Loved this suit so much and received several compliments, including one from a more reserved male colleague who told me, “That suit is GREAT! Really!” I was renting during a great RTR sale, so purchased. Will be able to wear these pieces as separates and together. Also, the perfect weight to wear in office through all seasons in the NE. Though, it might be too much for a really hot day. One note for renters, the jacket has an interior zipper, which is too tight for me to close all of the way. Not sure the purpose as seems like the jacket wouldn’t close correctly even if I could zip it based upon laying it down and trying it. Thought it was for a real hourglass fit, but not certain it works. 

This was just ok. Felt like any other blazer. I always size up in VB because I feel they don't always fit my curves too well. This fit great sized up. 

Usually a 4. The 6 was a little tight, no stretch, I liked it! (My mom said plaid is not my jam tho!) 

Liked this one however the fit was slightly different than other VB blazers I've worn. A little tighter with shorter arms. 

I love VB Blazer and rent all of the double breasted ones on a rotating basis. This one was definitely on the shorter side and probably would have paired better with a pencil skirt. 

Perhaps a side effect of over use, the inner lining is longer than the outer material. Did not wear. 

This is a wonderful jacket, with pretty blues and a copper thread through the pattern. The first day I wore it, I think I got 7 compliments. It fits nicely and is well proportioned. After wearing it several times to work and out to dinner, I’m not loving the notch in the front, so may not buy it, but it’s very pretty with navy or black trousers. Probably white, too. Honestly, you’ll get a lot of complements on this one. 

I ended up sizing up one size on the jacket as I’ve noticed that the shoulders look better with Veronica Beard when sized up. The pants were only available in 2 sizes up so it was very hard to tell how they are supposed to fit,  but they worked as a very baggy vibe with a belt

I love this brand and own other pieces from her and I was excited to rent something different. This blazer fit amazingly (no surprise) and I got tons of compliments. This was a speaking engagement for me and I was nervous enough. I love this blazer so much, I’m buying it. 

Jazzed up jeans and also wore with pants for a more “polished” look. It was heavy enough to wear without a coat in Chicago spring. Fit as expected! Would rent again

Veronica Beard blazers suit me so well. I wore this with a Fleetwood Mac T-shirt under it and now with this Vanessa Bruno button down under it. I will probably wear it most days that I have it with me and I wish it wasn’t so expensive even half off! I normally wear a six and got the eight because that’s what’s available and the fit is excellent. I can’t tell much difference between those two sizes since I got another Veronica beard blazer in a size 6 in this same shipment, and it fits about the same. I think maybe the arms are a little looser, which is perfect for me since I have big arms.

This jacket is super cute and versatile! The material is lighter than I was expecting and would work for Spring, Summer and Fall wardrobes. It looks darling with the matching pants, but also with jeans for a more smart casual look. 

Great blazer. Work appropriate & blues perfect for a denim bottom look. The cut of the blazer is great. Based on my body shape I wish the waist synched in just a bit more, but nonetheless still a great work blazer. 

Loved this! rented the pants and the jacket. Hugged curves perfectly. So many compliments. Felt like a real boss lady 

Wore to work meetings. Great quality. Tweed. Kept its shape. Can’t go wrong with VB!

VB nails it every time.  This blazer was a perfect fall addition for a few work meetings and trips. 

You need it. For work with a blouse under or party with just a bra under. 


For context, I’m 5’5”, 150ish lbs and a size 27 waist in Levi’s.  I have broader shoulders and a small bust. 

This was perfect for office casual. Got compliments! May size up next time for a roomier fit.

The fit was tighter, I usually take a 10 in jackets so I’d say it runs small. It buttoned but was really too tight to wear closed comfortably.

VERY warm bulky tweed. The periwinkle blue dominates with a yellowish orange tweed threading. Macho, newsy, 40’s vibe. I wore it with the pants… BUT wide legged jeans would bring it back into a more modern casual but professional look.
