runs a bit long though fits perfectly due to a thick but stretchy fabric

I loved this dress. It fit true to size and showed off my curves. My only gripe would be that someone wore the same exact dress to the same event that I went to. I wish there was a feature on RTR that would eliminate or at least warn you that someone in the surrounding area may be wearing the same dress. All in all, I loved the dress and felt great, even when I was twinsies with someone else at the ball.

If you are athletic and curvy this is the dress for you! I am petite and curvy and this fit my body perfectly! I wore the petite and the length was perfect no hemming needed! So amazing!

I really liked this dress.  It was very comfortable to wear all night long, and the details of the back of the dress were so eye-catching.

Classic but with some pizazz! Such a beautiful and sexy formal gown, perfect for a black tie wedding. Comfortable and easy to dance in.

Originally wanted the 4L as most dresses run short on me, but I'm very glad I got the 4R; I was able to wear 5 inch heels without a problem. The mesh in the back unfortunately had a small tear in the back, but it isn't noticeable without a close look. This dress gave me the illusion of curves and made me look and feel so fantastic. I'll definitely be looking for excuses to wear this again! 

LOVED this dress! It fit pretty tight through the waist and down to the knee (takes that mermaid shape real seriously), but some shapewear and I was ready to dance all night long at a formal gala. I loved the material, thick enough to feel good quality and nice for winter. I was really sad to see this is on clearance, totally would have rented it again!

I rented this dress for a formal wedding that I coordinated. It was very comfortable and fun to wear! The back is more sheer in person that it looks online, but no problem, I just wore a backless bra. When I received the dress, it did have quite a few strings coming undone from them hem, I just taped those up while I wore it. I wore with flats as I was working, so the length seems slightly long in the photo, but I had no trouble walking (running) around all night. I received tons  of compliments! Would rent again!

My first RTR experience and won't be my last. The reviews and photos made me feel confident that this dress would fit me like a glove and make me feel super glam. 

I love the back of this dress! And the front too lol. I honestly wanted to keep it. I got so many compliments too. I would rent it again, and very true to size! Glad I got the long version too.

I absolutely loved this dress. I opted to wear the 6P over the 4P (my usual size) because it gave me a little more room. The 4P fit but was a little tighter than I felt comfortable with.  The fabric was thick and looked expensive.  The gold lace on the back was a little itchy but not enough to stop me from wearing the dress.  The length was perfect too (5'2" with about 3 inch heels.  I didn't have to worry about tripping on the bottom of the dress). 
Would definitely recommend! 

I LOVED this dress!! It was comfortable and I felt so fabulous in it. I received a ton of compliments from friends and random strangers at the event. I rented the dress for my husband's company Christmas party. This year's theme was a masquerade ball so we decided to go all out. I rented the 16 Petite because the 16R  was not available. I'm 5'4'' and the 16P just brushed the ground in my bare feet. Luckily I found a pair of dressy flats that worked perfectly with the dress and it didn't look too short even though I don't typically wear petite sizes. I loved that I could wear a bra with this dress. I wore nude colored spanx because this dress is very fitted through the hips and even though the back is sheer, you couldn't easily see a difference between bare skin and the line where the spanx started so it was no big deal. This was my first ever rental from RTR and I am SO glad I tried it out!

This dress fit like a glove!  It hugged my curves in all of the right places, and was totally gorgeous and flattering.  I received so many compliments all night long.  If you have curves, you will love this dress!

The fit was perfect. I ordered a size 4 regular and size 6 long. The 6 long just fit nicer with the shape and length, as I'm 5'9 almost 5'10. The gown was a big hit, everyone loved the gold lace detail on the back. I'd rent it again, but gotta change it up for each ball!

This is one of the most amazing dresses I have ever worn. I'm 5'8" and with heels the 6L worked perfectly. The lace is actually a bit sheer, so be aware of that for whatever bra you choose. I'm a 34DDD and there was plenty of room for my bust, I didn't feel restricted or tight at all. The dress fit true to size and I got tons of compliments all night! I definitely recommend this for a black tie event, this was for a 20s themed charity gala. 

I had to wear 5 inches heels and it was perfect length. Very comfortable to wear, elegant and great option for a black dress with a little sparkle. 

This dress is great for busty women  have to wear bras with everything. Although the back gets so much attention it perfectly hides any straps or bra bands. This is always a big issue for me so I was very happy that it fit so nicely. With a three inch heel the gown barely kissed the floor so I wouldn't go any higher with the heels for regular length dress

Dress was perfect for a formal masquerade gala! It is true to size and fit perfect. The gold was the perfect touch to make me standout in a sea of all black dresses. 

This dress was as stunning on as it was in pictures.  Fit like a glove.  I didn't need anything under it to smooth me out and I usually do Spanx or something, but the material was thick enough to just hold you all in.  I know that others wore a bra with this, but I could still see the straps a bit through the back and so I went braless which was ok, because the dress really holds you up and in.  I felt gorgeous all nigh and would absolutely wear this again. Also, got the Long even though I'm only 5'6 and wore about 4 inch heels and it was perfect.

