I'm normally a size 6 and could have used a size 2! I safety pinned the straps to make it work but I definitely recommend sizing down 2 sizes at the very least. 

I did wear this dress and loved the fun color and high slit on the leg. It was surprisingly too big for me, I would have felt better in a size smaller. I may rent again, but will definitely be getting the next size down. 

I rented this for a music festival. I loved it but it was HUGE.  The slit went all the way up to my hip bone and I had to pin it down. The tie up was also to big hence my bar showing. Size down for sure! 

Runs a little big, wish I had sized down. But soooo comfortable and color is amazing. 

It definitely runs HUGE, but I highly recommend this dress as a fun swim cover-up type piece! It is gorgeous and works so well as something to throw on at the beach

This is a keeper!!! I actually loved it so much I purchased it. You can not go wrong with this dress. I could have had the smaller size but it was unavailable. I  would say this one is true to size.  So many compliments. Everything about this dress is perfect.

STYLED: Royal blue tasseled earrings & nude heels FIT: very loose fit, size down one size, low cut in the front and sides, didn't wear a bra but had to wear pasties! Dress is also pretty long if you are under 5'5' or under. 
FABRIC: Slightly sheer, very flowy, gorgeous yellow and royal blue print.

I love with everything about this dress. Can be worn in so many occasions and multipurpose, over bathing suits, as a summer long dress over shorts and jeans. Beautiful color, very well made overall stunning. 

I had my eye on this dress for a long time but never really had anywhere to wear it in the boring Midwest. Then I planned a Caribbean honeymoon and knew this was my chance! I wore this dress multiple times because I just couldn't get enough!  The slit is pretty high but sexy and manageable. I usually wear a 6 and the 4 still had some room so definitely size down! 

I got SO many compliments on this dress! It definitely runs big. I ordered my normal size (6) and then a size below (4). I wish I would have ordered the 2 because even the 4 was bigger on me! The slit is very high so be careful it it's windy! Regardless, it was still perfect for a fashion show charity event!

Great sundress for everyday.  It flows nicely just be aware that there is a slit that is very high.  I wore the 2 but had to cinch it in a few places so it would fit.  The zero would have been better.  This dress I would get the smallest size you can for your body type.  

This is an amazing dress ! It runs way too big though. I am usually an 8-10 and I sized down to a 6 and there is still a lot of material! The colors are so bright and it was very comfortable for a wedding!

I have had my eye on this dress for awhile and finally decided to give it a try for a summer beach wedding. I followed the advice of other reviewers and sized down to a 2 (usually I'm a 6). It was still huge. I used one safety pin to pull up the front so that it looked more like a halter and then two more on the slit and it was like a new dress. You couldn't see the pins at all with all the ruffles and I was totally comfortable all night. There's no way I would have been able to wear it otherwise.. the slit is insane and it's super low cut. If you're willing to put some work in, this dress is killer!

Loved the color and the ruffles. Be ready to make some alterations. I'm 5'10 and normally a 10/12, but had to wear the 8 and it was still big. Slit came up above my waist and I had to use 2 safety pins to get it to stay closed. Very low cut and the straps are long. Had to tie the straps together at my neck. 

I rented this for a special night out with my bf. It was really fun to wear. I'm not sure it was 100% my best look because it ran large and the top makes a bra situation hard. But I still thought it was a beautiful dress and he loved it. I would get two sizes smaller than normal if I were to rent again ;) 

I had to basically alter the dress entirely with safety pins as it was huge and long. It pulled together but look at the size feedback before ordering!

Great dress. Major slit that's not shown very well in RTR photos. Came up almost to my hip but the dress is super flowy so you only get peeks of it every now and then. Tons of compliments!

I was 38 weeks pregnant and this dress fit great! I had to safety pin the slit quite a bit but it wasn't noticeable at all and was comfortable and loose around my bump. Highly recommend it!

This dress is beautiful, but the color didn't work well with my fair skin. The slit was super high and my underwear showed when the wind blew. 

The color of this dress is stunning! Overall the fit does run a bit large. I got away with wearing a 2 when my usual side is a 4 or 6. I had to safety pin it behind the neck so that it did not hang too low on my chest and reveal my bra. The slit on the leg is a bit high, but I think that was my favorite aspect of the dress. It gave some sex appeal to a standard Maxi. You can easily get away with wearing a strapless or racer back bra with this dress. Overall I loved this dress and received so many compliments!

