I'll have to admit I was very skeptical of this dress. It seems really basic/boring. However, I wore it with a black blazer and it essentially functioned as a suit, except 100x more comfortable. The fabric is thick and stretchy (yet forgiving for the most part). I felt like a million bucks. My only complaint is that the sleeves are too tight, especially at the bottom, which wasn't super flattering. However, the blazer solved that problem and actually completed the look. For sure will rent again.

I rented this to switch up my looks at work and I absolutely adore this dress. The material is stretchy which isn't what i thought but I love it. The sleeves are a bit tight but everything else was awesome

Fit great--made my waist look small and the bottom was giving. Very comfortable & got a lot of compliments at work! Paired with a blazer & heels. 

I wore this a couple of times -- it's one of those dresses that's just very versatile. I was thisclose to keeping it, and will definitely rent it again. Nice construction, and substantial. Could be be for colder temps with tights or Spring weather!

This dress is as comfortable as sweats but still so pulled together. Fabric is heavy but has a lot of give. I worn it with tights for work but I might lose the tights and wear it with heels to an afternoon wedding. 

I'm a true size 4 but I ordered a M based on some reviews. It was a little big / shapeless but good enough for work. 

Comfortable & flattering color blocking dress by Tory Burch in black & white. Runs small. I am usually a size 10 on top and size 8 on bottom (5'8", 153 lbs, 36C), so I am between a Medium - Large in dresses. This dress in size Large fit perfectly with no extra room to spare. Also, if you have larger arms, these sleeves might be too tight. 

Material feels like a soft jersey. It is thick and has some stretch in it. The dress is partially lined (only in the front of the top part).

My only knock on this dress is that it is high-waisted and that the skirt is more A-line than expected. Otherwise, I highly recommend this dress for the office.

So I think this cut would be better for petites or women with shorter torsos. It hit me too high and felt matronly. Other ppl who reported right sleeves were correct. The material is awesome and comfortable, but I didn't wear this. 

Didn't love this dress and don't end up wearing. As the other reviews said, the arms do run small, but I wouldn't necessarily have wanted to size up because the rest of the dress fit well. The white part of the dress I received was also pretty worn, so I did not wear this one. 

This for the second time I rented this dress and I still LOVE it. I wore it for a conference where I was speaking - and wore it all day and was so comfortable. It runs small so size up. It was forgiving and flattering and looked very professional.

I have a big chest so should have went with the Small, was a bit too tight. Otherwise great for work!

Fit true to size. Heavy but not too heavy fabric. Perfect for work. 

If you have no waist, this dress is for you! It creates the illusion of a waist and is incredibly flattering. My only tip would be to size up if you have a big bust -- the material up top is not forgiving or stretchy.

I'm a true size six. I got the size small (4-6) but it was way too fitted and short for a work event. Might be cuter in the bigger size though!

It probably wouldn't hurt to size up. It's VERY form fitting. But it's overall so well made, very high quality material, simple and very chic. 

I am surprised with the negative reviews of this dress.  I adore it.  I've actually rented it twice, and kept it for several wears each time.  It's in my closet now, as I wait for it to warm up a bit so I can wear it again.    It's super flattering, especially for a pear shape.  It's also very different from anything else that I wear.  

Runs SMALL!  I am a comfortable size 12, and the XL was super tight in the arms.  Fit great everywhere else, but the arms were like whoa!

I had no idea that I would love this so much. It was flattering in the chest and stomach (7 months postpartum). It wasn't too loose or too tight. The material is thick and hid lines. 10/10 would rent again.

This is SUCH a cute work dress and I got so many compliments.  Like all other Tori Burch clothes, it does run small, so be sure to size up.  Also, the material is stretchy but not super forgiving, so be aware that it is somewhat form fitted.  

It fit well and the zipper was not a hassle. It is very rich looking material and looks pretty on. 


I love this dress so much - wish I could afford to buy it! It fit me TTS and was a work appropriate length (I am 5'8"). It hugged my curves and made me feel sexy but still looked professional. 

Sleeves were tight but everything else was comfortable!

I ended up not being able to wear it to work because my cardigans looked awkward on top of it, and it was too cold to wear without something. Will rent again in warmer weather. 

I really liked this dress. It fit well and worked with black tights for winter. Will rent again. 

Great dress, very forgiving of my tummy.  The sleeves were very tight so I would size up next time just for that.

I love the stretchy thick knit material of this dress. It accommodates my pear shape and emphasizes the top. I'm a 32b with 26 in waist and 38 in hips. I will definitely rent this again for every day. Some women might find this short in length. I'm 5'4" so it looks fine with tights. 

I surprisingly ended up loving this dress. However, it would be a little short to wear without tights for tall people such as myself. 

Tight on the arms, overall cute dress. Will fit a petite frame. 

It was very cute and fit well. Solid basic. 

The zipper would stop at the waist. I had plenty of room but it just wouldn't move. It was the strangest thing.  I zipped it up past the waist and put it on over my head and finished the zip on the top end.  I probably could have sized up and felt a little more comfortable, but overall cool dress that worked well for work.

LOVED this dress for work! Good amount of stretch except the arm sleeves were a tad tight. I usually wear a 8/10 and the Large was great- definitely wouldn't have fit in a Medium. The only odd thing for me about this dress was the black material kept picking up dust and debris. It would look like I had dust around the skirt and I hadn't done anything. It happened multiple times throughout the day where I had to go to the restroom to wipe it off. 

Snug fit, a little short, but with tights still work appropriate. Pretty comfortable and got lots of compliments!
