The netting is a bit scratchy on your neck but it's a lovely all black necklace ( I feel like the picture shoes there could be white netting). The tie string is very long. 

This was my first RTR order and I was pleased with the process. I was initially a bit dubious about ordering something sight unseen, but when I saw this necklace, I splurged. I would seriously own this if I could. I wore it for my sister's wedding where I was the matron of honor. My dress was pretty simple and this just topped it off perfectly and jives with my style.  Please note that the mesh backing is black and upon delivery, some of the mesh was caught up on the beads and fraying wire that held the beads.  There may not have been a lot of care that went into the packing of this necklace, either that or it was jostled in the mail,  but I was able to carefully pull the mesh and beads apart.  Totally worth it in the end. 

The original necklace that I had chosen to wear to my friend's wedding was unavailable- however RTR was flawless in their customer service (as always). 

My backup choice was even better than the first necklace!

(I paired it with CARMEN MARC VALVO's Magenta Floral Sheath....total dream dress!)

This necklace was fun. I wore it over several fall sweaters. The backing on the necklace sometimes gets caught on the embellishments so you have to be careful about it folding over on itself

Really helpful review!  I thought the necklace sat on a white cloth too.  The stock photos are really deceiving.

I liked this necklace, but didn't love it. One thing to note is that the it is on a black mesh.  I thought it was on a white cloth, but I think that is just because it is photographed on something white. It is a black mesh, so whatever color you are wearing under it will come through.  Definitely a pretty necklace though!

This is a gorgeous, luxe statement necklace! The quality is incredible. You can tell it's a high end piece. It really sparkles. I wore it on top of a high-neck black dress, which was perfect with the black netting. I don't know if I would have liked it as much if the neckline was lower and it was the black mesh over my bare skin.
