This dress is more lovely than the pictures present. I am a curvy 36DD. The front tie worked nicely with my midsection and was complementary. Nice material that is light yet solid. The only thing for me is that I don't have anyone to help me zip up the back. That was a little challenging but once I got it on it was perfect.. Would rent again
Definitely a dress to wear with heels. Dress looks frumpy/ little house on prairie with something more casual. Overall though very pleasantly surprised at how well the dress fits. Length hits mid calf and I do not find the neck to be too plunging.
The print and lace detailing ahead a fun edgy, yet romantic vibe. Would be cute with black lace up army boots. A size 10 wasn't available, so I did a 12, and thought it fit perfect and would size up again in the future. The tie wasn't done upon arrival, and I'm glad I noticed it was done in the pictures, cause it didn't seem obvious to me- but definitely needed it.
Nice transition to fall dress. Maybe not the most flattering, but would be nice if you are trying to hide a bump.
Fit beautifully. Wore it with a belt. Didn’t love the tie so I pinned the ends in.
I wore to work but it would be great for a day off, a park or outdoor event. It has a great cut and soft fabric.
Wore to a mahjong tournament. Dark red, black, with some lace but appropriate for daytime wear.
Lovely light silk dress! The dress is flattering. I loved the tied bow in front. The pattern and the lace insets are lovely. It is a sensible dress that you can dress up or down.
Would rent again ! Perfect for my event ! So comfortable !
Love this brand and the high quality fabric. This would have been a fall work dress but cut too low. Pinned it with a cameo brooch which made it wearable but a little off.
Too loose
I wanted to like this dress but it hides any shape. There was no way to use the ties to pull it in at all; in fact, they seemed to be part of the problem because they “gapped” a little at the waste. Argh.
Bit of a prairie vibe going on here.
It looks more old fashioned in person
It wasn't particularly flattering on me. The dress itself was cute, but not right. It isn't dressy enough for a party or casual enough for daytime.
It was a little more teachery than I anticipated
Love the way this fit on the model in the pictures, but felt that it was very frumpy in person. I am usually a 2 or 4 in dress size, but the 2 felt too big on me.. and then front ruffle was not flattering. Great quality and beautiful details, but disappointed in the fit.
Very small. Couldn't even zip it
After reading reviews, I was ready for this to be frumpy or bulky, especially being a short woman. The material was flowy and I enjoyed the Laura Engalls Wilder chic vibe of it. I found it to be flattering and lengthening. I wore this twice - once at work and once for a casual night out. I can see myself renting this again.
Fit great and true to size
Flattering, interesting, comfortable. Feminine but edgy. Would be good with sandals or boots.
loved the fit
The cut and flow of this dress is divine. The pattern is delicate and the lace accents were subtle. It is a long dress. I wore it for a baptism with kitten heels and then with sneakers and a denim jacket for a dressed down look.
The dress is a beautiful pattern with lace detail but runs large. I felt like it was a mumu dress on me.
PROS: This dress is very comfortable. It has very cute lace details which give it a little something different. CONS: It did not have as much shape around the waist as I would have liked. Made me look a little wider around the middle than usual. This may have been one that I should have sized down. Also, the neckline really plunges. But if you wear a bralette or tank underneath you should be fine.
Very little house on the prairie with a little more cleavage. It's a little big, I could probably have sized down to a 4. Perfect for a memorial service I'm feeling the knitting circle vibe this fall.
ran a little big in the chest and waist, but with the tie detail the extra fabric was masked.
This dress is attractive, but the size ten on me with a 31 inch waist was too generously sized to look right. I will need to try a size down -- an eight, to see if it will fit.
I paired the dress with a cardigan because on it's own it felt a bit frumpy and reminded me of something my kindergarten teacher wore in the 80s. But with the cardigan it looks nice for work.
This dress was just OK - a little tight around the arm pits but perfect everywhere else. It was a little too sexy for the office, to stuffy for a date night, too formal for life, and too casual for a cocktail party.

The dress was pretty and flowing. The tie front is cute but there are extra flaps of fabric around the sides that are just there. Because of the dark pattern, they aren't very noticeable but I didn't like it

Just right
Loved this dress but it runs a bit small and the photo doesn't show the little flaps in the front which are NOT made for a more curvy girl. Definitely the dress for you if you need a little more flair in your slim body.
Length and roominess around stomach make for an awkward fit. Print is cute and lace detail is nice though.
Fabric is a little stiff, and the overall effect on me was matronly. I'm a size 12-14 with a D cup so that could be part of it. Wanted to like this more than i did!
Didnt like the way this looked on me
Made for people taller than myself. If the torso hadn't been so long it would have been more fun to wear.
I love Thakoon. I was excited to wear this dress, until it came. It's really frumpy and something a librarian or someone from little house on the prairie would wear. It's really not flattering.
I ordered this in a 0, but I found it to be too big. It was loose all over, which isn't necessarily a deal breaker, but the v-neckline also came down very low. The length was very unflattering on my 5'2" frame - not tea length, not maxi, just at a super awkward spot at the ankle. The print is pretty, but on me, this dress just looked like I was trying on a modern version of my grandma's nightgown. On someone taller, this could look great.
This technically fit me: it was fine in the bust and waist, but the skirt was a little too long/voluminous for my frame and just wasn't particularly flattering. Otherwise, cute print and well made. Would be a nice transition for Fall.
