I wore this for a work party and it worked very well for that. It looked good and was comfortable.

The dress was true to size.  Loved that it had pockets.  

Wore this dress to my company's holiday dinner party.  Loved that I could wear a "regular" bra, and that the dress had pockets.  It was chic and comfortable all at the same time.  There was a little extra room in the bust - and I'm a 32D.

I loved this dress so much the 1st time I rented it that I ordered it again!  Loved it just as much the 2nd time.  Tons of compliments and I'm always a big fan of pockets.  Great for almost any event.

I wore this for a black tie optional event for work. It was perfect - simple and nice. Ran a little small. Glad I sized up for my second size. 

Love this dress.  I went with the smaller size but it was slightly tight around the ribs.  I did that because with my bust, the top was a little bulky but nothing anyone else probably noticed.

The top portion of the dress looks bigger hanging up than it really is. The 10 fit well, but has zero give when it comes to stretch. It's very fitted. If concerned about bust size, definitely order up in size. 

Fit was great, top has no stretch though so size up If anything! 

This dress was perfect for my two month postpartum body. I went with the 6 because my chest is larger than normal. It hid my leftover belly pooch, which was awesome! I felt great in it all night! Perfect for a formal garden wedding. 

The fit was true to size for chest area, but bottom was flouncy and forgiving. The dress was a unique and fun take on a LBD. Perfect for wedding attendance. I wore it outdoors for the first part of a hot night; the liner was a bit clingy in the hot weather, but overall the material was good for outdoors. Great for dancing! 

Loved the pockets!!! The length was perfect with heels and flats. It was a little snug on the top but I do have muscular shoulders. 

I wore this for a work related cocktail fundraiser, it was the perfect blend of sophistication for a nighttime event but still conservative enough to look very appropriate/nothing too tight or flashy. I wished the bottom was more white its actually white and cream stripes but all in all not a bad rental. A bit tight in the bust but the size up was kinda baggy in the waist so I sucked it up. I'm a 32F for reference and bust fitting is always an issue!

I received many compliments on this dress! I am the Catering Director at a prestigious country club. I wore this for a wedding I coordinated. It fit perfectly! Very professional and stylish! Great choice! Love it! 

This was my first RTR and it did not disappoint. It fit well and I loved the full skirt with pockets. The dress was well made and comfortable. 

This dress was adorable!  I ordered the 2 and 4 and opted to wear the 2, although the 4 fit too- just a little more room in the bust because of the darts.  This dress was very comfortable and flattering.  I was a little worried about it being too short since I have a very long torso and I'm 5' 10'', but it was just the right length- would definitely rent again!

Rented for my 13 year old sister to wear to church. She liked it a lot however she thought it was more casual than dressy (aesthetically). I thought it looked great on her and the stripes in the skirt are translucent and there's a liner under it. 

I wore this dress for my sister in laws wedding, the top was a little snug but I don't believe I would have worn a size up if I had an option.  Multiple people asked me about the dress and where they could get it!

This dress ran small for me. I am a 34B, 5' 4" and weigh 138 lb. I usually wear a size 6 or 8 but both of those were tight across back and chest. RTR was great and sent me the 10 for just cost of shipping. I'm 53 and my waist is not as small as it used to be, despite staying the same size, which may have contributed to the snugness of this particular dress.

It has pockets! I had an excellent experience with this dress as it was short enough to be cute and long enough to make dancing at wedding no problem. It's flattering to the waist without being crazy tight. The material is soft and obviously high quality. I had so much fun in this dress!

I had two events on the same day - my husband's grandmas birthday then a charity black tie event in the evening. I dressed down the dress for the day with minimal jewelry and low pumps. I got so many compliments!! The dress was snug around the chest area but it was bearable. I loved the overall fit for my hourglass figure. For the evening I had a black tie charity event so I added a nice necklace and switched to black heels. Again I received so many compliments on the dress. I was SO happy to have rented this dress. 

Love love love this dress! The only thing to keep in mind while renting this dress is that the top runs small. It is tight across the chest and around the shoulder. Otherwise a 5+ star dress, for sure!

I recommend ordering your size and the size above it.

This dress fits true to size and was great for a winter, evening wedding. It was a tiny bit short waisted on my frame but I wore it anyway and felt comfortable and stylish!

The dress was a little tight around my ribs. It was cute. I would have worn it, but my other dress was more comfortable. I suggest sizing up. 

This dress definitely runs small. I usually order 4&6 in similar styles & end up wearing a 4 in most. In this dress the 6 wouldn't even zip. The 8 fit well but was definitely tight around the  arms. Certainly not enough to not wear it but something to consider. I had my order shipped to a hotel in San Diego & RTW didn't disappoint .  It was at the hotel when I arrived.  Got tons of compliments!

The dress ended up working perfectly with both the fit and style for the occasion of a family wedding. My daughters told me about Rent the Runway so I decided to give it a try. We all ended up in your dresses! Once at the reception I complimented my niece on her beautiful black lace dress and she said it was from RtR! Your products were well represented on the ladies in our family. You make it so simple to return I will definitely order a dress from you again.😊

Loved this dress - super comfortable, very sweet and totally appropriate for religious services. Wore during springtime holidays. Initially was concerned the darker colors may be drab, however paired with the (rented) pink necklace the outfit could not have been more perfect. Could wear with a regular bra and was comfortable for extended wear time. 

This worked perfectly for working a trade show expo. I wanted to be cute, fun, comfortable and work appropriate ... As always Shoshanna is perfect for short petite girls with curves. One down side is that arm holes a little small!  

I would say this dress is true to size. I almost always take a size 8, and this fit like a glove. The top is a little tight as others have said, although on me it was perfect. If you have a larger bust, it could be a problem. I would suggest taking your second size one up rather than one down as suggested. 

Wore this to a premiere in Hollywood.  Loved it.  Fit amazingly well.  Thought I might need a 6 based on other reviews but the 4 fit just fine.

I normally wear a 4, but had the 6 backup and even the 6 would not zip up. I am a 34D so I think with a smaller bust it might be more true to size, but if you are larger in the bust, you may want to order two sizes up. Luckily I threw on a sweater and was able to wear it and loved the look! 

Fit great and was super comfortable. Loved the pockets. Received many compliments. 

The only thing I would change is the way the top fit. I am long waisted and the darts for the breast area were a bit high. I also wear a 34D so the arm holes were too tight and digging into me. Fit great in the waist, though--if you know you're a bit bigger on top, go up a size. 

This is great for a holiday party. The dress was a little bit shorter than I would prefer, and ran slightly small at the waist. I normally wear a 0, and definitely have gone with a 2 if they would have had it in stock. It also was tight under the arms and rubbed a bit throughout the night. But it looked great on and in photos - especially with some pearls!

I thought this was a cute girly dress to wear out for a date night to dinner and to see The Nutcracker. I ended up wearing the 0 even though it was a little tight across the chest. Besides that, the dress was adorable, very comfortable material, and overall very well made.  

Ordered a size 6 (my normal size) but wore the back up size 4. I have a smaller bust which is why I think that worked so well. I'd consider this dress "bump friendly" for 1st or early 2nd trimesters! I was 18 weeks pregnant, with a definite baby bump, but you could not even tell! Loved this dress and you can't beat the price. Wore it with black hose & black ankle boots. Also found a fun statement necklace to rent with it. Highly recommend!
