Gorgeous color, but ultimately not a very comfortable or flattering fit. The arms were very restrictive, which I didn't think would be a problem since I wasn't dancing, but it did make putting my shoes on and getting ready very difficult. The dress was also quite short and rode up throughout the night. I felt like I was constantly trying to shimmy it down but it continually creeped up, particularly when I was seated at dinner. If you wear any type of shapewear, it might show while seated. I did use the larger, back-up size which was more comfortable in the arms and hips, but I would not rent again. 

I thought the fit was true to size, and the dress was comfortable to wear. I received a lot of compliments and many people were wondering where I bought my dress!

I am 5'2, 155 lbs. I have a pear shape. The 12 fit nicely on the bottom but was a bit lose in the bust and oddly tight in the shoulder area. I love the look of the dress and it photographed well, but I was glad I chose to rent this item for a dinner and not a wedding. The material had ZERO stretch so dancing would have been tricky. 

I loved this dress but went with my back up dress for a couple reasons. I normally wear a 4, while it was wearable, it was pretty tight. The sleeves are small but okay for me, just wasnt able to lift my arms up past my shoulders. Overall I liked this dress a lot and may rent again (in a 6) for a wedding type function. My backup dress was more party style. LOVED the deep purple color!

This dress is so stiff, that I couldn't lift my arms straight out.  The fit around the body was perfect, so anything larger and it would have been too large. It was also very difficult to sit in.   I'd recommend skipping on this dress, unless you're just looking for something that you'll only be standing in.  

The color and style of this dress were classic and perfect for a fall wedding. My only complaint is that because it ran a little small the arms were SO TIGHT. There was no give in that lace. The sleeves themselves were tight to the point that I had trouble lifting my arms. Overall though I give this dress 2 thumbs up! 

Really liked the dress, the color and the lace were so nice and I got lots of compliments.  I was nervous about reading the arms were tight but they were only tight if I raised my arms above my head (not very frequent).  I'm 5'8'' and the length was perfect with or without heels.  Recommend! : )

I rented this dress for a Marine Ball. My significant other's grandfather is a veteran and invites us every year. It was actually a last minute change due to the temperature dropping so suddenly, but I LOVED the dress and am so happy I rented it. It is a deep purple color, that looked great with the fall colors- I wore black shoes with it. I am typically a size 2, and ordered the 4 for a back up size. I went with the 4. I could have gone with the 2, but the 4 was more comfortable and I could move around more. I also liked that I could wear a standard bra with it. I would highly recommend this dress, just order up!

This dress is just as beautiful in person. I agree with what the others have said about the arms, they are tight, like I needed my boyfriend's help zipping me up, and forget about trying to fix your makeup or hair after its on tight. Other than the tight arms, I had no problems with the dress. It doesn't stretch so choose your actual size, don't try to go down a size. And unless you are 6' tall don't expect it to be as short as the model wearing it in the photo. I am 5'7 and the dress was about 2" above my knee. I wouldn't have wanted it any shorter though, as sitting down it tends to ride up quite a bit. Overall I loved the dress and the arms certainly stretched out during the evening, but don't expect to be able to fully execute the YMCA in this dress!

I loved the way this fit! Although as stated by others it was a bit snug in the armpit area, it wasn't by any means an issue. I just couldn't go crazy waving my arms around in the air-- but I don't think at any point in the night I ever really needed to do that, haha. It's a very flattering, pretty little dress. I ordered the 6 as a backup since I was worried about the snugness in the arms, but I never even tried it on because the 4 fit so great. I definitely recommend this one, she's a cutie.

Beautiful dress, the color is very rich and pretty.  The lace gives it a more dressed up feel.  I wore it to an outdoor fall wedding, it was cool at night so for the reception I paired the dress with a fitted denim jacket & it looked awesome. The dress does run small & has no give what so ever, but it was still very comfortable. 

I was surprised how vibrant the color is on the dress when you see it in person. It's really stunning. The fit was great. I rented a 2 and 4, and ended up wearing the 4 because it gave me a little more breathing room than the 2. 
One of the things that was a bummer was the inability to lift my arms high - as many of the other reviews mentioned. Luckily, this was not the event where I was dancing and moving a lot so it worked out, but if you choose to rent this for a wedding, it may prohibit getting too rowdy!
Besides that, I really enjoyed this dress a lot and felt amazing in it!

Really enjoyed this dress for the most part.  The color was a beautiful dark purple.  The dress was mostly true to fit, however it DOES NOT stretch which is the only reason I couldn't give it a 5-star rating.  It may be a personal preference but I like for my dresses to have a little give to them for dancing and moving, whereas this dress made that a bit difficult.  In the picture I am the one on the right in the size 10 and my sister is on the left in the same dress in a size 6 if I remember correctly, just for comparative purposes.

Color was even better in person than in the picture. I opted for the 0 and the fit was perfect, very flattering.

Other reviews mentioned that the sleeves were tight and I wondered if I would encounter the same. I do not usually have issues with sleeves/shoulders - my arms and shoulders are narrow, so if anything sleeves will run large.  However, the sleeves were tight when I first put the dress on. After about an hour of wear, they gave a little and were less restrictive. Ultimately, they were definitely on the small side.

Length was perfect, hitting me just above the knees.

Based off the previous reviews I rented a size up and that was the one I went with. The sleeves were tight and a bit constricting, but the overall the dress was perfect. The color is gorgeous and I recieved a ton of compliments on it. 

