Black Faux Leather Skirt

The skirt fit great. I modeled it in a fashion show and my look was inspired by the 1950's. I loved it and so did everyone else.

I got non stop compliments on this skirt. It was fun and flattering. My only complaint is there is no lining in the skirt. The laser cut detail can come up rather high when moving around and you can see right through it.

I love that this skirt has the cutout design on it to make it a little unique! It's the perfect length to wear anytime, but I think it is perfect for a night out! I would say it generally runs true to size, but if anything a little small. I'm typically an 8 or 6 in pants and this was just a little loose on me in the Large.

Wore this for work and then to a formal musical and reception afterward. Received so many compliments! I loved that it was work appropriate but a little edgy at the same time.

I have an hourglass figure so this worked really well with a fitted top. Love the detail.

Great fit. There is a beautiful detailing on the skirt; I recommend wearing it without tights, so the detail is more noticeable. I wore it to a work event with some leading digital influencers, I wanted to look professional yet chic/trendy. I wore it with wedged booties (was a winter event in mild temps) I do not have much of a waist so skirts are sometimes a little tough for me. I wear size 8 or 30 pants and am 5'8".

I am giving this skirt 5 stars even though the fit was way too snug. It was gorgeous. Soft, black leather and the cut-outs were impeccable. A truly beautiful piece. I ordered this based on other reviews and matching some of the body types, weight, etc., I thought the L would fit okay, but it was so tight and small around my waist it was hard to wear. But I only had to keep this on for a few hours and it was all a standing reception, so it worked okay, but I was happy to get it off! So for my fit Zero stars, but for the quality and beauty of the skirt - FIVE

This skirt is amazing. The lace cut outs are flirty, but don't push the envelope. I'm all about wearing pieces that are multi-functional, so I was able to wear it to work and then catch a magazine issue party right after. While at work I wore it with standard black pumps. but changed into suede booties for the party.

The inside of the skirt is soft suede, making it very comfortable to wear. The cutouts add a touch of femininity to the black leather. The flare of the skirt is so pretty!

Wore for clinical for Valentine's Day. Super cute!

This skirt is gorgeous. I rented it for a fancy dinner, and it did not disappoint. I took off one star because it runs a half to a whole size small... good thing I had my Spanx tights with me!

I studied the reviews as I do for every garment I rent, and so many reviews on this skirt said the waist is snug and recommended to size up. I usually wear an XS/0 so I ordered a small, especially since I tend to be larger in bottoms than in tops. My experience was that the waist was waaaay too big for me! It sat low on my hips and didn't give me a defined waist the way this skirt is meant to be worn. The pic shows the waistband of the skirt on me (don't worry, that wasn't the top I wore with it!). As always, make your own judgements based off of the reviews you think are most relevant to you, but I should've stuck to my size.

Super cute skirt. I wore it with tights to work, although I'd love to rent this again in the summer so you can see the detailing better. I got quite a few compliments on it.

I wore this to a holiday party and got compliments all evening! I read some other reviews that recommended sizing up, so I got a M instead of a S and that was a mistake! It was quite loose in the waist, a S would have been better. I added a belt to make it work, but would have preferred a more fitted waist.

Great fit, makes for a fun outfit! The laser cut out is a little on the high side, but I was wearing tights so I felt a little more covered up.

This skirt was the PERFECT rental. In one weekend, I had three events- a Board meeting, a holiday party, and a fundraiser. I wore this skirt to two of the three events with different tops and it TOTALLY fit the bill. I usually wear a size 6 in jeans/pants. I have a small waist but have a booty and thighs, and this skirt nipped me in my waist and gently covered problem areas on my bottom half. I paired it with a silky green top one night, and a red/gold halter on another night. It was great to be so versatile. HIGHLY recommend!

I love this skirt, so much that I bought it. I was intrigued by the photo, but a little worried that it would be too long or too large for me, but it was perfect. The (laser?) cut outs really make it special. You can dress it up or down depending on the top. I got lots of compliments when I wore it to work with a black and white striped long-sleeved boat-neck knit shirt tucked in and red heels. I'm going to try it out with fancier tops and possibly wear it to a fundraiser where I think the main event is casual (at Madison Square Garden), but there's a smaller cast-party afterwards that is a bit more "festive."

True to size & very flattering... Only thing worth mentioning is that the perforated holes went a bit high up in the front (especially when sitting down). Still felt like it was tasteful, but for those who are more on the conservative side, might want to consider tights or a slip.

The waist is a little snug, but not unbearable. I have a 36" waist for reference, and I'm usually straddling the line between medium and large for skirts. If there was an XL option and I was trying it on in store, I think that I would have tried the XL just to check but would have ultimately gone with the L still. The length hits just below my knees when I stand. I find that this skirt is a unique workhorse, and I was able to pair it with almost everything in my closet when checking the practicality of buying it. It became very clear to me that this skirt will look great all year long. The material feels amazing both on the outside and inside, and the faux leather looks expensive and flawless. The laser cutouts make the skirt just the right amount of sexy, almost like a pleasant little surprise compared to the length and silhouette. Everything about this skirt is perfect for my style, as I can go anywhere from extremely feminine to extremely edgy and anything in-between, and this skirt fits every little notch (including the casual and dressy versions). It's very rare for me to love a clothing item so much that I HAVE to have it. This is only the third item that I've encountered in my entire life that I knew I'd be heartbroken if I departed with it.

Everyone at work had to stop me & admire my skirt. It fit beautifully & had just the right amount of flirt. However, if you are going to wear this to work, I would suggest you wear black tights or a slip underneath because the lace portions are see thru:)

Wore this to Thanksgiving with family and it was the perfect balance of casual while also being a really cool statement piece. Very little stretch to the waistline, so be warned that you might need to unzip after a huge turkey meal! ;)

Paired with a chiffon style blouse tucked in, black tights and high waisted - got so many compliments. It was a little tight around the waist but not unbearable. There isn't a lining, but the cutouts weren't very noticeable with my black tights. However, I could understand hesitating to wear to work if you're in a conservative industry.

Wear with opaque tights if wearing it for work.

Slightly large and the cut outs are high on the skirt so i had to wear a slip to make it work appropriate, but really classy leather skirt.

It did feel like a lot of fabric - I could see if I was hourglass this wouldn't look as good.

Very nice, good quality skirt, but beware - it has no lining which means that the lace detail reveals your legs almost up to the crotch! I wish the pictures showed that better, because I rented this for work. I think I may still be able to pull it off with a pair of black tights, but I would not wear it with bare legs. I still gave it good reviews, because it is very pretty and has nice detail, but I truly wish the manufacturer included a black, thin liner underneath the lace.

I really liked the skirt-- but where the cut out falls is pretty awkward unless you are wearing tights.
