it was great!! So pretty, amazing quality, kinda busty but that can be toned down

I ordered the size 2 and Size 0. Both fit and could have worked but I ended up wearing the size 0. The size 0 was more snug and held in my chest a but tighter. Absolutely loved this dress. 

The straps are a little long on the top, but this dress is so amazing. I love the detail and embellishment. It looks subtle from afar but up close it’s a stunner. 

Beautiful and high quality gold dress…Chanel-like tweed! Straps are for a long torso and slit is high…I used a large gold safety pin to pull the slit in some. Loved for my 50th birthday! 

I am 135lbs, 5'6, usually a size 4 in pants, small shirts and ordered this dress in a 6. it fit like a glove! I am small chested (36b/c) and the chest fit snug. I did not experience the long straps like everyone experienced. I got so many compliments and questions about this dress all night. 10/10 recommend

5'7" 35/26/36" ended up wearing size 4 little too short from my comfort zone since I'm turning 40 this month but I received endless compliments that night so it was cool😆

I was obsessed with this dress after seeing how good it looked on everyone. I rented this for a holiday work party and got so many compliments. It looks so classy and expensive looking that people asked if it was Chanel.

I rented both the 6 and 8, but wore the 6 since the straps were too big on the 8. The straps still slid off for the 6, but not as bad. The slit was really high though, so I pinned it a little since it was a work party after all. I would definitely purchase this and alter it if I owned it. 

The material is itchy where the beading is around the neck and armpit area. I ended up breaking out in a rash. The dress is really pretty and great quality. I found the dress to be perfect length for my petite frame. The top was right but the bottom was loose and wide. My body shape is inverted triangle and the dress did not mesh well with my frame. The dress is definitely for pear and hourglass shapes. 

I love self-portrait dresses! However, they come small si size up! 

I had been eyeing this dress for a while and finally decided to rent it for a bachelorette party. It was such a fun wear, super comfortable and got tones of complements. Loved the bead embellishments and the slit was just the right length to not feel too exposed. I think I read a review about the straps being somewhat long, which I would agree with but still felt ok, just might flatten you out a bit depending on your chest size. 

This dress was incredible for my friends engagement party. Hugged my curves without being too tight. Straps were a little long as other people have mentioned, but pulling down the dress in the back from time to time worked well for me! Just do yourself a favor and RENT THIS!

Loved this dress so much! Totally gave me Chanel vibes! Even the buttons were perfect. It’s definitely small in the chest so watch out if you’re busty, but I loved it! 

Rented for a friend's bachelorette weekend. 

This was the perfect birthday dress. It's glam and sparkly but elegant at the same time. It is a little lower than expected BUT otherwise, it was iconic! 

Typically a size 10 and wore just that! The straps were a bit big, but nothing too serious. Slit was high, but not uncomfortable. 

I’ve never gotten more compliments on a dress! It’s perfect for a bachelorette party or GNO. I’m usually a 4/6 and wore a 4 but wish I had the 6. I could not breathe but it gave me a Sofia Richie vibe so honestly, maybe it was worth it. 
In short - Size up if you can but worth squeezing if it’s not available.

Wore this to a show in Vegas and paired it with gold boots! Received endless compliments about the pairing. Though, I did find the straps to be quite long on me so I couldn’t wear a regular bra with it or else it’d show. I opted for sticky covers and it helped! Found myself fussing with the straps all night tho (which is why I selected “too large” for fit). Although it fit fine everywhere else - just the top was a bit too long for me! My measurements are accurate (typically 26/27 in waist)

The 4 was great but the slit came up too high so I went with the 6 which honestly worked really well. Only issue was the straps falling down every now and then. Otherwise love the dress and it’s subtle sparkles and hints of pink and blue speckles. Got tons of compliments!!

It was very odd fitting. The straps were  wet loose and the waist was tight. The size up just fit all wrong.

Size 8 was a little big but I’m usually a size six. 6 would have been perfect had it been available. 

This dress is so excellent. Amazing neckline, didn’t need a bra. Will be renting again!

Wore this for my birthday, it was super flattering and comfortable.
Despite the high slit it was comfortable and stayed in place during dinner and whole dancing!

The most compliments I’ve ever received in an outfit. I’m usually a 6-8, but the 6 fit great. Agree with some of the other reviews that the straps can be a bit weird, but I didn’t notice too much. The slit is HIGH so if you’re wearing this to a dinner like I did, beware, sitting is a bit challenging. I also found the fabric itchy under the arms so if you have sensitive skin, proceed with caution. 

It was a little big in the waist area, I would size down if I wasn’t too busty. I’m tall and the length was perfect!! 

I’m a true size 6 in a lot of brands and this felt more like an 8. I def should’ve sized down to a 4. The straps kept falling off of me all night and the chest, waist, & hips were inches big. I was so bummed bc it really is so beautiful! The under arms are pretty scratchy bc of the rhinestones so wouldn’t recommend to wear longer than a dinner. It’s so cute just wish I got a size smaller.

I rented the 4 and the 6 and the slit on the four was shockingly high (like underwear level) while the slit on the 6 felt a bit daring but acceptable. I wore the six but would have liked something a bit tighter on the chest. Overall gorgeous dress, I loved the sparkly tweed even though it was a bit painful on the underarms. Would maybe rent again, but didn’t love it as much as I was hoping too. 

Sorry for the annoying pic, but I somehow managed to get zero photos, so we (drunkenly) took this when we got home. That's what this dress does to you. 
The dress fit like a dream and was surprisingly comfortable. The slit was the perfect height for me, so I'm assuming that's true for most people between 5'-5'4" ish. 

Loved this dress! Typically a size 2 but it wasn’t available so opted to order the size 4 instead which fit a tad too large but still worked! The leg slit is very high so I opted to safety pin it semi closed. Wore this dress to our Taylor Swift “Midnights” NYE party and it was perfect!  

This was SO cute I wish it fit! The straps were awkwardly large and the leg slit went up very high. But the material and beading is stunning 

Wore for a quick trip to Las Vegas & it was perfect. Classy, well tailored, lux details. Would be perfect for NYE or the holidays. I will definitely rent again! Wore a size 4, I find self portrait runs large overall. Might have been able to squeeze into a 2. 

I rented this for my golden 30th birthday and I couldn’t have been happier! It sparkles even more in person, but not in a cheap gaudy way. Comfortable to sit and dance in and definitely an attention grabber. Rent this!! 

Wore this to a friend’s rehearsal dinner and loved it! It’s pretty low cut so I couldn’t wear a bra, and had to safety pin the slit because it was too revealing. I’m between a 4/6 and felt comfortable in the 6, but maybe could have fit in the 4. Beautiful fabric and such a showstopper

Got so many compliments this dress is amazing! Looks like a Balmain dress and the detail is very intricate and expensive looking.

Felt like a million bucks! A little loose on my waist if I wear again I might size down. 

I was a bit flat chested for it but gorgeous cut and very flattering
