I honestly expected more from Veronica Beard. It was a pretty color and flattering cut but that is about it. The fabric is very thin and there is no lining so you will want to plan on wearing shape underneath. There was also a gap in the fabric where the dress tied on the side. Not from an issue of it being too tight but more design flaw. I ended up pairing with a VB blazer for a date night and I thought it looked fine. I will not be renting again though.

Flattering cut and fit, tts. The only “annoyance” was the top ties and so it loosened throughout the night but its nice to be able to fit to chest.

I wanted to love this but it felt very meh on. The hips were a bit stretched out, and the color fell a bit flat, more matte than silky. 

This was a perfect color for a November wedding regardless of location (helpful for warm weather in Florida of course). Loved everything about this dress!

I wore this for a fall bridal brunch and it was comfortable; however, it does wrinkle easily. 

Sizes were spot on! Got tons of compliments as it sat on my body perfect. I was so confident and happy in this dress. 

This dress runs pretty true to size. It’s forgiving too as it isn’t too tight anywhere, so your usual size will fit just right. I loved the material and it had the perfect amount of cleavage so it felt sexy but modest. Would definitely recommend!

This was my first rent the runway dress and I really liked it! The color and the styler were gorgeous. The only issue was the boob area, I felt like my bra kept showing, so just think about that in terms of fit. And I wore it to a late summer wedding but probably would have been better for he fall since the material was so warm. Overall a great dress!

I wish I could buy this, it’s one of my favorite rentals I’ve had. 

Wore this dress a little less than three months postpartum, pumped while wearing the dress at the wedding. Extremely forgiving and easy to wear! So many compliments!

Was easily wrinkled and a bit hard to iron. A little loose on top but easy to wear due to the wrap fit.  Would definitely wear this again.

I rented this dress because scrolling through the pics everyone looked great in it and it did not disappoint. Very classy, fabric felt expensive, and the way the dress is cut would fit a variety of body shapes well. I ordered a 6 with a backup size 10. I probably would have worn an 8 of it was available, but either size would have worked. I chose the 6 because there was slightly less excess fabric on top. This dress is just super forgiving, even on my extremely pear shaped frame. I have a small waist with ample hips and large bootay and this dress was perfection.  The fabric looked and felt expensive. Would definitely rent again. 

Such a great dress! The hemline, the weight and drape to the fabric, and the color are fantastic. The tie completely covered the hidden zip in the front. 

Rent. This. Dress. 
I was skeptical because I really disliked the seam in the front (under the tie) but it was comfortable, flattering, and I received at least a dozen compliments on it. The color is incredible in person. 


Perfect fit, loved the material, easy to move in.

I wore this as a guest for a Catholic wedding. It was conservative enough for the church, but still made feel fun and flirty. After reading reviews, I made sure to have fashion tape on hand to secure the dress to my bra so it did not move around. I had no problems with the chest opening up. I was able to wear a regular bra, but make sure you wear seamless underwear because it will show all lines. It was a very comfortable to wear and I would rent it again. 

Loved the dress and received many compliments! I really liked that I could wear a regular bra. The zipper placement was a bit awkward, but overall it was very flattering and comfortable!

Felt amazing for an elegant dinner. Silky material, nice color and cool details. 

Rented the dress for a Jr. Cotillion so wanted a "tea length" dress. The fit was amazing. It is a wrap style so it was easy to put on and zipper was well placed. The design of the dress is perfect because both the neckline and the point in front, focused your eye on the middle of the dress giving a straight line, slimming effect. #myfavoritertr #jrcotillion

5'6, 125lbs, 30F bra, size 4, wide shoulders. I felt confident wearing this dress at a black tie wedding, as my style veers more contemporary than classic. I also enjoyed that I could wear a regular bra with this - although the armholes were slightly low enough that the sides of my bra were visible. As other reviewers have said, the dress has a zipper that sits under the sash belt and it's a bit of an awkward design/construction choice. Tying the sash belt over the zipper can conceal it but I did find myself having to adjust the belt through the night as it became slightly loose. Close to perfect, though.

I'm 133 lbs and 5'4" and wore the 4. Felt gorgeous & sexy. The color was perfect for a winter wedding. Needed lots of fashion tape to keep my boobs covered but after all was taped it was perfect. Danced all night!

I'm 5'1 ~125 lbs, worse the size 2, and the dress fit perfectly everywhere except it was a bit long for me as a midi dress. This was expected but I still enjoyed wearing it and would rent it again in the future. 

The dress was a very pretty rust color and I got a lot of compliments. The bust did run a little large and I found the seams running down the front to be a little awkward, but overall pretty happy with this rental.

I wore a size 8 and it was a perfect fit. The dress is very lightweight, so it required layers for my cold outdoor event. I liked the wrap style, but wasn’t too flattered by the way the top loosened in my chest area. I had to adjust it several times throughout the evening. I received compliments on my pictures, but unfortunately I had to stay covered up during the event due to being so cold. 

Absolutely love Veronica Beard! This dress was gorgeous and I received lots of compliments while wearing. 
I would say fits TTS. Would wear/rent again. Considered buying it even!

I rented this dress for a fall wedding and absolutely loved it! I wish I could have kept it. It was flattering, sexy and still covered enough to be in a church. I was comfortable all day and even dancing. I ordered the 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 4. My only recommendation is wear spanx as this silky material can easily show panty-lines etc. 

This is such a gorgeous copper color and the material is rich and hugs curves just right without being too tight.

Perfect bridesmaid dress, elegant, understated, but still felt great in it. I often feel like floor length dresses swallow me up and emphasize my shortness, this tea length dress with an uneven hem was the perfect length for me. Spanx are required in my opinion - you can see I'm not wearing them in the photo and the dress looked a million times better with them on. The fabric feels so luxurious!

Rented this for my son's wedding. Pretty and perfect for a summer wedding. The color was a main driver so I could fit in with the bride's palette for the wedding. Cut was stylish, but not as flattering as I'd hoped. But all in all I was happy with it-exactly what I needed for the occasion. 

I rented this dress for our fall family photos and I couldn't have been happier! The color was absolutely perfect and I've gotten so many compliments on it. 

I will say that I was a little disappointed when I first took it out and tried it on. It just didn't look like I had hoped, but after I steamed it it was just as I had imagined. So make sure you have your steamer ready after its travel :)

Needed a pin to keep the girls in. ;) Great color for a fall wedding, quality material and comfortable fit.  Took a minute to figure out sliding the strap through the opening to pull off the "wrap" style. 

fit was spot on, dress was in great condition and it's the most perfect fall color; it appeared more wine colored (to me) in the photos so be aware it's more rust than wine. 

This dress was beautiful and flattering, and I got lots of compliments on the autumn wedding I went to. It hugs your curves without being too clingy and was very comfortable! I also could wear my regular everyday bra, which is a huge plus for me. The top part runs a little bit for my smaller chest so I used a safety pin to keep it closed and avoid any malfunctions. Although the material is high quality, there is potential for VPL so just keep that in mind!