I have been renting from RTR since 2011, and this is hands down one of my absolute favorite rentals. I MUST own this dress at some point. I received countless compliments! So festive for the Cinco de Mayo wedding I attended. I am 5'9, 194 lbs, and a solid size 12. I went with the reviews and sized down. The 10 was too big, but the 8 fit perfectly. Probably could have even worn the 6. So SIZE DOWN! The length was perfect even with heels. I did pin the slit a little so that it didn't open quite so high when I walked and sat down. It made it a little more appropriate for a wedding, but if I were to wear this on vacation or another occasion I would have worn it as is! Sexy, yet exotic and classy! The dress looks expensive, is simply one of a kind, moved beautifully and was SO comfortable. I am a 36DD and could have gone without a bra, but decided to wear a strapless bra. Do yourself a favor and rent this dress! 

Omg did I have funnn in this dress! I wanted to twirl around in it all night long and felt super glamorous just sitting and having drinks. 

It RUNS VERY LARGE. I took advice of others and ordered one size down, but it was not enough. In the pictures shown, I had to employ a few stitches to take it in a little. I'm usually a size 4. I wore a size 2R. I think even a size 0 would have been too large. 

Also beware...the slit goes up above your crotch. Turns out my underwear was showing in quite a few pics. Not the biggest deal if you've got a like-color pair to wear. But be ready to be bold. 

I wore this to a Beach dinner in Cabo, its super flowy but the front tie and leg slit give it a sexy edge. I usually wear a 6 but order the 4, honestly it would have been better if I had gone down a size more because I had to use a safety pin to cinch in the waist! 

It ran a bit large I am usually an 8 and even the 6 was a little big but it still fit well. I couldn't wear a regular bra though so I opted for a bralette. A strapless would probably work too but it was pretty low on me. It was a cute flirty style but the slit...man oh man. I had to hold the dress all night long when I walked, stood up, sat down. It is a very revealing slit!

Incredibly comfortable and killer color for a Bahamian wedding. I received so many compliments, great dress for dancing the night away. Definitely runs a little long and has a deep neckline but I loved the fit and ease of this beautiful dress!

I loved this dress and it truly lived up to the hype all the other reviewers gave it. My only recommendation would be to size down (probably 2 sizes). The dress is flowy so you don't really have to worry about it hugging the wrong places, but in my case (since I only went down one size) I was constantly pulling it up. I am 138lbs and 5'9 and wish I would have rented the 2 instead of the 4R. Also, if you're not at least 5'9, the dress is super long and it may present a challenge. The slit goes super high. If I were going to a wedding or any place I wouldn't have wanted to worry about it, i probably would have pinned the slit some. The material is forgiving and that probably would have gone unnoticed! Highly recommend! Such a fun piece! 

I wore it wine tasting and it was perfect. It does run large and is also really long so it dragged on the ground even though im 5'7 and had 3 inch heels on. The way the straos lay on the bacj made me skip out on a bra

Overall fits true to size, if anything a little big.  On the longer side -- im 5'10", had a 2 inch wedge on and the edges drug just a bit.  Also not seen is there is a large slit that if you dont watch out could show some a good bit more than intended.  Although was easily avoidable with a safety pin. 

Loved the slit, so beautful and classy. Very light weight and never wrikled. Wore on a company yacht trip in the islands. 

I loved the pattern of this dress and it was very pretty if i was standing still but the fit was way off and the slit was ridiculous.  I'm a solid 4 but ordered a 2 based on other reviewers stating it ran big and the dress was still huge on me.  I could have easily worn a 0 in this dress and in no world am I that size.  Beyond that, the slit was so high that I could not walk in it without my underwear showing (seriously).  If you order this dress (because it is so so pretty), make sure you have plenty of safety pins or tape to close the slit.  I did not have any and it made for an awkward evening of me holding the front of this dress closed every time I needed to move. 

I love the dress eventhough it was little difficlt to figure out the right self adhesive bra to wear with it and thw split is very high, bit it was mot an issue. I wore a size smaller and if was better fit, still loose but that is the way the dress it. I had fun wearing it.

Easy to wear, perfect length with flats. The shape of the dress and the cut is universally flattering! Will definitely rent again. 

Only con - the slit is VERY high. While it looks great, be careful with walking/sitting to not expose 

What a fun wedding dress! I did have to pin the straps so the chest didn't fall so low and pin the slit on the right side so I didn't show the wedding guests my everything while I was breaking it down on the dance floor. I wore 3 inch block heels and the dress was still a good length and flowy. I got a ton of compliments on it and it was a pretty big hit with my man so I definitely would suggest this for a sunny wedding!
