I rented this dress for a wedding and got a ton of compliments! The color is really pretty for the summer and the style is just something you don't see every day. I will say it does run small, however. I usually wear a 4 and couldn't even get it over my hips. Thankfully I got the next size up as my second size after reading other reviews. I also rented the chamak by Priya Kakkar silver glitz bangle set and the laced with crystal necklace by Elizabeth Cole.....they set the dress off!

Usually a 2 and wore a 6 but this dress was a show stopper. I wore it to a wedding with Elizabeth Cole necklace and had a million compliments. The color is beautiful as are the layers of fabric. 

I was compelled to order this dress after it was featured in Time Out New York, without really considering how it would flatter my figure! It was extremely snug in the hips and loose at the bust, with the structured petals falling in places that looked avant garde to women, but incredibly repulsive to men (trust me, I asked)! Maybe the size 6 was just too big on my body, but towards the end of the night, I was paranoid the dress would end up bunching around my waist and cause some fashion mishaps! However the quality and color of the fabric was so stellar, especially with bright red lipstick, I want to believe that it just looks better in the smaller sizes!

Dreamy dress, beautiful color. Runs very small. Should have went a size up. 

This is a gorgeous dress, but I unfortunately could  not wear it.  In my entire life, I have never worn a size larger than size 2, however the size 2 did not come close to fitting.  The zipper could not make it up the side.  I should have ordered a size 4 or maybe 6.

Dress is gorgeous - incredible detail and structure - but i would not recommend it for someone who is pear shaped. It was too tight through the hips in both sizes I ordered, but my backup dress was gorgeous and fit perfectly!

Teeny tiny dress! It is a beautiful gorgeous dress and looks just like the picture but the size 2 (which I usually wear) could not get past my hips..or barely my knees! I am 33-25-36 and RTR didn't have any other sizes so I couldn't try the 4. My friend who is 5'2'' and a size 0 could not get it close to zipped but at least she got it past her hips unlike me haha If it was in my size I am sure it would get 5 stars. Order 2 sizes up (or more).

I usually run between an 8 and a 10.  The 10 was huge on me. I had to check to see if it was the right size! Beautiful dress, just too big for me. 

definitely snug around the rib cage area - a fun color.

The 8 was too big, so I went with the 6 in another style that I had rented.  I thought the fabric in the front added a lot of unnecessary weight to me.  Not sure I would have worn it out in the correct size.

this dress was dissapointing. its beautiful fronm the front but not flattering at all on the side view. im a 36D and the top was loose even with a push up bra it looked sloppy. the bottom skirt was not fitted at all making you look like a "bell" .... it looks way better in the pictures

I have been wearing 8s and 10s in dresses lately, but I thought this might run small so I ordered a 10 and 12. Well, the 10 was too big in the bust area on me—and I am a 34-DD. The waist was bit loose too; but the hip area was quite snug. I think the dress runs true to size on the lower half, but a size larger on the upper half.

I could not wear the dress it had tares in it and smelled like cigarettes  

Runs VERY small.  Very, very small.  I didn't care for this dress, so much in fact I never wore it to my event and wore something I already owned.  It was a waste of money.  Would not recommend it.

Great dress but because it ran small the zipper got stuck.
