Loved the dress, didn't come with a belt which was sad but I liked the one I used. Paired well with a chunky necklace. I am 5'10", 150 lbs, small bust, pear shaped. I typically wear a size 6. In this picture I am wearing the 40L with 3 in wedge heels. If I had wanted to wear flats, I would have been tripping on the skirt. My backup size was a 42 regular length, and it was a tent- I would have drowned in it. I got lots of complements and felt very pretty and flowey. I loved that I could wear a normal bra with it (with a little bit of tape to hold the straps in place). Overall a great dress!

The dress is definitely long so unless you're really tall go with the petit or plan on wearing high heels. This would be a perfect dress for the beach- so flowy and beautiful!

The material was luxurious! dress runs a bit big and is quite long so I would advice to get high heels!  I rented the necklace that was on the model and it contrasted wonderfully with the femininity of the dress!  No strapless bra necessary, so that's always a plus.  

This was a back up dress that I decided to wear to a wine tasting getaway in Napa. I absolutely loved it. You could definitely dress it up with fancy heels and jewelry, but I opted to wear it more casual with some sandals. The material was light and breezy and felt substantial, totally didn't feel cheap. It was really soft and super comfortable. The way the slits are cut gives it a ethereal feeling and it flows so nicely when you're walking. The colors are perfect for spring and summer. Like I said, I wish I could keep this dress!

Love this maxi! I rented the 42 and 44, and ended up wearing the 42. I think it runs a little big but it's meant to be a looser fit. Mine did not come
With the sash belt pictured so I added a black elastic belt to define my waist. The slits on each side are very unique, move with you as you walk and flare out. A cool, ethereal fairy effect! I am 5'8" and wore w 3 inch pumps and the dress was a perfect length... If you plan on wearing flats w this dress, and you're around my height I would def order the Regular length. Fabric was slinky and smooth! Love and would def rent again. 

I actually ordered a completely different dress and RTR told me LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE the delivery date that it was damaged. They sent me this dress, one that I had not picked out or seen before, but I ended up receiving so many compliments and standing out! 

Wore to a wedding at 35 weeks pregnant and got TONS of compliments on both the dress and the necklace. The slits on the side were nice to keep things cool and breezy.  It did run very long - I'm 5'4" and wore 4" heels all night and was still stepping on the dress (I got the regular length). The bottom also appeared un-hemmed/unfinished, which was strange - seemed like it should have been an inch shorter and have had a folded and hemmed finish.

This maxi is absolutely gorgeous. The watercolor hues are amazing for an outdoor event. Size down if you are smaller up top!

Everyone loved this dress!! Easy to wear and flowy, comfortable, chic. Wore it out in Denver, CO and couldn't have asked for a better dress for the event! 

My BF selected this dress - at first I thought it was going to be a bit bland from the pictures, but it's truly stunning in person. It does run large and mine did not come with a belt. I ended up using a belt I had brought on the trip & blousing the dress over... it actually took up a bit of the length which was great for an outdoor wedding. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I loved this dress. It was a really great first dress to get from rent the runway. The fabric was like a heavy silk, and it moved beautifully. It flowed in the breeze (dramatically) when I gave my reading at the wedding. I only didn't give it 5 stars because even though I'm normally an 8, the 6 was too big for me (gaped around the bust), and I should have gotten a 4. But the natural flow of the dress made it look fine. Also it is VERY long, so if your short wear big heels or choose something else. Still a stunning dress that I was sad to return! Thank you RTR

This was my first RTR. The dress is great - very lightweight and comfortable. Perfect for an LA heat wave. It is a little sheer. It's very versatile and easy to style many different ways. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the dress arrived VERY wrinkled. It took me 45 minutes to iron. 

This is a beautiful dress, overall, but runs very large!  Would recommend sizing down 1 or 2 sizes smaller than normal.  This was a dress that I picked in a hurry because RTR emailed me the day before my shipment to let me know that one of the sizes of the original dress I had ordered was not available to be shipped.  I ordered the size 4L, as I am usually a size 4, but it was way too large. The 0 probably would have been the best size. There was a lot of extra fabric up top, and I ended up having to use fabric tape down the back to make it seem smaller.  The ruffles on the side would not lay flat, which also added to the illusion that the dress was "poofing" out.

 Great length for tall women- I did not find that it was too long, like some other reviews have shared.  This was, sadly, my first ever disappointment with RTR- but I do think in the right size, I would have been extremely happy with this dress! 

Love this dress - but definitely wear a slip or something underneath because if its windy the slits etc make it fly right up!

Lovely dress, beautiful material and right on appropriate for a sumer evening wedding. I am 5'10" and 135lbs (long and lean). The dress fit fine through the bust, it was flowy from there down.  The challenge for me was it was too long and I had to tie the side ends together to stop if from dragging on the ground.  In general I prefer things a little more fitted and this worked well.

I rented this for the brunch following the wedding I attended in Ojai. It ended up being something I could have worn to the actual wedding itself, but I ended up going with my first choice. The length was amazing. I could have easily worn heels and dressed this up with some statement jewelry for a dressy occasion, but I ended up wearing flats, a white panama hat and no jewelry for more of a relaxed Sunday look. 

The only thing I will caution others on is that this dress runs sliiiiiightly snug on the chest. I wore a swimsuit underneath and was fine, but a regular bra would not have cut it. 

If there is any wind, please be aware of the high hems on the side of the dress There really is a wonderful flow about it, but one swift breeze can blow that dress up Marilyn style in a jiffy!

Definitely wear a nude slip, the material is sheer. The sash was missing from my order, luckily I did in-store pickup, so I was given a replacement. The dress would have been unflattering without the sash. 
Overall beautiful textile that was perfect for an early evening summer wedding. 

My first choice size was unavailable and I ended up wearing my backup dress based on fit alone but I tried on my backup size of this dress and I would definitely rent it again for another event (if my size pops up again). The dress is very lightweight, the colors are vibrant. 

The dress itself is very pretty but the 8R was too long (even with high heels) I had a small dress trail, which would not be safe for a wedding with kids and a lot of dancing!

Love this dress.  Very flowy and comfortable particularly for an outdoor event.  I did wear it with a belt though because I felt like it had no shape without it.  The belt is a fun touch and a way to add a pop of color anyway.

Very long even though I wore 3 inch wedges. I tried a bigger version in the RTR Chicago location, however the stylist recommended this style because it would have come with a belt and I could have played with the length as this dress does not come in petite and I'm short. I wore the dress and it was beautiful, however it did not come with a belt. This is the 2nd time a dress was sent to me missing an important part of it eg. A button or in this case a belt. Attention to detail is a bit lacking. I'm planning to rent another dress next month so hopefully it will work out. RTR concept is wonderful, but if they are not on key, what's the point of renting an amazing dress if I can't wear it because of a wardrobe malfunction? 

This is one of the least flattering pieces of clothing I've ever put on. The skirt gets its volume from extra wide panels that flare out below the hips. If you have an hourglass figure to start with, it's horribly unflattering. I should never have ordered this dress for that reason. It also looks surprisingly cheap for a $1000 dress, and the long size didn't even hit my ankles. I'm 6' tall, but considering every review I read suggested that this dress had so much extra length, I was surprised at how poorly it fit me. Huge miss here. I'm not sure what body type this would work for, but it definitely isn't for people who aren't looking to add tons of volume to their hips. 

This dress runs very large and is rather sheer. Additionally, it did not come with the belt pictured. I had to return the dress unworn and would not recommend selecting this dress, even though it looks so pretty.
