Super cute and comfortable. I’m between a 2 and 4, and sized up to 8R which fit perfectly. Lots of compliments on this one 

I'm consistently a size 4 and could not zip this size 4 dress when it got to the chest and I do NOT have a big chest so definitely size up if you have shoulders or chest. Disappointed but could have been a decent dress. 

It runs smalls so I got two sizes but ended up going with the smaller one. It was tight but not uncomfortable. 

The black dress is full of intricate details, best appreciated at an event with good lighting so you can see everything. I took it on a trip, but the downside is that it has a lot of fabric and takes up a lot of space in the suitcase.

This dress is absolutely stunning. Wore to a classmates’s wedding & got compliments all night.
It’s all in the details. The fit was perfect. I didn’t have to wear a bra; however for me the silhouette just looked better with the twins sitting up. The waist is not adjustable so be mindful. The fabric is rich and perfect for a fall event (wasn’t see through at all). If it wasn’t so pricey I would surely purchase it. 

Needed something conservative but cute for a Corp event and went with this one. I loved it!

This was pretty and I felt very sexy emo but…I have small boobs and it was so tight around the chest.  I’m always a 0/2 and the 6 was almost unwearable.  Size up x3.  But also,….the compliments were almost worth the asphyxia.

I wanted something dressy but also fun and sexy and this dress fit the bill perfectly. The see through top was lovely and the lining covered my perfectly. And the small ruffles were a perfect touch.

This dress is STUNNING. The details are exquisite, the fit is so femme. I received so many compliments. It looks fab with a pair of black strappy heels!

Not meant for people with a chest… the dress fit perfectly everywhere else! I almost didn’t wear it because I was worried about not being comfortable and having a full range of motion but honestly I received so many compliments and it was worth it. If I get this dress again, I’ll get the next size up.

This dress is stunning! Wore it for a winter wedding and it was perfect.

Really liked this dress but needed it in an 8R, unfortunately they only had it in a 6R and 10R, so wore the 10R reading the other reviews that it ran small. It was to big and just felt lose, long and baggy, but otherwise it is a beautiful dress just needed a different size.

Love this dress! Wore it to a Broadway show. Self-Portrait runs small so I always size up. Usually a US 2 and have to go to 4/6 in Self-Portrait

Much like the other reviews, this dress runs quite small in the waist with no give. Thankfully it fit but the 6 (10R) would have been a little more comfortable. It’s beautifully made and compliments galore. 

This dress was beautiful and had just enough lace to feel sexy with out showing anything. Comfy wait & flowing skirt…would rent again.

No cons, as long as it's not too hot out! 

Received so many compliments on this dress. It fit like a glove.. but I will agree with previous reviews that if you're larger chested, you may want to size up because the bust area is snug. Luckily enough for this dress I am not. I felt it fit true to size as well. 

Love this designer - high quality, but runs small. Length is great if you are on the shorter side. :)

This dress was so fun and comfortable! I'm a short girl, so if you're a short girl too, I recommend heels as the skirt is long. Very fun to dance in! 

Gorgeous details and elegant, flattering fit. I would have fit better in the US 6, but the 4 still worked although tight in the arms and chest. 

The fit is a bit snug through breast and mid section however it did fit me well. Overall it was a beautiful dress and got so many compliments

I'm so in love with this dress!   Ordered it for a wedding.  I was a little worried it wouldn't fit as the reviews I read stated it runs small.  I generally wear a 6/8 and ordered 12R. Perfect fit!  I received so many compliments.  The dress was figure flattering and very comfortable.  I didn't want to return it!  

Classy, unique dress. Runs tts - I'm 5'4" 145 lbs and wore the equivalent of a US 8. A little tough to move arms and the back clasp had to be re-done a few times throughout night. Otherwise no other complaints. 

This dress was so beautiful! TTS, but the lace material in the bodice was not very giving, so it felt tight in the ribcage.  I did not feel the need to wear a bra (34 C) and used fashion tape underneath my bra line. The length is great and received many chmplienents when I wore this to a wedding

This dress was comfortable and easy to move in…I would definitely rent this dress again in a heartbeat. I am short (5’3”) so the dress was a little longer on me, but I still loved the way it fit.

as a wedding planner, this was the perfect dress that mixed work and fashion-forward attire. It was an appropriate length, fit great and I received lots of compliments! Just unique enough for being a black dress!

Wore this for a socially distant birthday party. Wish it wasn't so cold outdoors to really show off the dress but I loved how flattering it was. Lovely cut out details without showing too much skin. Will definitely rent again!

I'm saying this dress was true to size because I probably should have sized down & gone with the 10R. I read that the arms could be tight, but I did not find that to be the case. Plenty of room in the arms, chest, & waist. The way the lace and solid material cover, wearing a normal bra is possible without it being seen. Great rental.

This dress was absolutely beautiful and got compliments the whole evening! This was a Size UK 8/US 4. It was a bit tight near the back with a bra strap. I am usually somewhere between a 2 or 4 and this size just fit. Definitely think about sizing up in this dress! 

Loved the quality fabric and detailing on this dress. I typically wear a 4-6 US and the 10R fit well. I think it runs a bit small, so I sized up. 

It fits pretty tight through the chest and waist so if you are debating sizes, I would go with the bigger one. Overall loved this dress and got so many compliments 

I definitely wore a black cami underneath this dress to make it more modest- and I absolutely loved it. It was conservative (perfect for a family wedding) yet still stylish and a statement. The details such as the stitch work and the cutouts make this dress stunning and felt so expensive when I wore it. It was a tad long for me (5'2'') so I had to wear 2 inch heels but other than that I absolutely adored this dress!
