This dress was not part of my original order. I had rented a dress for a Spring wedding and RTR notified me that my back up size was not available. They offered me a back up dress at no extra cost so I chose this one. It so happened that I was planning to go to the opera the night before the wedding! Upon receiving it, I realized I could not be seen in public in this dress as the fabric is completely sheer and called for some very specialized undergarments. The solution came in the form of high waisted undershorts, a stick-on underwire bra and fabric tape to hold the bra at the top. Voila! Perfection!

Vera Wang does boho! Absolutely in love with this blue/grey floral maxi. It runs true to size with room in the bust, hips, and waist. There is a slip underneath and no zipper, but small intricate buttons up the back. There are also two secret lace pockets, giving this style a very high-designer feel. For backup, I'd recommend sizing up if you're curvier and down if you're smaller framed. At 5'7" the length was perfect on me with or without the 3 inch heels I tried on with the dress. Pair it with delicate silver jewelry. 

I wore this to a casual garden party. The dress is very lightweight and perfect for a hot humid day. This dress very sheer and is layered over a neutral color slip that is fitted and zips up the back. I love this dress so much that I wore it any way despite the fact it is yards too long. I don't understand why there are pockets they are much too sheer and delicate to serve any purpose at all and, when you gather up the dress the pockets gap making it look like it is torn. (I did not wear a bra, but since I am not well endowed in that area no one noticed) Overall I love the dress and received may admiring looks and complements. If it were shorter. I would have kept it to wear to another function, but hence I have to bid farewell. I hope to find a RTR maxi that can worn by petite women. 

I love this dress. There are even pockets. It's comfortable and all the fabric in the skirt is beautiful. 

I would be interested to see how the smaller size would have fit. It is supposed to lay loose on your body though so I do think the fit is true to size. It was way too long for me though. I wore 3" heels and was still tripping ALL over the place. I had to keep pulling it up and carrying the excess fabric. It's gorgeous though and I love all the detailing. I got a lot of compliments! 

Pretty dress but unfortunately it was not a flattering fit for me.  Maybe would have fit better if a size 0 was available.  I tried the dress on with 4" wedges and the dress was slightly dragging on the floor.  Would not recommend for the ladies 5'5" or under.
