This dress fit perfectly! I loved it because it looked like a dress Kate Middleton would wear haha! The emerald green color is gorgeous. The 38 was a little tight in the bust area because there isn't much stretch in the fabric but it was slimmer in my hips in thighs than the 40 was so I decided to stick with the 38. I would definitely recommend this dress and would rent it again in the future. 

My husband loved the dress and I got so many compliments on it throughout the night.  It does run a bit small in the hip area, but with spanx it was a perfect fit. Love this dress!

I loved this dress! Such a gorgeous color and VERY high quality fabric/well made. I have a bigger butt, so I ordered a size up from my normal and was very happy I did bc it was still snug. It is an amazing dress that I would absolutely rent again. I rented with the Oscar de la Renta Moderne Emerald earrings and it looked great!!

I needed a dress that I could wear to work and then to an event (which happened to be a Rent The Runway party!). It was slightly fancy for work, but it really did the job. It is quite elegant and sophisticated; I received compliments all day long. I wouldn't call it tight, but rather a bit snug in the hip area. I wouldn't recommend it if you're self conscious about your tummy region due to said "snugness"  Because of it's color,  I can see it being a great holiday time dress. I really loved it!

Hi Nora! I would suggest wearing this dress with black or nude pumps! Neither of those options will look corporate!

This such a unique and fashionable style. The accentuated shoulders really take this dress to the next level. It runs slightly narrow throughout the hips, but nothing SPANX can't help with. This so perfect for a chic a super chic event! 

The dress ran a bit small and unfortunately I couldn't wear the backup size because the hem on the 42 was damaged.  In any event, it was the perfect look for the conservative cocktail party/fundraiser that I attended. 

Beautiful green color, was so happy with the fit and style. I am normally a size 6 and when I placed the order, only the size 44 (8) was left. I am so glad I ordered one size up! The 8 was even a little tight but I was still very happy. Thanks!

This dress has by far been one of my all time favorites.  It fit like a glove and it was so comfortable to wear in a cold office during the day yet cool enough to wear walking a block in the summer heat to grab a cocktail.  I received many compliments on this dress and I felt amazing in it!

It´s a dress to impress, its has a nice satin detail in the waist, back and underarm that lifts the elegance of the dress. It shapes very well, its true to size, but not a good dress if you want to eat at the party jajaja...

the material and color was elegant and the dress looked beautiful. Runs a bit small. I normally fit 38 with a little room however this dress it was snug around the waist area. 

Fits like a glove! I wore this for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was perfect.  I didn't really get a good picture and it doesn't do it justice. It fits true to its size, form fitting, but still comfortable. I would buy this dress if I had the chance!

Gorgeous, classy dress.  The material is thick, perfect for a fall or winter event.  I tend to be cold indoors so this dress was the perfect weight but if you tend to be warm this dress might make you sweat.  The color is rich and the cut is very flattering, I loved this dress!


This dress is definitely a one of a kind. The color is stunning and the cut seems very haute couture.  I rented for a trip to Paris and it was absolutely perfect.

I didn't actually get to wear this dress but I tried it on in the show room and I loved everything about it. It covers everything but is still very sexy because of the fit, it hit me in all the right places and showed off my curves. The color is gorgeous and perfect for a Fall or Winter event.

Dress was too tight. I only had the size 6, and thank god it was my back up dress. Would have loved to wear it, but it was too tight across my belly to feel comfortable--the fabric shows EVERYTHING. While I could easily zip it, the chest was tight, so the fabric pulled up and across my stomach, which just made me too self conscious. Great green color, beautiful for a winter ready. Just size up in your back up size! I would try this one again, despite the size problem, as it is just so pretty.

It's a great dress, IF you have the right body for it. I so wanted to love this dress, but the 38 was way too tight and the 40 was okay, but a little loose around the shoulders/back area. The waist also hit me a little higher than I'd like - not at all flattering on my shape (I'm fairly straight and narrow). This would probably look great on someone with a little more curves. The dress was also a lot darker in person than I would have thought from the photo, more of a deep green. I ended up not wearing the dress.

First the positives:  beautiful green color, solid construction and heavy, dense fabric that's perfect for cold weather.

The negatives:  Runs small:  The size 0 fit extremely snugly - I could zip it, but was afraid to try sitting or eating. This was my backup dress and ended up being returned along with the first choices when neither of those fit either. (bad RTR day for me!)

The biggest issue with this dress, however, is the bulkiness of the shoulder/neckline area.  You can't see it on the model, or at least I couldn't, but I looked like I was wearing extremely unflattering shoulder pads (1980s or football-uniform-inspired!).  If you're small enough in the waist to fit in the dress comfortably, you probably won't want your upper torso to look as hefty as it does.
