could potentially be exposed when you're sitting.

So flattering and gorgeous silk!
Like all Nicholas dresses, this dress is of SUPERB quality. The fabric is absolutely stunning and the details are beautiful. On top of everything, it is SO comfortable while remaining so flattering to the waist, arms, chest and derriere....I mean...what more could you ask for? RENT THIS!

Absolutely stunning dress. Ran a tiny bit large...I think a 0 would be a better fit at the waist for me. I actually found this online and purchased it in a 0 :)

So beautiful but SO narrow at the hips!
As for all Nicholas dresses, this dress was of impeccable quality and design. However, if you have wider hips and a larger bum like I do, this will not work for you unless you are proportionately larger everywhere else. I am an hourglass shape with a small waist and upper body but have wider set hips and a larger rear-end. This fabric has NO stretch whatsoever and while I am 100% confident it would have fit perfectly up top, it would not accommodate my hips. I'd re-order in a 4R but I know that it would be too large up top. If you are a bit more narrow, GO FOR IT!
