Wore this for my brother's college graduation and LOVED IT!! I felt stunning and it was so comfortable! The ties on the side to define the waist were definitely a highlight. 10/10 would rent (or even buy) again!

This Ulla Johnson moves so well and is a fabulous design. If only it didn't run so large!  I'm 5'8" 165 pounds & 36DDD/E in these photos usually wearing a 10 and this is size 10. It's still too generous of a fit in the chest, hips and waist. Size down at least one.  

The waist can be tightened with the side tassels but not easily. I included a side view photo to show how arm holes are done right! The elastic might've been slightly annoying on the sleeves but having arm holes like this more than made up for it.  And pockets! The length is great, the v-neck wasn't too low but it did gape because it's too large. Sizing down should fix that.   This has been on the site since 2019/2020 so it's days are numbered to rent! I'm hoping to try it smaller and hopefully buy it. Love Ulla Johnson- please stock up with many more of her latest designs.

Loved this dress. Lots of fabric, very comfortable and great for my 33 week bump. 6 was only size available but 4 would have fit better. Has ties on the side to adjust the fit though so I still wore several times and pockets are fabulous. 

Fit is tts-and the side ties allow for flexibility.  Ulla rarely disappoints and this was a winner!

Great for summer and vacation. Country style dress. Love it! 

Love this dress so much! Another Ulla win. Rented for an Italian vacation and it was perfect. The deep V was a little low for me, but no big deal. 
The ties are the best to accentuate your waist, and the length is great even for petites. Will rent again! 

I wore this to a bday party. I thought I looked too busty with the fitted top but got lots of compliments. Comfy dress.

You can pull the cords at the waist to give you a perfect figure.  There are pockets.  It’s kind of little house on the prairie but somehow just works.  I got compliments all day long.  

I’m typically an 8 in this shape Ulla dress. Got the six and honestly could have probably done the four. With the side tassels cinched and a belt it worked fine, but belt was needed. Got lots of complements- good quality and trendy versatile piece. 

I called this my Frida Kahlo dress! Wore it on vacation to Mallorca and felt like I was wearing sunshine. Lots of compliments and the dress photographs so well! 10/10

I’m usually a 6 in Ulla and sometimes even an 8 but based on reviews, I sized down significantly on this one and the fit was perfect. I love the color for transitioning to fall and it looked so cute with booties. Highly recommend 

Wore it to work and out to a dinner. Feminine and lovely and nice that it’s 100% cotton. 

Felt AMAZING in this dress, but it definitely runs huge. If I were to rent again I'd go down two sizes.

Wore this before my vacation and loved it so much that I took it with me, lol.  It photographs well, is lightweight, and has pockets!! There is something so fun about this color and it is just such a great transition piece (for example, this in fall with a denim jacket.) Will definitely rent again, or purchase. 

I love this. It's super flattering, well made and great detail. If anything it runs a smidge large, but mostly true to size. I wore it without cinching the drawstring. The color would have been tough to pull off without a bit of a tan. 

I wish I could buy this dress and keep it forever. Had room to size down but the 2R was the only size available when I was picking sizes. Has pockets, falls to the ground well. Probably too long at my height but didn't care. Such a fun dress to wear around, dressed up or down!

Beautiful dress.  The golden mustard color is so rich.  Fabric is soft and breathable. LOVE LOVE LOVE! 

I loved this dress! The sizing is pretty forgiving but with the cinchable waist, it felt very flattering. Super comfortable and fun, with great movement as you walk. 

Loved this dress! It was a lot of fabric but I went one size down and it fit great and was super flattering! The photos do not do this justice. Love the details abs the marigold color. Great for fall, spring, summer. I paired with Gucci slides and a leather jacket for early Seattle spring but plan on wearing it when I go back east with sandals for a more beach look.

This dress is an exact replica of a vintage patio dress but it has pockets and an elastic waist which is a kryptonite combo in my book. I love the mustard color. I would buy this dress if I had the money. 

Such a fun, flowy dress. I sized down per other reviews and am glad. It's a lot of dress but super fun to wear. Like you have to gather it all up when you get into the car. The elastic on the sleeves is a little right but not unbearable. Would rent again 

This is a great dress.it runs a little big, and it's a lot of material, so my recommendation is to size down. It's definitely a statement dress, though it looks much better on than on the hanger. I paired this dress with a nude strap or sandal and gold chain necklace. 

Size down one size. I wore one size down and still had plenty of room. Not sure if the puffed sleeves were flattering, but I enjoyed wearing this dress. It was easy and comfortable 

typically a 14/16 so I worried about this 12 from ulla but I knew it didn't have a zipper + elastic waist. it's a little tight but I don't have much of a bust so it works for me! can't wait to wear this out and about. considering purchasing as a summer staple

I normally wear a size 4, but other reviews mentioned it running large so I dropped down to a 2 and it fit perfectly. There are ties on both sides to cinch the waist and give a more flattering figure. I wore 2 inch heels which gave it a good length off the ground. A very flowy and incredibly comfortable dress that HAS POCKETS!!

I have been wanting an  Ulla Johnson dress forever. Always in Vogue magazine as the prefect summer/ vacation dress. I loved wearing this dress and getting so many compliments!!!!

I had fun with the color of this dress! I don't think that I have ever worn this color before. This dress has a lot of material and will draw attention. The dress is roomy. There are draw strings at the waist to make a more fitted waist for those with smaller waist. I enjoyed wearing this dress. I think it could be easy to get lost in this dress, which is why I paired it with my fav jean jacket. 

Longer than I thought it would be - and I was sized down. But super fun, attention grabbing dress. Country western? Pilgrim-ish? I don't know? But it was fun to dance in! 

This dress was a blast to wear! The waist has adjustable ties, so you can cinch it to be more flattering. It was just perfect for a cowboy rehearsal dinner.

This runs huge!  I am a 6/8 but probably could have worn a 2.  I got the waist a little tighter with the pulls after I took the picture but it is still pretty shapeless and not the easiest color to wear.  It's on trend but felt a little like western cosplay to me.  I ended up just wearing around the house and on errands for the weekend.

This dress has a real boho vibe and is fun and flouncy. It's a LOT of fabric though and made me feel larger at the hips than I already am.

Love this designer but the looks are a bit out there. Very on trend right so alright I'll try. I actually got a lot of compliments on this one. The overall size is in fact large I'm more of a size 14/16 and I could wear this as a 12 - it is fitted in the bust / waist area which for me is my smallest part. Tons of room in the hips/butt and the arm puffs have stretch as well. The wrinkles came out after I wore it for an hour or two.

This was an amazing dress - I loved the western vibe. It was very comfortable and light weight - the arms were puffy so if you're not into this lewk I wouldn't go for this style. Otherwise, was very flattering and beautifully made. 

Perfect dress for my Italian vacation! Definitely size down as it's a lot of fabric and the waist is adjustable
