I wore this to a party and got several compliments.  The dress runs large--I went down a size from my  normal 4 to a 2.  I still added a belt to cinch the dress and give it better shape.  That said, I liked it a lot for a night out.  It was very comfortable and felt flattering.  No itchiness from the sequins at all. Wore a normal bra (and black sheer hose).

It was a fine work dress for the kickoff to an art and light festival we were putting on in Florida 

Felt great in this and sequin wasn’t scratchy. The dress wraps and drapes in the front. It does come up a bit high, so I found an opaque tight helped ensure I wasn’t showing anything I didn’t want ;) 
I’m between a 4-6 depending on brand and for this the 6 was it. The 4 body proportions were significantly shorter and the waist line hit so awkward that went with the 6.  The drape in front is cut low so you’ll want to ensure a lower cut bra. I’m a 32dd and hourglass so fit is everything— Tanya Taylor came through on this stunning number. 

Rented this as a backup for a NYE wedding and didn’t wear it. Not as flattering as I’d hoped it would be! I’m normally a 6, but this was big around my waist and made me look wider than I actually am. 

I rented this for a girls' weekend in Vegas and it was perfect! Great fit, very festive and the right amount of skin showing. Highly recommend! 

I was super worried at first this would be too short on me with heels on, but it wasn't. It was perfect. Also, super comfortable for a formal work event. There's a clasp in the front to cover extra cleavage and enough fabric in the center to not be too tight in the wrong areas. The camo sequins are a perfect subtle touch too for some fun and sparkle! 

I wore this for a birthday celebration and received so many compliments! It's very well made. An attention grabber for sure. 

This dress is very well made, high quality - full sequins done classy. The blue/silver was a really unique elevated look. Originally orders the 6 and went down to a 4. Didn't give 5 stars bc I felt the waist was slightly awkward and not the most flattering but could be where it hit on my torso. Skirt is faux wrap which made it pretty short depending on movement/position. just FYI as I didn't realize that based on previous reviews. 

I wore this dress for hosting a weekend at a comedy club. SO comfortable. No spanx needed. Wore a regular bra. It's a show stopper!

Such a fun sparkly piece. got compliments all day / night. I sized up because I'm pregnant but it still ran a bit large through the chest and the waist, but looked super cute with a belt 

Rented this for a New Years Eve party and loved wearing it! Perfect for a festive occasion or theme party. The waist was big on me (I am usually size 0/2) and I ended up pinning the waist on both sides, so would recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. 

I wore this for my 24th birthday and it was a huge hit! If I didn't already have pictures in it I would wear it again and again forever. It was so flattering yet sexy! 

Amazing amazing dress! Was dubious because I've always equated sequins with not being flattering but this dress is SO flattering, SO comfortable and is so much fun! Was getting complements our entire night out in Vegas. You can wear a regular bra with it, and if you need/want to wear hose the skirt is long enough to cover any sort of control top. Can't wait to rent this one again!

Loved wearing this dress. So easy to wear. So many compliments. Sequins didn't rub and the hook/eye closure at chest made me feel like I didn't have to constantly check if my bra was showing. I'm usually a 4 but RTR only had a 2 and it fit great! 

Wow obsessed. I haven't rented something from Tanya Taylor that I haven't absolutely loved! This dress fits so well. I had an 8 and probably could've done a 6 but the 8 still looked great and was so comfortable! 

I loved this dress! I ordered and 8 and a 10, the arms were right on the 8 but the rest fit perfectly, the arms fit on the 10 but it was a little roomy in the torso area, thankfully with the style you couldn't really notice! I felt warm, and so sparkly! I received compliments all night, I wore this for an evening out on my birthday! 

There is a hook if you want the v-neck to be more or less revealing. I did use the hook, but, still felt like it showed plenty of skin without being too much. 

The sequins in the middle seam rubbed and left a mark on my stomach, but other than that, great dress! SHORT, but covered everything. 

This dress was so fun! Flattering and comfortable. Fit tip: I rented both the 10 and 12 and ended up wearing the 12 because of the fit in the shoulders. 

Fit perfectly. This was a sequined camo super 80s dress and I LOVED it! Wore it for my 50th and retirement party and went out with a bang in this number. So happy I grabbed this as a backup. Thought it would be a hit or a miss but nothing in between and it was a huge hit. Tons of compliments and people asking to borrow it!

I think I could have gone with a size 8 but fit pretty well. I have a large bust and carry weight in the middle and this dress helped camouflage all that. Received compliments all night! For sequins was pretty light and I wasn't hot! 

I want to buy this dress but I might have to resend it in a size four. I used it for my dj promo photoshoot Nd to wear to the club on the weekend. Lonely sillhouette and shoulder shape. 

The sequins are incredible. Really a jaw dropper.

Would buy this if I had more glam things to go to. Love the fit. Very flattering. Not too low. Just right. 

I need this in my closet. I felt like a celebrity walking around all night. Not only was it comfortable it was so flattering. I loved the sleeves and cut of the front.

wore this for a random Tuesday night date and have never received more compliments (wore with the belt). felt like a BOSS. typically I wear a 4, but depending on the designer I wear a 2, 4 or 6...this fit perfectly except it was slightly loose around my hips/waist. I tried to find a safety pin but did not find one.  
PSA: lighting a bit off in the second photo, tried to brighten it up a bit but didn't work like the pros do it

This dress is very figure flattering , especially if you have curves. I'm between an 8 and a 10 and this fit like a glove. 

Good fit-not too showy (cleavage or too short) which is good because it already attracts the eye because of all the sparkles/sequins!

The fit was great. I could have worn a 10 but I think the 10 would have been too short for me.  The 12 was comfortable.  I was a little self conscious of the front because it gets shorter where it gathers.  The puff sleeves were to die for. Neck line was not too low for me.  I felt amazing in this dress!  Definitely recommend this one to people who want to where something glamorous and edgy. I am 5'6", 175 lbs and I wear a 36D. I am not petite but I felt amazing in this dress.

The dress was surprisingly very comfortable, lightweight and gorgeous! The sequins were soft and didn't get stuck on anything like other sequin dresses do sometimes. I sized up because the arms were a little tight and where the dress crosses in the front was a little too short in the smaller dress size. Forewarning, the cleavage area was low cut for me, there is a clip, but I used dress tape to keep it up. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with this showstopper and would absolutely rent again! 

Loved the style of the dress. Kind of reminded me of an 80's retro vibe with the bolder shoulders and split skirt. I would say this dress runs true to size or large. I typically wear a 12 or 14 and the 12 fit great. This dress has no stretch though. I have bigger hips, so I was a little self conscious of the split it the front as my hips made it a little more split in the front than what I was comfortable with. It has a very thin lining, but I wore a black shaping slip underneath so I wouldn't worry about flashing everyone and it worked great! Great length in the back and I did pin the top so I didn't have too much cleavage (I am a 38 F and had plenty of room). Color is also a blue/gunmetal and silver. Gorgeous dress and would rent again!

Great quality. Got tons of compliments. Works well for curvy girls. I sized up just to make sure it worked on my hips. Probably was a little big up top, but the clasp on the chest is a nice touch. Just used a little fashion tape to keep it secure. 

The 10 was really short, specifically in the front/middle (where you don't want it to be extra short) and the sleeves were very tight and had no give. I couldn't even get my arms in. I also got the 12 since I am in between sizes but the top half was too big in the waist and looked boxy. My first time with RTR ended up being a waste of $100.