As other comments have mentioned, the arms were almost too snug--but they worked. Otherwise the dress fit true to size. It was flattering and very comfortable and easy to dance in. I highly recommend it and would rent again!

Worr this dress to an outdoor wedding in Feb. It was unseasonably warm but this was perfect. The sleeves kept me civered enough so when the sun went down i was warm but never got hot.
The sleeves are on the small side so it was difficult to lift my srms above my head for dancing but other than that i really liked he dress. I would size up. Inam typically a 4/6 girl and probably could have wore an 8.

The dress fit as expected, and I'd read the reviews about the sleeves being tight. That said, I couldn't raise my arms above shoulder height. That was not the kind of tightness I was expecting. I received numerous compliments, but could not wait to get this dress off by the end of the night.

This dress was so comfortable to wear & felt great on.  I wore it for a friend's rehearsal dinner a few years ago, with plain nude pumps & gold jewelry. The sleeves are pretty but cover parts of my arm I am uncomfortable about.  The waist hit at the perfect place for me, to cover part of my stomach but accentuate the waist.  Big fan of this dress!  I keep looking back at RTR every few months to be able to purchase it!

Just like others have said, this dress has NO give and is very restrictive.  I could not life my arms or reach or anything.  I wore this to a NYE dinner, so it worked for my needs but if I had been looking to dance or do more than sit and eat, this dress would have been a problem. 

That being said, it is a really beautiful dress, does great things for a good figure, and I got a lot of compliments on my looks!

I wore this dress to a church Christmas event, so I had to be relatively modest, but I wanted something unique. This dress fit the bill perfectly. The lace was beautiful and the color was great! It was a great deep purple. I was concerned about the sleeves, as other reviewers said they were tight. The sleeves were fine for me, but the shoulders is where I struggled a bit. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I couldn't lift my arms very high - where even driving to the event was a little tricky! It didn't bother me all night though (as arms up isn't a super common thing for me to do, lol). If you need good upper body range of motion, maybe pick something else. But overall, this dress was a wonderful choice!

I wore this to a formal company holiday party. Initially I wasn't crazy about the color (stronger purple tone than the photo shows, and I usually don't wear purple) but it looked better on. It was very comfortable (no issues wearing it all night) and flattering. The lace gives it an extra touch of looking fancy without being over the top. I received several compliments!

This dress was perfect for a fall wedding. Color was beautiful and I️ was comfortable in it all night! 

I got lots of compliments on this dress, perfect amount of skin covered for a full Catholic wedding without feeling too boring. The arms were definitely a little tight, I ordered a 2 and a 4 and ended up going with the 4 simply because I couldn't get the sleeves all the way pulled up on the 2. The rest of the dress fit well but like many of the other reviews say, it runs a bit snug. The color was a very "true purple" and worked well for fall. All things considered it was a beautiful, timeless dress!

Love the deep purple color of this dress and the romantic lace. I wanted a dress that would work with cowboy boots since the wedding reception was in a barn -- this dress definitely did the trick! The 4 fit my 28" waist, 42"(ish) hips. Arms were snug, but not uncomfortable. Only thing to look out for is how the skirt rides up while sitting down.

The only issue I had was the sleeves were pretty tight. Other than that, I loved it!! 

This only comes in size 0 and 2 and the 0 was slightly large on me, as I normally wear a 00 or petite. The sleeves were not tight on me at all like many others said, but the hem did lift up pretty high when raising my arms. With my height, I had no qualms dancing through the night.

I loved the dress!! I was a bit afraid it would be short since I was attending a Christian Wedding, but it was the perfect length, just slightly above my knees. The lace is thick very high quality. Perfect lovely plum color ideal for fall. Loved it, I would highly recommend it.

I ordered the size I typically wear and a size up due to other reviews saying it ran small. I still ended up wearing the size 8 (typically I run between 6-8, but have a large chest). 8 was tight in the chest but still looked great!! 


I wish this dress had fit better, because it's beautiful in person. I rented the 0, and it fit more like a 4. I'm a D in the chest, and the fit in both chest and waist was more like a sheath, which was disappointing because I felt shapeless. Also, when you sit, the dress runs up and exposes about 2" of the liner every time. Otherwise, the color and detail of the dress are very pretty, and the dress is high quality. 

I loved this dress! The lace was beautiful and I loved the half sleeves. The photo was taken at sunset, so the purple colors look darker than it actually is. The coloring is definitely more similar to the color in the dress image icon. Maybe even a bit brighter. 

This was a perfect dress for an outdoor wedding. I got a little overheated during the day when the sun was hot, but it was perfect during the night.

I usually wear a 2, but went with a 4 on this one based on other's advice. I can totally see how the sleeves could be restraining. The chest was a bit too big on me, but wasn't super noticeable.

I would definitely wear this dress again!

Overall great color and fit for a fall wedding. Like other reviews, it is a little tight in the arms but besides not being able to lift my arms all the way up it didn't have any impact. The lace has a slight amount of wear but was not visible to others. It ran very true to size, was slightly shorter than I anticipated ending at mid thigh but overall a great choice. 

Loved this dress. Super comfortable. I was worried about the sleeves being too tight but they were fine. 

Want to buy this dress! Love it so much. Perfect cut, perfect color and gorgeous detail.

Great fabric, a little tight in the sleeves.  Ran pretty small - I would make sure to get one size up!

I received so many compliments throughout the night and felt beautiful while wearing it. I would definitely rent this again.
