I wore this for Valentine's Day and I absolutely loved it got so many compliments

After every single friend on the trip told me I HAD to buy this dress…I listened. Wore to wineries but could be dressed up or down. Very heavy weight to it. 

Loved this dress! I would say it definitely call it a midi so if you are short, beware! I typically wear a small in dresses but in Staud, I size up. I had to struggle a bit to get it past my chest. But once it was on, it was perfect! Material is heavy and well made.loads of compliments!

I am 5'8" and 150, fit beautifully in a medium. I did wear spankx and nipple covers but the coverage was great.

This dress is incredible. My third time renting it and my husband begged me to buy it because he loves it so much. Stunning color and thick material. Very flattering. Rent this!

I am 5'4, 34-25-39, 134 lbs. I ordered an XS as that was all they had in stock and it was perfect! It's stretchy and molds to your figure. I will definitely rent again.

I loved this dress, but as others have mentioned, the straps are really long. I used fashion tape to keep them in place, but was unable to wear a bra due to it showing on the sides and the back.

Runs a little big but still stunning. Need to use some tape to help hold up the dress so the straps don't stretch too much

Saw this on a model while I was working as a waitress. I went crazy for two months looking for it and then i searched STAUD RED DRESS. It came to me like an epiphany. 

It fits exactly how you think; however, the straps tend to slide off. Get ready to use fashion tape. In terms of cut, I highly recommend a demi-cup bra, tape, or commando.
I’d love to own it, but before I do, I’m curious to see how a size down would feel. 

The fabric lays so well and felt really high quality!

I’m smaller chested so the straps were a little loose, but other than that, the dress was perfect! It was just the right amount of snug. I’m glad I opted in for a second size and sized down!

Love this cut of Staud’s dresses. So flattering. I’ve rented in a a small before which fit my waist better but the medium is more comfortable on my bust

I can not rave enough about this dress! It fits like a glove; sexy, but elegant. The shade of red is absolutely gorgeous and the fabric is comfy.

Really liked this but straps were too long and not adjustable. 

I wore this dress on vacation. Here’s what I liked about it. The fit is super snug but not unbreathable.
I loved the material, I like a fine knit fabric. I loved the color.
Only thing I didn’t care for was the sleeves. They have no stretch, which usually is good! But the sleeves kept falling down. At one point I was wearing a zipped up jacket and underneath the sleeves were fully at my elbows. If I zipped down my jacket I would have been fully exposed haha. 
Keep in mind I have slanted shoulders so this might just be a me problem. 

I really loved the color of this dress—it’s the perfect, vibrant red and feels fun and eye-catching, especially for vacation. Overall, it’s a cute piece and definitely stands out.

That said, the fit was a bit tricky. The straps aren’t adjustable, and I found they kept slipping off my shoulders, which was frustrating throughout the day. I’d also be cautious if you have a larger chest, as the top didn’t feel very supportive or secure.

The fabric is also quite unforgiving—it shows every little bump, so it may not be the most flattering depending on your body type or what you’re comfortable with. I didn’t feel like I had the right shape for it while wearing it.

All in all, I liked the look of it, but the fit issues would probably make me hesitate to rent it again.

Super sexy knit slip dress. Not for modest ones.

This dress was cute overall. The material is good quality and I liked that I could get away with not wearing a bra. However, the material is quite heavy and I was constantly adjusting the straps throughout the night to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. A bit of fashion tape might have alleviated that issue. 

I tried this dress on in store and the small fit perfectly, but this was so tight I could barely get it over my shoulders. It seemed to have no stretch throughout the chest. Would still try in a medium though I’m worried the straps would be too long as the straps I tried on were already a bit long

I’ve worn the same dress in the green ombré. Great fit - feels a bit snug going on, but beautiful once it’s on. Pleats hold nicely (may need a bit of steam if packed in luggage.) Gorgeous, heavy material!
