This dress is a win for any occasion. Wish it had been a little more fitted in the waist, so maybe size down if you are petite!

This dress is so cute! I got a 4 because that’s what was available but a 2 would have been a better fit. The material is structured but light for being structured. I love the tiers of ruffles, the fitted top, and the adjustable shoulder ties. It’s an adorable summer night dress!

Wore this to a reception dinner with an upscale western theme, and felt perfect! The dress fit like a glove--snug in the top and forgiving at the bottom, though I will say that I have an extremely small chest, so may not be the best pick for someone with tiddies. Yeehaw!!!

Love this brand but I find the waist for to be too tight on my body in general- this dress was no different! No stretch, tight at waist but tolerable- otherwise fit was true to size. I have a boxy athletic figure hope that helps for those wondering.

I have never received so many compliments. Such a beautiful and versatile dress. I wore to a gala, but you could easily dress it down with a jacket and booties. Beautiful print and the ruffles steamed easily. 

I am between a 6 / 8 and the 6 fit perfectly but the chest was a little tight like some of the other comments. Dressed it up for a fall black tie wedding and got so many compliments! The length was perfect for me in my 1 inch heels. It can definitely fit more like a midi length for the taller gals. This dress can definitely go with a black tie / black tie optional / cocktail event or even western wedding with boots!! 

I loved that I didn't have to wear a bra, the top was tight enough to keep everything in place, got so many compliments, never felt like I had to check my dress or make adjustments/hike it up, was really comfortable the whole night, and I'm renting it a second time for a formal dinner/dance party!  i would buy this dress if i could!

I am usually between size 4-6 and size 6 fit just right . If I was 1lb heavier I don’t think the zipper would have closed - I have large backs , 36D bras .

Ulla just hits it every time. Perfect to dress up or down depending on what event you have. 

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and sized up to a 10 (I’m usually 6/8). Dress was so comfy, didn’t need to wear a bra, and looked great! Very happy with one! I did steam the ruffles a bit but that wasn’t a big deal. 

Parties, dates, gallivanting — I didn’t take this dress off and kept for two orders!   Fitting and sassy on the top and layers on the bottom.  Great length for a petite.  I am a consistent 2 in anything Ulla that zips, and this one fit true to size.  Highly recommend!  

Loved this dress for a little loose on the top (sticky tape might help!) but the dress was perfect - I wore heels but you could easily wear flats and dress down!

Wore to a winter wedding in New Orleans. So beautiful and easy to wear. Didn’t need to wear a bra. Got a lot of compliments. I wish I had another excuse to wear it! 

I have been dying to rent this dress but it was already rented every time I tried until this past month. It is so beautiful! It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The best part is you don’t have to wear spanx. It is so flattering. A must rent!

This dress was great! So comfortable and flattering. I added a sticky bra even though I didn’t need to. I got both the 4 and 6 and both were so similar I don’t even remember which one I wore because I could barely tell a difference in sizing.

Loved this dress! I needed to iron out some of the ruffles as they were turned inside out but it was a quick fix.

Loved this dress. So comfy for a long wedding night. 

Rib cage was a lil loose but the tie straps were made to be tied so could be adjusted to fit. Loved the ruffles. The whole vibe. Perfect for summer or fall. Dressy enough for parties but also casual running errands. 

Wore it for a wedding and got so many compliments! It’s brown with a few subtle hues of blue which I thought was stunning. I have a small frame but I’m very busty (32DDD) so I was paranoid the top was going to crush my boobs but it fit perfectly! You can also adjust the straps. 

This dress had everything right about it and more. Received so many compliments and never felt like I had to adjust it and I was able to feel comfortable and enjoy the party!!!!! SO COMFORTABLE!! 

I adore Ulla Johnson!! The dress was fun and twirly. The size I chose was slightly too tight in my rib cage so uncomfy during the dancing part of my night. 

But otherwise I received so many compliments and felt beautiful!! 

Runs slightly large, I’m usually a 2 and could have worn a 0. If you are larger chested, this will run TTS

I loved this dress so much! I wore a size 2 and had my backup in size 0 which fit as well, but was a little snug in the ribcage area and I wanted to be comfortable at my friend’s wedding. It was great that the straps are ties so you can adjust them to your liking. For reference, I’m 5’4 and 122 lbs. 

Wore this to officiate a family wedding and I loved everything about it - fit, length, pattern, design. I want it in my closet 4E. The ruffles on the skirt weren't overwhelming and that + the pattern made it a fun but very polished pick. The 8 fit perfectly, length hit mid-shin. Shoulder ties stayed put. 

I wore this dress to a style show luncheon! The bust part was a bit tight with the 6 so I went with the 8.  I did not have to wear a bra and the dress held everything in. I received so many compliments on this dress and highly recommend.

This dress was perfect for an indoor/outdoor rehearsal dinner in the mountains! The size 4 was snug but I preferred that and honestly would’ve felt great in the 6 too! The shoulders untie so that was nice to adjust as well. Got so many compliments!

True to size, such pretty colors for a fall wedding and SO comfortable without making you look larger or oddly shaped. Get the dress!

Wore to a wedding rehearsal and I’m obsessed! Super comfy, cute, didn’t have to wear a bra and the perfect length for someone 5’1. Straps are adjustable too which is nice

Paired it with heels for the ceremony and switched to boots for the reception - worked well both ways! The fabric was not what I pictured - a little less dressy than I anticipated but the print and silhouette disguised the more cotton-like textile. Fit true to size for me. 

I knew the 4 would have been a better fit, but that size was not available. I squeezed into the 2 and made it work. Very structured corset-like top with no give through the natural waist. But Ulla is always so fun and interesting, I would recommend renting if you can get the right size!

Wore to a bridal shower. Loved the straps in the back. It was light weighted and good for a hot day. The ruffles were fun. I’d recommend steaming it first. 

Wore for a wedding and received so many compliments! Does take a while to iron & is shorter on taller girls. 

Beautiful dress. No bra necessary. Fabric has no give so size up if you are between sizes. :)
