Despite my husband calling me "batman" I was very into this cape. Spices up an otherwise basic (but flattering!) black jumpsuit.

Fits perfectly! Not too tight in the waist- you can eat a full meal and be totally fine :) perfect for a date night or fun night out with friends. 

I felt like such a badass in this outfit. I'm usually a 6 in most clothing but sized down to a 4 and glad I did!! Fit like a glove.

I'm petite and the legs were a little long on me, but this outfit was killer and the cape made me feel so so awesome

I have a long torso and the waist hit me just right. The jumpsuit is well structured and flattering. 

I wish I could own this outfit and more by Trina Turk. The size 4 hugged me in all the right places while being completely comfortable and easy to wear. The cape was an added bonus making this jumpsuit fancy enough for a wedding but trendy enough for a more casual party/event. 

I have a very slim frame so I was worried about the fit but it just had a little wiggle room to it that wasn't too noticeable. I added a white belt to hint at my officiant responsibility and got so many compliments all day on my choice of outfit. It made me wish I could afford to buy it! Trust, you will slay the day in this look! 

I wore this to welcome drinks kicking off a wedding weekend in San Francisco. It was the perfect weight for the slightly chilly weather - northern California in January isn't exactly warm. I found that it was just heavy enough to keep me warm without a jacket while the sun was out but no too much to where I felt too warm when inside. 

I wore the 2R and had to hem the legs just a little bit, as my legs are on the shorter side. I also have a longer torso and there was never a point where I was uncomfortable or felt trapped, the length was just right (I could even comfortably raise my arms above my head!). This is a great sophisticated look for a cocktail hour and I imagine it would be well suited for a work event or gala depending on how you accessorize. 

And most importantly it has pockets!

The 4 was a little larger than I expected it to be, and the leg width was slightly wider than I'd anticipated, but the look overall was great. 

I have been looking forward to this caped jumpsuit for months, and it did not disappoint. It was my best friend's wedding, and even SHE was telling people about this outfit leading up to the event. My photo doesn't do it justice... the lighting is terrible and I forgot to get a head-on photo of it! The material is heavy but not hot - more like really rich and sturdy - but breathable. There was a tiny hook on one side of the cape but I have no idea where it was supposed to link up to, so when it got warm from dancing, I just pushed the cape off my shoulders. The jumpsuit has pockets, a huge plus. The fit is extremely flattering. I'm 5'2, 110 pounds, 32B, so it was a little big but I didn't look frumpy. Because it's black and the chest and waist fit perfectly, you couldn't really tell the upper legs and hips were a little big. The legs were a little long, but I just cuffed them once and they were perfect (you couldn't even tell that the seams were showing... people were too into the cape!). And I got so many compliments. I highly highly recommend. 

I love this! I ordered a size 6 and 8 because I'm pretty busty. And I was surprised the 6 fit as well as it did. The jumper is very comfy and was so easy to sit and dance in. It was a little longer than I like (but I am only 5'2") so I fashion taped a hem to show off some ankle for the night. Overall very happy with this and I received alot of compliments! Will order again!

It was a little baggy and the pants were very long (I'm short). Overall it did fit and I got many compliments. The front V was a bit deeper than I was comfortable with. 

I wore this cape jumpsuit to a fashion show in Chicago, it was supposed to be outside but the weather ended up being rainy. So I wanted something that was versatile for the cold weather yet looked sharp. This was perfect. I got so many compliments on it! 

I'm 5'6 and 160 lbs. After reading reviews, I ordered the 6R and 8R. I'm typically an 8 and wore the 8, based on how I like my clothes to look and feel. I received compliments all night on this outfit. Seamless experience with order, receiving, and return. May not wear this outfit again, but will definitely order with RTR for my next event!

A little longer than expected, compared to the photo. Neck line a bit lower compared to photo. Great fabric and overall fit, very flattering 

Runs big in the crotch area.  I wear a 4 but the 0 fit better.  No bra required.  Very classy, professional looking outfit yet super cool & trendy.  The fabric is really thick, so not such a good pick for Houston weathers.   Over all I was pleased with my selection! 

