Good summer work dress, fit well. Not a standout, but did the trick.

This dress is so light and comfortable, which is great for the summer heat! I probably could've gotten away with a 4, but got a 6 since I have broader shoulders and dresses are always a little tricky 

I ordered a size 8 assuming it would be a little bit big on me; however, 6 wasn't available. It's great work work and can be worn in any season. Perfect length and very comfortable! 

I'm v petite and thought the dress was too large when I tried it on. That said, I love the blousy fit. It had a mid-60s vibe and the fabric is silky and light (especially during a heat wave in NYC). Love!

My typical size is an 8 but after reading reviews I chose the 6.  It did fit just fine but was somewhat tight in the bust area.  The buttons pulled if my arms moved too much.  It was a cute dress but I do wish the bust area fit better.  I also had some static cling issues with the fabric. The print works well for the fall but it is a thin fabric (although not see-through) so you may be chilly on a cold fall day.

The dress was super comfortable. My normal size wasn't available so I went one size up and it was a bit baggy without the belt and jacket over it. Still super cute and great for a day time event.

Perfect fit with an elastic waistband for comfort. The material feels great and everyone loved it!


Loved this dress. Very comfortable and stylish to wear for everyday wear or to work. I wore to work and it was a little longer than I'm used to but still a great length. Plus you can adjust the elastic under the boob area. Wore with a blazer and received a lot of compliments!

I loved everything about this dress - fabric and pattern are beautiful, and the fit is flattering yet comfortable. I have big arms so it fit me fairly TTS, but is very loose at the waist and chest - i think many people would be able to size down.

Overall, this is a great dress: beautiful fabric, fun print, wide shoulder coverage makes it easy to wear a normal bra. It's also a good work length: right at my knee (I'm 5'2", so it would be shorter on others). Only complaint is that it runs a bit large. I could have definitely sized down, maybe even two sizes. It's a bit baggy so I feel like I keep pulling at it.

Wore the Ryder dress to an outdoor, casual wedding on a ranch in Wyoming. Wish I had cowboy boots to go with it, but it was the perfect level of formality. It's super light weight, so I wore a nude slip underneath just ... because. It's not see-through though so don't worry! I wear a 12 on bottom usually, but could have worn a 10 in this dress because of my narrower waist/bust (10 wasn't available). I'm 6'2", 170lb, 34B - the length was perfect since I don't like to show a lot of leg!!

Light and breezy fabric, comfortable fit. Length was a bit shorter than I normally go for, but I am tall. Overall, great dress, and I wish I could buy it. 

Professional, feminine, great summer dress for work or a party

Tempted to buy this because it is so versatile! Usually I'm not a fan of waistbands, because I'm kinda pear shaped, but this was not an issue with this dress, and in fact it gave me more of an hourglass appearance. Wire it with a orange cardigan and black flats. It's super thin, silky material, so you might want to wear a slip under it.

Wore this for client meeting.  Very lightweight fabric that required ironing/steaming. Had a little issue with static cling. Overall very comfortable and colorful dress. 

This summer, light weight dress has a nice floral pattern.  It was a little shapeless though and poofed out around my stomach.  I added a cardi and a belt to give some shape and I did get compliments.

I thought this dress was cute.  I really liked the quality of fabric and colors.  I got a ton of compliments from other woman which I was surprised by b/c I thought the dress was so-so!  

Rented for work but couldn't wear it there it is way too casual. Instead wore it for a weekend in the hamptons both to the beach and to dinner (and got a compliment!) it is not lined and a thin material bunches a little weird but comfy overall

I rented this dress for my engagement photo session after having rented it previously. This dress is unbelievably comfortable and stylish! The collar at the neck makes it work appropriate, but the fabric is light-weight and wrinkle-free for almost any occasion. The waist is very stretchy and the skirt is loose, which allowed me to wear the smaller of the two sizes I ordered. I love this dress, and plan to rent again (if not buy it!). 

Love the pattern and the silky shine to the fabric. Took everyone's advice and sizes down (normally an 8, ordered a 6). Fit was great, even for a large bust. Cons: unlined, billows in the lower back, static cling is a constant! I styled it for a cold day with a sweater, tights and boots and for a warmer day with a leather jacket and flats. I added a slip underneath to make up for lack of lining. I considered buying it!

Love Tory Butch stuff and this dress made the relationship even stronger. Beautiful fabric and pattern, feminine and springy. Perfect for my fundraising brunch. Tons of compliments. Extremely comfortable too except a tad tight for me in the arm pits. Didn't give it 5 stars because I needed to use fashion tape to hold down the buttons at the top so it wouldn't gap and show my bra.

Overall, I liked this dress a lot and wore it two 2 different conservative/work events.  I liked the fabric a lot and the buttons were in a great place to create a flattering v neck, but not to show too much cleavage. 
My only complaint is the waist is gathered with elastic, so it kind of blouses in an unusual way.  I put a waist high belt with it, and liked it that way much better.  Altogether, an easy dress and I'd recommend it!  Fits true to size.  

I'm usually between a 10-12 and the 10 was still a little blousy in the chest. I think if you're small chested definitely size down. Dress was a little staticky at times on the backs of my legs but overall really liked this and is great for work and I think would be good for after work as well. 

Great for work with a black blazer, black pumps. Easy and cute. 

Loved the material, floral print, and nice length for work. The elastic waist didn't work for me, leading to a baggy top that wasn't flattering to me. 

Such a fun dress! I'm so excited to wear this in the Spring! Made me look slimer and taller. Anyone with wider hips is going to love this dress cause it has so much room. 

The fit was great; loved the elastic waistband too! I probably could've gotten a 10, but the 12 fit fine. I wore it to a Fashion Show I co-chaired so I wanted to wear something fashionable, yet not too over the top.  This would be a great dress for any brunch or daytime event. Would definitely wear again. 

Loved this dress enough to consider buying it. I rented it for a more casual work event in Orlando where I paired it with a cardigan sweater. I might get an extra wear by pairing it with tights and a blazer back in NYC. The waist hit at just the right spot and I felt pretty and comfortable all day long. This will definitely be on rotation.

Love the print! Flattering cinched waist cut. Button and collar make it ok for work even though it's a little more flouncy than structured. Dark fabric with floral print makes it great for moms who are forever fighting toddler sticky fingers! Would rent again. 

I loved this dress for its versatility. I wore it belted with heels to work and simplified with casual flat sandals for the weekend. The colors are great for transitioning to fall, especially with my leather jacket. I'm considering buying this one!

This dress was very comfortable and easy to wear. I felt like it was a little plain by itself so I wore it with a belt. Thin, breezy fabric. It's prettier in person. 

This was a great dress to transition from summer to fall - the fabric was light weight but the colors started to foray into autumn. I wore this to a matinee Broadway show and then straight to dinner. In true Tory Burch fashion, the sizing runs a bit large, so glad I ordered an 8 instead of 10. I have a broader back and swimmer shoulders and had no issues with space. I paired with black booties and a light cardigan. I even wore again at work before sending it back. Tons of compliments (even from strangers on the street) and my mother in law was in awe of how well made this dress is. Definitely recommend! 

I'm 14 weeks preggo so looking for dresses that are looser and can cover up the bump. This dress was prefect. Comfy and longer in length. I'm 5'10, so need dresses that are longer in length. Overall, perfect for work and a nice late summer day. 

Loved this dress! Will definitely rent again! Light, comfortable, flattering and you can wear this dress to anything! Dress it up, make it casual! Not as many compliments as with the other RTR dresses, but by far my favorite! Hides those problem areas very well 
because of the fit and pattern.
