This dress seems to run small - I ended up wearing my backup (larger) size.  Very comfortable material. Had to wear a strapless bra because the straps come in close to the neck. 

Fits true to size and was adorable.  I wore the 42, which fit better than the 44.  Also the 44 was a bit wrinkled.  Still, I thought it was a great dress!

This is a great party dress that works in any environment. It's fitted but he material is so thick it doesn't betray you. I recommend it 

Wore this to a dressy-casual High School Reunion. I was sort of expecting a black dress to arrive, based on the model's picture, but like the other reviews and pictures noted, it is a deep eggplant color. Also, like another reviewer, the collar area sort of chokes you when you bend over or lean over and the mid-section area is a little wrinkly (unsmooth). Overall, though, the dress fit well and I got so many compliments from men and women alike. I probably won't rent the dress again, but had a good experience with RTR and will rent another next weekend for another event!

The color is a deep eggplant with the magenta accents. I loved the coverage, while still being edgy. 

Pros: I didn't have to wear a bra, the dress hugged the body with the stretchy material, the zippers actual moved a little so you can get a little extra or a little less give in chest and waist, and it's fully lined.

Cons: It did have wrinkles in the magenta portions when I received the dress, it does wrinkle around the waist and hips after you sit or drive, and the lining was wrinkled as well.

The dress was easy to dance in! 

I'd recommend ordering your true size and also 1-size larger as your backup because chest, waist and hips like a curvy fit...but some may prefer more room to breath in one of these three areas.

As previously noted, the dress is plum! High quality material with little-to-no stretch. The dress is very unique and comfortable. Styled with the gold cuff shown in the picture and gold shoes, it's a fun but sophisticated look. 

Unfortunately, it was VERY wrinkled upon arrival and required ironing despite hanging out of the box for 24 hours. It was subsequently wrinkled after a 10-minute cab ride. Additionally, there is a lot of room around the mid-section which caused some bunching and wrinkling across the front. However, if you're in need of something w/a little more room in that area then it's a good choice.


The dress fits fairly tight. Its true to size but on the smaller end. If you are a well endowed in the chest area you might have some trouble. However fits well on a curvier waist/bum. My only complaint is that the high neck is very tight so it you bend over or squat it chokes you a bit. Also its longer than it appears in the photo (thanks to the models leggy legs). It came to my knees so its not quite as short as I expected. Still, a very stylish and unique dress perfect for making an impression!

Very different, very cool, very flattering. Keep in mind it's deep purple, not black. But still very gorgeous and awesome and I loved it. 

It fits snuggle grabbing ever curve and makes you look beautiful and feel like a million bucks

Fit is great! But, not forgiving at all. If you normally wear spanks, make sure to size up. Overall, it was beautiful and comfortable to dance it 

The only con I had was that the color is really purple but the website it looks black.

This dress fit well but ran a small compared to most dresses I rent. This dress was fun and playful for the NYE party I attended. 

This was my first choice but I ended up wearing my back up dress.  The dress is great, I just am too short for the length.  Good color, I didn't realize it was purple and pink.  I thought it was black and pink.  The colors were very pretty.  Runs a little small.  I tried on the 40 and could have gone with one size smaller.  Great for people with long legs or at least 5'6".  Was wrinkled but not too bad.  

This was my back up.  I didn't wear it and didn't find the dress very flattering.  The material a bit thin.  

I really loved the dress on the model I usually am a 4 or 6 the size 4 equivalent was way too small.  I liked the design but my husband thought it had more of an 80s retro vibe and wasn't thrilled about the design.  I think maybe in the larger size it would have looked better.

Never wore it for an event. It was my back up, pretty plum color. Best on less curvy body type.
