I ordered the dress as it was one of the few formal options listed as petite. Since it was only available in a 16 petite, it likely would fit true to size if my true size were available (14P). 

I rented a stunning ball gown from Rent the Runway for my husband’s work party themed "Under the Stars," and it was a showstopper! The dress flowed beautifully and perfectly matched the magical theme. I received countless compliments throughout the night! It was not only gorgeous but also fun to wear. Renting was easy, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Rent the Runway for anyone looking to make a statement at their next event!

Wanted to buy this! Hugged curves in all the right spots, the low back was very flattering. Wore to a Hollywood glam theme black tie event and it was perfect.

I felt like a human disco ball. The way this dress caught the light and the silhouette was soooo good! Will definitely be getting this again.

I wore this to a “dreamers gala,” and the stars fit the theme perfectly. I am 5’8” and was afraid the long would be too long, but it hit just right with 2” heels. I felt elegant and the shape was flattering.

Wore it to a Dancing with the Stars Gala and got lots of compliments. I'm very cautious about my tummy and it covered it very well. 

Gorgeous gown, but I chose another for one of my cruise formal nights. 

Runs big, I wore a size down and it was still roomy. Not scratchy.

This was perfect for a cruise ship formal night. It flowed beautifully while dancing too! 

This dress is super flattering and easy to weather. It’s stretchy and comfortable other than the sequins being a bit scratchy under the arms. I needed a long to wear the dress with heels at 5’8”. 

The stars need to be touched up. A few of them were “wonky” and need to be reshaped and sewn back on   
All in all, it is a lovely dress. 

It was beautiful. I tried size 2&4 and they both fit well but wanted to have a little more room for I wore size 4. 

Seriously. What’s better than this dress?  Black sequins. White stars. Super comfy. Crazy amount of compliments. And I never write that. Because I think it sounds annoying. But this was really over the top. You will not regret this rental.  True to size. Perfect length for me and I’m 5’9 wearing 4 inch heels in this photo. 

I did have to tape my boobs up (34G), but the details were perfect and it wasn't too long that I needed high heels (5'7"). Backless and the front comes up all the way in the front to conceal tape easily. 

Be careful of the sequins if you're ordering multiple sequin gowns as I had to very carefully take them apart after shipping

I received 5 or 6 dresses and I was most hesitant about this one.  I LOVED it.  Wore it to a "space odyssey" gala and received compliments all evening.  

The hem is of a good weight for twirling around the dance floor. I usually wear an 18. I got this in a 14W and it was Perfect.

I loved how comfortable and easy to wear this sequined down was; it was the perfect choice for Holiday celebrations and New Year’s Eve parties. The sequined stars make this dress shine so uniquely and beautifully, I would absolutely rent again and recommend for any occasion requiring (or not!) a gown for dress code. I dressed it up and down utilizing different accessories and wearing a sweater with it for the more casual gatherings of the events. A must rent for star and sequin lovers! 

Absolutely loved the material and the dress stretched just enough to allow comfortable breathing. Was a show stopper and fun for any formal event!

This is a compliment I received as I am an author of a children’s book about a very bright Star. I wore a stick on backless bra and it was perfect except a little long in heals, I’m 5’2. It was a Black Tie event and I’ve never been complimented so much.

Seriously the most amazing thing I've ever put on. It might seem understated (no big frills, solid black except for silver accents), but trust me, it's fabulous in person. You'll sparkle the night away and have everyone's eyes on you. The cut and low backline is *chef's kiss*. It's also stretchy and decently comfortable--I ended up wearing it for a good 7 hours at a gala. Regular length was fine for flats. Loved it so much I booked a photoshoot in it.

Rented this for my daughter for prom, she absolutely loved it! She was such a rockstar!!

Loved this dress. Smooth fit. The bottom wasn't as flared as shown in the RTR model, but I liked it better with the smaller flair. The dip in the back was perfect. Wonderful for for my pear shape. 

I’m 5’10” and 175lbs, I ordered the 12L and it was fabulous. Really nice. I got compliments on it just like the other reviews said I would. It’s a thick and comfortable material and runs a bit large in the breast area, so bad for me but I know will be great for other ladies. Even so, the dress was still very flattering on me.  

This dress is so shimmery and fun! It definitely runs big. I am 5’7, a 34F and wear a size 14 pants/size 12 dress. (I refer to my body type as an hour-and-a-half glass) This is a size 12R and it’s def a big baggy, but not enough to be unappealing. The back dips low so don’t plan to wear a bra, I used boob tape and it was perfect. I wore 4” heels and the length was great. 

Super cute, fun flair when you spin, you can dance, jump with no worries of any wardrobe malfunctions, the sequins were a bit scratchy on my inner arms but not enough to make me want a different dress. 

This gown was actually my backup selection, but it couldn’t have worked out better! This dress stood out at an “all black affair “ the sparkle of the sequins gave it elegant quality.  It highlighted my toned upper body and large bust and was forgiving to my lower, less shapely areas. For reference, I am 5’7 and 208 lbs

Totally fun dress. Maybe I’ll revent it to be able to wear next year for somewhere in a holiday party. My holidays were gloomy with too many funerals, and therefore didn’t get to party in this dress.

Such a fun, whimsical gown! It runs large, and is stretchy so pretty comfy everywhere but armpit area. The sequins are a little itchy there.  The back is hot. 

Loved this dress for NYE! Quality and fit were 10/10. Would recommend getting the long length for heels! 

This was such a beautiful dress. I felt very elegant. I’m 5’3” and got a 4L. Was too long but I knew I was taking a chance. Also, didn’t have to wear a bra since it was very tight (in a good way) on the body. 

Such a fun dress! Wore to fundraiser ball/ black tie optional. Fit great, comfortable (low back so need low bra), lots of compliments! 

The dress is beautiful and fit great. I am petite and the dress was not too long.
