I’m a 0 and fit into 25 pants. I ordered this in a 0 and it was laughable. I order up to a 2, and if that wasn’t enough. I’m moderately athletic, but apparently to this brand I have too big of a butt. lol! The dress at the bottom is very constricting. Walking up stairs and getting into a low car is very restricting.

This one toed the line for me of work appropriate because of how short it felt to me with the slit. However, I err on the side of safe at work. That said, it clearly is at knee length and the slit isn’t too extreme. I paired it with a hack to uncover my arms. That said, it was so flattering and felt super confident most of the day in this. The material felt great and didn’t require ironing with the combination of the draping and stretch material of the fabric. Highly recommend! 

I loved everything about this dress! I was a little worried about the buttons on top because I am busty, but it worked perfectly. The color was great and I love the asymmetric skirt.

Fit better than expected — really enjoyed this one! 

It's a really cute dress and would be great for a daytime event but it just didn't look amazing. I also feel like it made my body look a bit "blocky" so I tried it on with a belt. My belt was too big for wear it needed to sit on my waist, so I ended up not wearing the dress. Also, the skirt was tight and I wondered that if I ate or drank anything, the buttons would start popping off. 

If you are slim this may work but if you’re curvy in the hips you will have trouble buttoning the bottom buttons and be afraid to sit down 😬 

I wore for work, it fit me literally perfect but there is no give to material so keep it in mind for sizing. 

I loved this dress. It hugged my curves but was still very appropriate for work. I like the fact that the front buttons are off-center because it makes the dress unique and interesting.

Usually a 12, couldn’t get this over my hips in a size 12. See my review of the size 16.

I sized up per the comments and this dress was very fitted (with limited stretch) across my hips.  Walking was also a bit difficult so more of a standing dress. 

No stretch to the garment, the middle portion zippers and the top half is button to adjust cleavage. Wore with a blazer and grey pumps! Fabric is thick and great quality. May need to iron- tends to wrinkle

This dress was a great for a business dinner, but as some of the other reviews stated, the buttons tend to slip open. Maybe they’re too small for the button holes? It’s a snug fit and not the most comfortable, but cute for an event. 

I sized up to a 6 as this brand runs small. It fit perfectly but needed a steam/iron on the sleeves. Great for a wedding shower.

The fit was perfect. The colors were perfect. Fabric was lighter than I anticipated but it hugged in all the right places. I wish I bought!!

The tightness of this dress is proof of the quality of the construction! I hadn’t ever rented a VB dress, and I learned that I probably need a 2 based on my curvy lower body. Still a great dress!

Great dress! Longer on petites which makes it a bit more constricting too move around in. Loved the colors! 

Didn’t end up wearing for quality reasons but I thought this was a cute dress. As others have said, it fits very snug through the hips and is hard to walk in (I can see how the person who wore this before me popped the button just above the knee). The rest of the dress has some stretch as the material is thin and not stiff.

I barely squeezed into this adorable dress. I could have gone up 2 or even 3 sizes! The slit is pretty short so I probably wouldn’t have worn this to work even if it had been a proper fit.

Wore this same style in black and the fit was fine, but in this fabric, I just couldn’t make it work. My usual size (4) would barely close around the upper legs/booty area but fit well everywhere else (abdomen, chest). Rented this six and it was still tight around butt/thighs - though I got it on, felt like I could barely walk and the buttons were about to burst while sitting. Meanwhile the abdomen felt too big. I could have unbuttoned one more button on the skirt but it would have been much higher cut than I was going for. 
Had high hopes for this as it’s a flattering cut and style but just not comfortable. 

Looked great when standing (although the bottom button kept coming undone). But did not work sitting. I wanted it for work so needed it modest. But if you're OK showing some leg, it'd be a great date night dress.

Fun and feminine spin on menswear. Covered all the right places even on larger chest and ruching was flattering around belly and hips. Definitely one of my go to designers for work. 

Loved this fit! Was very flattering in the mid section. Trendy but professional enough for work 

When I first tried it on, I thought, this isn’t going to fit! A little difficult to zip but once I got it on it felt ok, not like I couldn’t breathe or eat! It gave me a great shape and the ruching hid what I like to hide. I was feeling really good until I drove to see a client and looked down and it was gaping at the buttons and showing a little more leg than I wanted to. I might recommend sizing up. Very cute though!

Super flattering and more comfortable than I thought. It fit just right to the point I was afraid it may be too tight to be comfortable all day, but I was wrong. I felt great and it fit like a glove! Really good choice for my fellow petite ladies!

I read the reviews and went up 2 sizes and it was not enough. This dress is well made and really cute - it will look great on the right body shape. 

I didn’t end up wearing but it’s a cute dress! Very well made with a zipper in the front through thighs / waist then a clip and buttons upwards. Not stretchy but this one fit me perfectly. 

I don’t think I could sit down in this. It’s gorgeous but I didn’t wear it. It’s also expensive for a dress made from poplin. 

Loved the shape of this dress. It’s feels fresh. The fit is a bit strange because it’s looser in the waist and on top and more narrow in the skirt. If you have a curvy backside it may not work for you. It was also tricky to get in and out of the car because the skirt narrows at the knee. Still loved the look of it.

I’m normally a 4 and this 6 was uncomfortably tight. The fabric has no give. Definitely size up.
