Rented for my baby shower in mid January in Michigan. It was raining and chilly out that day, this kept me warm in and out of the house in a heated tent. I felt that this sweater was casual but also dressed up my look a little bit. I wear with a simple black shirt underneath and maternity pants. I felt that this made my eight month bump looks so cute! 

Rented this for a east coast fall vacation & and it provided warmth in 50 deg weather & the perfect pop of color! Great to wear a bright color for a coat! Medium was perfect for wearing two layers underneath. If I didn't need all those layers, small would have worked fine.

Rented this for Xmas week in NYC and loved it. It's more of glorified sweater than a coat, but it's surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is. The buttons felt a bit flimsy, like they may fall off easily, and there was a gap at the bottom when I buttoned it (see photo) but when I left it unbuttoned it looked perfect. 

You can pair this piece with anything - dress it up or down. I loved it for work and weekendwear. 

Slightly itchy so I wore with long sleeve under and it was perfect for the holiday season 

Very cozy sweater for winter. Loved the print and texture. Perfect for weekends and casual days at the office. 

This is a cute oversized jacket. Not too warm, but gives a good amount of warmth. It's slightly itchy, so it kept me from wearing it repeatedly.

Want to buy, this looks great with jeans and pretty much everything I wear! 

Fits perfect! The in person look of it is more casual and more like a cardigan. Decided not to buy it and didn’t wear it anywhere while I had it

I wore this to Thanksgiving and received so many compliments! So cute and perfect for the holiday season. A but itchy but the quality but that's to be expected for the quality. 

Really cute! Like others said, this is more like a heavy sweater, not a coat, but really you can wear it either way. And it runs large, but still looks good. 

Perfect for running errands over yoga clothes or casual comfy clothes - looks more put together and stylish without the extra effort. Also great for day-to-day overcoat for work. Got lots of compliments!

It is lightweight but still warm. Runs slightly big.

This was so comfortable as an outer coat in the California winter. Soft and cozy and roomy enough to wear layers underneath. It runs a little large which is perfect for winter but looks classy because of the length. 

Really enjoyed the color and pattern of this coat. I wore this as a sweater during the work day. Felt laid back and chic at the same time. 

This coat is actually a fairly thin fabric, but is SO comfortable and warm! I am usually a medium but ordered a small, and I have plenty of room to wear a long sleeve top underneath. This coat is so easy to wear, I loved it!

I received many compliments  when I've worn it with light denim and black jeans. I've worn it as a coat, extra layer, and sweater. It's easy to dress up and down. I decided to buy it because it's versatile. The one negative is that the sweater has little "pulls" or balls of fuzz on the sleeves. 

Love love love this piece. Light enough to wear inside. Warm enough to wear outside. Made out of great material. I did not want to send it back.

Wore for a Christmas wreath making party. Was so cute! Great quality and easy to layer. Tons of compliments. 

A little baggy and bulky to wear as a sweater all day but thin for a coat. Good for a fall or spring day in the 50s

Larger fit. A bit itchy if you don't have a long sleeve shirt underneath 

Comfy to wear.  Wore casual with jeans and dressed up with black pants.

From the length to the fit to the versatility (and pockets that don't add bulk), I'd love to add this piece to my own closet. The only thing that kept  me from purchasing it was that it was a little scratchy, but it's a perfect transitional layer: more put-together than a sweater but lighter than a coat. It looks great with black jeans and ankle boots or with my black Vince turtleneck dress, another RTR favorite.

Fits well but it does have sort of the oversized style to it.

Although the fit is boxy, it's not oversized.  I could button it, but didn't have much give as a result.  I wore this during the Christmas season.  Loved it!

I thought I could wear this to work all day, but it ended up being very warm (I live in CA, it's not that cold here). I also got a M as my arms are pretty muscular and I didn't want it to be too tight but I found the medium to be too big and unflattering. I would order true to size and not size up to wear a thick shirt under.

I had high hopes for this coat.   My vision was to wear it for a festive holiday in the city.  The medium was way too big for me.  It was not flattering.   I also was not that keen on the material.  It seemed cheap. 

This is not really a coat, it is like a heavy sweater. The material is not stiff like a coat and it is unlined and itchy. Love the color and plaid though.
