Such a unique top that goes with everything!
Love the texture of this top which at first glance feels summery but it layers very nicely for colder months - it’s a great neutral ivory and the material is crisp cotton (not scratchy at all) I wore it as a casual layer but it could be easily dressed up
Rented for a second time. Very comfortable. A bit cropped but I had just the right amount of pant-shirt overlap with high waist jeans
Love how structured it is. I can see how it may not work on some body types, but was great for me.
I love this shirt and can’t wait to wear it!! It fits perfectly but just barely. If it was any tighter, there would be gapping in the chest.
Absolutely loved this one! Perfect white top with a twist, both interesting and flattering. Will be renting again!
I really love Veronica beard and this I love too but I think it photographs a little boxy. Fit with a bralette under it.
Top is structured and a bit stretchy at the same time. TTS but fits close to the body. Love a top with a collar! It’s a soft white tone and will go with lots of things. Would rent again.
Runs small especially if you are large in the bust. Really nice classy and different top. Material was a little different but still comfortable. I would have worn more if it fit me a little larger.
Like other reviews have said, the blouse does seem to be a little stiff around the shoulders and may feel like an odd fit for some. But I honestly loved the look and didn’t mind the slightly different feel to it. It looked super cute with both dressy black pants and even casual cargo pants.
Stiff, structured shirt. I don’t like the collared look as much on me. $400 is way too expensive for it though
I wore it to work, but it was not a particularly flattering look. They all cotton material was comfortable though. Maybe if I had ordered a size bigger it would’ve worked better.
The fabric is not soft, but it's not itchy and holds its shape well. I love the length of the sleeves, and the structure of the blouse makes it dressier. There was a pull between the buttons over my chest, and the shoulder seam was closer to my neck than my shoulder. It's sort of cropped, but I got used to it riding up on my stomach. (I wore high-waisted pants.) I probably should have sized up, but then I think the shirt might end up looking too boxy.
Reviews of this showed true to size, but I found it to be too tight. If I didn’t move just right, the buttons split in the front.
The smocking makes the shirt a bit stiff -- not uncomfortable but in a way that causes it to ride up when you lift your arms, even under a blazer. Maybe sizing down might have solved that issue? I think that I could have sized down in this piece, but in my experience Veronica Beard usually runs on the smaller side, so I'm not sure. It is totally adorable, though, and I have worn it a few times, because, as I said, it's not an uncomfortable fit, just a slightly weird one.
I'm tall, so it falls right at my waist. This shirt fit perfectly with another RTR skirt (seen here), and "mom" jeans. Compliments both times I wore it. Undo a button or two to make it a little more fun! I didn't do that and wish I had after seeing other pictures.
I’m so glad I rented this top. It was easy to wear. It paired really well with blue jeans. It also fits petites well as it is slightly cropped.
Great top, crisp collar and can be dressed down for everyday. Needed to tape between the buttons to keep the shirt from gaping
Loved the look of this structured blouse; the scrunching is a bit 'scratchy' - but it's still a lovely look.
Very cool and fun to wear. Interesting and unusual fabric. Highly recommend. Hugs your body in a flattering way.
Dress it up or dress it down - this top is very nice. The pucker effect is very in right now and it looks great on. I like that it is fitted and cropped but not too short. Didn't need to tuck it and it fit just at the waist for me. Love the starched flat pointed collar and the cream color. Lots of compliments!
Great fit!
This is an adorable top. I wore it with a jeans skirt and got compliments. Just be aware that where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve, it’s quite pointy. The overall effect is puffy shoulder. It not a bad look but not obvious on the model.
Can be worn casually and for work- super cute and perfect fit
Felt really put together in this postpartum. It hugged me but the ruching made it super flattering and made any outfit look put together
Very structured and stiff so the shoulders would rise up a lot
Overall Fit
Just right
I usually can't get things small enough on top, but this top was too short for an adult to wear without an undergarment. Also, it is full of tiny pleats that scratch and ride up, bunching around the shoulders, so all in all not a win.
Overall Fit
Runs small

Runs small
Length
Too short
I like the look of this one but it was really thick and stiff with all the ruching so it wouor almost slide up all as one unit above my shoulders
Overall Fit
Just right
Fabric tends to ride or bunch up your back and between the shoulders, had to keep pulling it down
A little short waisted
Very cute top. I’m small chested so didn’t have problems gaping. However, it did ride up every time I moved my arms.
Great shirt for everyday and work
I got the XL thinking because it stretches it would be fine, but it really isn't great if you're above a DD cup.
