I usually wear a size 6 but RTR sent a size 2. I barely was able to squeeze into it but I made it work! Very well made dress and very flattering. I wore it to a friend's wedding and received compliments. No complaints here! I recommend it. 

Fabric was nice but the dress overall was ill fitted.  I was right between sizes. The 2 was two small in my legs but fine in waist/arms. The. 4 was okay but could have been more fitted in the waist. Overall was just okay. Nothing stunning like other rentals in the past. 

I think its a great dress and fit my unusual shape well. 

Fit was good. I have a little belly so it was a little snug in the midsection area but dress felt and looked great. 


I ordered this dress as a last minute outfit option for a NYE party. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this dress. Very nice. As far as sizing, I normally wear a size 4 in dresses, so I ordered a 4 and also a size 6 for backup. I ended up wearing the size 6, because the lace in the arms is a bit tight and a little constricting. But in the 6, I was able to move (and dance) comfortably. The dress is a nice length, not too short.  This dress ended up being the perfect, last-minute, little black dress for me!

I was a little leery to rent this dress at first because there were a few negative reviews. This dress was perfect though and I would highly recommend this dress to anyone who is looking for something slightly conservative, but still sexy and feminine. I received many compliments and felt very beautiful. The dress was great and I'm considering buying something similar in the future!

Comfortable fit. The sleeves are gorgeous and not itchy like some lace sleeves. One of my favorite rentals!!

I thought the dress ran just slightly big. I usually wear size 4. Some brands 2. But on average size 4. The 4 was way too big. Size 2  fit but was still roomy. Should of ordered a size down. Would of liked to tried the 0. However the 2 looked great and wasn't uncomfortablely tight. Another plus to this dress is it didn't require jewelry. I debated on adding statement necklace but lace front so pretty I decided necklace would make it too busy. My friends agreed. Perfect LBD. Very classy. 

The lace made the difference for this little black dress.  Loved it, fit like a glove.  Would totally recommend for a nice affair!

I rented this dress for a homecoming speaking engagement. I felt very sexy and confident. Fit was flattering for the most part.

It was a tad in the snug side for my typical 8, so I sized up t the 10, which was a little roomier than I would normally go. Overall gorgeous dress. Really fun for dancing and drinks

Fit true to size.   While not skin tight fabric definately showed all bumps and lumps.   Once I put on shape wear it smoothed everything out.   Nice length, comfortable to wear.  

I was in between sizes (10 and 12) and opted for the 12 to make sure I was comfortable. It was a little large in the bust that I couldn't fill out, but otherwise was very flattering. I would wear this again.

First, let me say that RTR customer service is wonderful.  This is a beautiful and classic dress.  It was a second backup dress that was sent after the back up dress I wanted was not available.  The dress was very comfortable and beautiful.  I wore it to a work holiday party and it was perfect.  I'm 4'11" and the length was great right above my knees.

Beautiful lace sleeves and neckline.  Very flattering - balance of delicate lace with the strong structured bodice and skirt.  Would highly recommend!

This dress fit well and ultimately worked perfect for the event. It was a little more conservative than I would have thought from the pictures, but actually, it worked great.

this is a very pretty dress.  I ordered it for a holiday party and did not end up wearing it.  I'm 5'5" about 115 lbs and 30D.  I ordered the 2 and it was very large in the waist/hips.  However, I'm not sure I could have gone down to a 0 in the arms.  

Cute dress, but like the other reviewer said, very forgettable and it runs SO LARGE.  I'm usually a 10/12 and I feel like I easily could have fit into a 6.  The 10 was falling off me. I do have a larger upper body and my jeans are typically a 6, but I haven't been that size in any designer dress.  Thankfully I got this because my original rental was damaged, so I got a couple options.  Didn't even take the tag off.

Given the designer and picture of this dress, I thought it would be much better than it actually turned out to be. It's not the best material and was rather loose (to be fair, I'm typically a 2 and ordered a size 4 due to availability) 

The lace arms kept the dress modest enough for an office event.

The fit was perfect. The sleeves weren't too tight and the length was perfect! 

It was a very comfortable and flattery dress. There is no give in the arms, so be sure to get two sizes just in case. 

I rented this dress for a work event and it was a perfect fit.  I am 5'4 and the dress hit right above my knee, which was perfect for this type of event.  The only negative is the arm holes for the dress do not stretch so I had to slowly get them over my hands so that I would not rip the lace part of the dress.  Overall great experience and I already rented another dress!

I wore this dress for a winter ballet performance and date night with my fiance.  He loved it on me and was mad it was rented!  

I loved this dress, it was the perfect fit (size 12), super flattering on my hips/ thighs/ butt- which as a size 12 pants are usually the hardest part on my body to dress.  The lace on top gave a really pretty detail to jazz up a LBD- which was my favorite part. Unfortunately, I could not wear it to my event because there was an overwhelming odor in in the lace underarm area and I just could not deal.  It was a shame because it would have been perfect. RTR customer service was excellent, they refunded my $ for the rental no questions asked.  I'm a little disturbed that the dress smelled, not sure what to think about that- I think it could be the case that the odor may be permanent,  cleaning wont remove it and I am just the unlucky person to discover it.... and not that the dress was not dry cleaned after the last use before it was sent to me....  hopefully. 

It was very form fitting but not in a way that made you look fat. 

This dress is beautiful. I wore it to a wedding in NYC and it was perfect for it. I usually wear a size eight, but the top was a little snug. I wore the ten and it fit perfectly. 

The lace is beautiful. It fits true to size. 

 I thought the dress fit well overall. I typically wear a 2 or a 4 in dresses (I have an athletic build with a wider rib cage than normal). The size 2 fit perfectly, no issues with that! I wore this to a wedding and received many compliments. I would recommend this perfect little black lace dress to others. 

I had originally rented a different dress for my sister in law's wedding and found out 2 days before delivery that it was no longer available. Thankfully, RTR offered to send me any other dress of my choosing, so I chose this dress which was most similar in style to the original - I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this dress! The size 10 was perfect, fitted enough but also loose enough in the right places to allow for easy movement. I got so many compliments on the dress, it was perfect for a semi-formal evening wedding. I would definitely rent this dress again.

This dress fits true to size.  Delivery was on time and shipping was made very easy.  This was my first order and I would definitely order again.

I ordered this dress for a New York City wedding and absolutely loved this rental!  I am 5'7, 145 pounds and the 10R fit perfectly.  Although many reviews say the dress runs small, it runs exactly to size.  The length of the dress is on the conservative side, as it just hit at my knee.  The sheer lace arms and neckline are gorgeous and were a nice alternative to a traditional LBD.  I would definitely rent again!