The dress is comfortable and easy to move in despite the mermaid fit. The only issue i had with it was the zipper would get stuck easily on the fabric chance in the back. Its extremely slimming. 

This dress fit like a glove!  I wore for a "black tie invited" wedding.  Material was great and did not wrinkle.  I am 5'1 and wore the petite with heels...perfect length!

The fit of this dress was perfect. It was also very comfortable and generally unrestrictive. The back is sheer gold lace, which does not lend itself to a normal bra. The long was great for my 6'0" frame and even allowed me to wear 2-3" heels.

I absolutely loved this dress. I didn't even have to wear a spanx (back is sheer, so I couldn't) the dress has some stretch and is very comfy. I have a BIG butt and hips and it fit great.  Definitely wear a skin tone bra. I'm only 5'1 and 180lbs so I'm short and thick and the petite fit was perfect with heels. 

 It ran a little big so I was glad I also ordered the smaller size. It was just snug enough over my chest so I did not have to wear a bra which was great. 

BEAUTIFUL dress.  Got compliments on it all night.  I'm usually a 4, but wound up going with a 6L because there isn't a lot of stretch in the chest area - if you're busty like me (30G), you'll want to size up.  Fabric is thick yet comfortable, no lines showing, and the gold lace top has enough coverage so that you can wear a regular bra and it won't show!  I'll definitely be renting this again for my next formal event!

Great fit. I wore it for a for a wedding in Uruguay. I felt beautiful in this dress. Comfortable to dance in. 

A good level of snug, I'm in between 4-6... Usually 6. The 4P was a good choice to really hold me all in and tight. Jewelry is important, I don't wear it usually... But the gold placement on the dress kind of makes up for my lack of jewelry. Also the back is really nice. Very slimming this one.

Very comfortable.  I am 5'0''.  Wore 4" heels.  Perfect length. Definitely snug fit around my hips.  But the 10 was too unflattering to me.  Other reviewers noted the see through ness of the lace.  Recommend wearing skin toned under garments.  For an evening event it was fine.  Dark enough setting for others not to notice.

Rented this dress for a formal event with dancing. There's not a lot of room to move in the shoulders, so limited range of motion for dancing! I wore 3 inch heels with the 12R (I'm 5'7'm) and I didn't trip over the bottom at all.
While pretty in pictures, this dress was too simple and not tailored enough for me... I found it more draping than fitted. The back is nice but I wish there was more interest to the front.
*In the dress I rented, some of the seams had frayed a lot and there were some tears in the lace but not too noticeable.

I love this dress!! It was quite form fitting but gorgeous...love the back details & the mermaid style silhouette. Tons of compliments! 

I loved wearing this dress. It's a great option for a strawberry figure like mine; it minimized the width of my shoulders, accentuated my waist, and added some flare in the hips. The sheer sections weren't as transparent as I was concerned they would be, although I would still recommend a stick-on bra. The dress was a bit shorter than I anticipated; I'd recommend folks taller than me go with an L size or plan to wear flats. I wore a kitten heel and felt the dress looked a bit short, but fine. This is a hip hugger, so I would order a larger backup size if you are wider across the hips. Fantastic choice!

This dress fit perfectly! I felt like the belle of the ball. Super classy with a hint of sparkle. It was long enough I could have worn tall heels, but opted for comfier sandals. This dress is perfect for any formal affair. 

I loved wearing this dress! I got the 4R and the 6P, ended up wearing the 4R for the fit but it was a bit too long (5"3 and 3 inch heels) . I was only disappointed in the quality of the dresses, I thought they would be more new looking but you could tell they have had some use. . .But all in all, it was an amazing dress! 

I LOVED the way this dress looked from the front, although slightly snug from a profile view, but nothing that I was uncomfortable wearing. I normally wear a 12 but since I knew this dress was form fitting I wanted to wear the 14R however it was damaged or not returned on time so I had to go with the 12. It looked great, but I would have liked to see if the 14 provided a little more room in the midsection. With that being said everyone loved it and I would consider renting again!

The dress fit just right and hugged all the right places. I loved the touch of gold on the front of the dress and the back is stunning! I did wear sleeves under the dress for modesty. Very comfortable 

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and it was perfect, received compliments all night long.  I am right at 5 feet tall and the petite length gown was the perfect length with 4+ inch heels.  I typically wear a size 10 in jeans but usually a 12 in formal dresses.  I had a regular length as a backup and it was way too long.  The dress is form fitting so I did wear SPANX.  I also enjoyed that I could wear a bra that matched my skin color and you could not see this through the sheer material on the back of the dress.  The dress also is a more substantial fabric, which I prefer as it held up well and did not wrinkle throughout the evening.  I did not get over-heated in it... even during a June wedding in Georgia.  It is very slimming and I felt great, even while dancing! 

I rented the 14R and I felt it was a little short. I like my formal dresses to skim the ground and this one was 2 inches short for me. It hugged all the right curves and I could wear a NORMAL bra! It was beautiful and perfect for the evening. 

Great forgiving fit, perfect for Military Ball. Fit true to size! Lace is not see through!