I love this ! I would keep this forever and wear it everyday if I could. Trying to find this to buy it even though it's $400 because I truest felt like a million bucks! Also it's sooooo comfortable! 

This jumpsuit was a hit! The fit.  The cape. The pockets. Truly a look. I wore this for my engagement party and felt amazing. Its warm so can be worn through the winter spring transition. It's fitted in the right places but I was able to move comfortably and dance the night away. I would definitely rent this piece again!

I wore this NYE 2018 and it was the perfect choice! The fabric is great - it was stretchy and comfortable but also the capelet was super warm, which was great in single digit weather. It is a very flattering cut. Only con: you definitely need to bring a bathroom buddy, it's impossible to zip up on your own. 


The bottom was a touch loose and the torso was juuuust long enough for my longer torso. I had to cuff the legs 3 times to make it ankle length, but my inseam is short (I’m 5’3). Overall, I felt and looked awesome and wish I could buy it.

Wore this for a formal dinner I️ hosted for clients. I️ felt professional while also bringing my own style and personality. I️ wore my hair up to simplify the look a bit. 

I had initially an unfortunate shipment in that both of my items had a tear!   RTR made it right however, by over-nighting a perfect piece just in time for the wedding!!!  I got a ton of compliments and felt very pretty all night!!  Necklace was rented too!   Thank you!!  

This worked as the base of an outfit I accessorized heavily for an elvis outfit. The fit in the crotch area was not great. Arm mobility was limited, so not a good dancing outfit.

This was one of my best rentals yet. Fit true to size, very flattering and comfy too! Loved this one! I'll rent it again.

I wore this to the reception of a book release. The one piece was very flattering and it was an eye catcher. I'd rent this again!

The fit was perfect!  Very comfortable and flattering.   I added a belt to the waist just to give it a little extra something but it looked good without any accessories.


I loved this outfit.  Very chic.  Very comfortable.  Nice, heavy material so it was great for cooler weather too.  This was my first time using Rent the Runway.  Will definitely do it again!  Great experience.

Loved this option.  It came as a replacement for what I originally selected, but I found out we were getting unseasonably cold weather at an outdoor summer camp wedding (try dressing for that option!) I had the stylist throw in a pant suit option with a cape as a long shot, but it was perfect.  Not only was I plenty warm for the Maine night time temps, I got SO many compliments.  I'm a believer in capes now.  

Great fit. Well made. Good fabric. Comfortable! The only issue I had was zipping and unzipping, but I'm not flexible enough to reach my back!

Love love love his one. I want to buy it. I received so many compliments and felt amazing wearing it. It made me feel sexy and confident! I am 5' 3" and 112 and usually west a size 4 or 6. But the 4 was perfect. Not overly tight. I could actually sit down, dance and do anything else!!

The fit was great! My favorite RTR to date. I received SO many compliments. 

It is wool therefore is very hot.  I was inside but still found myself sweating.  I was volunteering at a star studded event (with Patti LaBelle, Teddy Riley, Eddie George, Kirk Franklin, Kelly Price & more....) and I got ALOT of compliments as a volunteer required to wear black.  I would definitely rent this again. 

It fit perfect just the smell when they arrived I had to taken them both to be cleaned. In the end the jumper was comfy and worked well with the High Tea Bridal Shower theme 

For perfect. Loved this outfit! So easy to wear. Perfect amount of edge.

I ended up with the 6R and fit perfectly. I'm 5' 8" and the girth couldn't have been any shorter to wear it comfortably, but it worked, sitting and standing. The legs are a little wider/looser than I expected. It has pockets which is a plus and looks great with pumps and fun jewelry!

I have an annoying long torso so I was nervous that the jumpsuit wouldn't fit. However, the 8R worked! The top was a little tight in the chest but made the somewhat masculine look more feminine with some cleavage. I got a ton of compliments all night long and it was a perfect outfit for a night wedding!
