Definitely one of the most luxurious and premium-quality pieces I've ever tried!  The look actually walked on the runway as part of the designer's spring 2015 collection.  I was slightly worried about the beige color washing me out, but it turned out being very flattering for my skin tone.  The beige fabric has a subtle sheen to it - so beautiful under dimmed light.  I adore the hand pleats on the side too!  The only thing to keep in mind about this style is that it runs small as most Italian brands.  It also comes in a half slip that's a bit small.  If you have a hourglass shape, I recommend going 2 sizes up.  An all around 5-STAR gown! 

very specific fit. i have a small rib cage so the 4 was ok but slightly large. i was informed it ran very small so i opted for the 6 instead of 2 alternate size. the only downside was the material at the bust which did not sit perfectly, as the dress is multi layered; likely because i have more bust than it was cut for but i made it work with no bra. overall the look was exactly what i wanted for our dreamy engagement pix! 

I loved the fit and fabric of the dress but it wasn't the look I was going for for my event so I didn't wear it.  It's pretty long and can be difficult to walk around in if you're petite like me. However, I would definitely rent this for a future wedding and try to make it work.

It's when you wear a garment like this that you realise why high end designers can cost so much. 

The tailoring was unbelievable, so complex but so simple. Each fold of fabric was draped just so, and the internal boning provides just enough structure.

I wore this to an Oscars party and felt like a goddess.
