I sized up based on other reviews. The dress fit EXCEPT there was so much room in the belly area. I tried to fix it with the bangle + hair tie trick to tighten it but it scrunched up in a strange way. Beautiful fabric, I would try a smaller size if I gave it another chance. 

Runs very small. I typically wear a size 2 or 4 and in this dress I wore a 10. However, once the size was right, I loved this dress! It is one of my favorite rentals. It was comfortable. The fabric felt high-end. The color was vibrant and I got tons of compliments.

Normally a 2 in dresses (US) but sized up to an 8 based on reviews and the fit was perfection. The attire request was "colorful, avant-garde, Met Gala" and this dress snatched me up and left me feeling beautiful. A must!

It fit but just a little tight around the waist.  Its not noticeable in the picture. 

It's so flattering and the color is amazing. The material is light weight yet not too sheer

Initially, I planned to wear this to the rehearsal dinner for my mothers wedding. Although, on the day of expected delivery for my dresses- I was notified via email that the dress I picked out for the wedding was unavailable to ship. what a nightmare. This dress was absolutely lovely. I will dream about wearing something of this exquisite quality again- the seams were genius, the fit was flattering, the fabric was luxurious. If you do rent- just beware that you may not receive the order and will have to last minute make accommodations. Seriously, though, this dress is to.die.for.

Random people were coming up to me complimenting me. Visibly a very high quality dress. Very flattering 

This is not the best photo, but take my word for it: this dress is SO incredibly flattering and unique! I wore it for a wedding in October, so I was a bit chilly with the light canvas-y material, but it definitely passed the dance test! The green was vibrant but not obnoxious and  it hugged me in all the right places while still being very demure. 

I had to wear sticky boobs because you would have seen a regular bra through the sleeves/slides.

When I first tried this on I thought it was nothing special. But then I noticed how it snatched my waist, hit my calf at a flattering length, and was just the most exceptional shade of green. I got lots of compliments while attending a wedding at a vineyard! I felt beautiful and age appropriate.

I wasn’t sure about the split sleeves as that isn’t always my favorite look and I thought it was very charming. 

This dress is fabric was absolutely beautiful, so much prettier in person. The color stood out and it fit like a glove.
I would totally rent this dress again and again 

This dress is unique and lovely. The color is brighter than it looked online. I received a ton of compliments. I wore a sticky bra because otherwise the bra could be seen from the side.

This dress was fun, and I got tons of compliments while wearing it. I will say, the fabric is very…interesting. It reminded me of a softer canvas type of material. It wasn’t rough or hard, but it wasn’t necessarily soft either. Overall, fun dress, just not sure I’d rent again.

It fits like a glove, color is rich, does wrinkle and crease easily so not good if you plan to sit. VB apparel is cut narrow if you haven’t worn items in her clothing line.

This dress was superb, I wore it to a charity gala and was comfortable all evening. The dress is uniquely cut and I wasn’t sure about sizing but glad I took a chance. For reference, I am 5’3” with an hourglass figure of 34D, 26” waist, and 38” hip. This snatched my waist and made me feel so confident. The sleeves were the only strange part, but I just moved the flaps opened in the front to show my arms more and they stayed like that all night since the fabric has structure. Loved the seam details throughout too. Overall just a great dress that feels very expensive but is understated for many different types of occasions. Highly recommend renting!
