I'm 160 5'1 & the L worked for me. It was roomy in the mid section & the sleeves were a bit long but I was happy with the overall look. I was nervous about committing to a sweater when layers aren't involved but this piece was not at all too thick or bulky. Would recommend this piece! 

Was able to wear this both to work and casually to dinner with friends. Really cozy sweater and ruffles were a cute added detail

Loved this sweater. The cut was perfect with high waisted jeans or a skirt. I wore it with both. The color is great for basically all seasons. I paired it with white jeans for a late spring/summer roof party! It was flattering, but be aware it's a little cropped in the front!

Not a great picture but seriously a great top! I could have worn this everyday! It was flattering and comfortable! 

This top was super comfortable. It is a heavy-weight knit. Loved the fit. I wore this with my friends for a wine and cheese night. Just be careful, it tends to rise up if you wear without high waisted pants

I wore this sweater to work on a Friday with jeans and the following week over a sheath dress. As other reviewers have said, it is short in the front. When wearing with pants, I wore a black tee underneath. I thought the ruffle details were perfect! The color is a beautiful dark teal and the fabric is soft. Will definitely rent again.

This top was fun and flouncy. It was a bit oversized, and shorter in front. I wish I had higher waisted pants to wear with it. I wouldn't rent again, but would recommend. 

Great sweater and fabulous color! Only call out if you raise your arms it shows a bit of belly in the middle, so a little difficult for work. Otherwise gorgeous top!

I rented this top for a winter engagement shoot. The material is thick and the color is beautiful but it was unwearable due to how short it is in the front. I took this picture while wearing a black cami underneath to see if I could make it work because otherwise you would see my belly button! I'm wearing it with mid rise jeans in the photo. With high waisted pants or a pencil skirt this would look great but didn't work for my purposes.

Such a cute sweater I wore it so many times. 

It's possible my torso is too long, but the waistline was short and didn't come down to waistline. 

This shirt is a beautiful green and a thick, high quality fabric. The fabric is a little more casual than I expected, but it was perfect for the weekend. As others have mentioned the shirt is a little high cut in the middle where the ruffles intersect. I felt more comfortable wearing high waisted pants. Would definitely rent again. 

This sweater would likely work best for shorter people. It is definitely cropped in the front. Maybe go up a size if you're worried about length. Pretty green color and ruffle detail without being overwhelming

It's on the shorter side, but all of my pants/skirts are high waisted so it worked well for me. I went a size smaller (XS) than my usual (S) and it fit perfectly. Great sleeve length, too! 

Great color, TTS, and flattering fit. Lots of compliments at work. Paired with black high rise jeans and black booties.

It was my first RTR work outfit and I totally loved it. I got so many compliments. It's shorter in the front but a tank top worked perfect. Great rental!! 

This sweater is cute and surprisingly warm for its weight! It's fairly cropped in the front, so I took others advice and sizes up from my normal medium. With a bodysuit underneath it was totally work appropriate for the peekaboo tummy. The color is a lovely green, a little more subtle than the photo!

Great color and style.  Has a fitted look without being tight. I needed to wear a tank underneath b/c otherwise my stomach would show if I raised my arms.

Some reviews complained about how much skin was exposed in the stomach area, especially on tall women. I am 6'0" and wore the top a number of times with a black cami underneath that was tucked into my high-waisted black pants (both black jeans and velvet black pants). The shirt is stretchy and ribbed, which isn't clear in the photos. The ruffles are a great touch and in style in NYC!

Super cute top but is very cropped and fits snug all over. Even with high waisted pants I was still showing my belly button at times. 

Fit fine. The point where the front wrap comes up is a bit higher than expected had to wear with a camisole to not bare midriff. 

Thinner sweater but warm! Loved the ruffle detail. Slightly short/cropped in the front, so you may want to wear a cami underneath (even with high waisted jeans) if you don't want to show skin. 

This is great with high waist jeans IF you're short (5'3 and under). The sleeves are a tad long but not enough to dissuade me. It runs a bit big. I think a medium would have been ok. 

This was the right fit for me. Like other reviewers it is short in the front - I wore a black tank under it since I wore to work. If I were ten years younger this would be perfect to wear out on St Paddy's day without a tank under. :)

Need to wear a camisole underneath. If you're long-torso-ed, there will be midriff.

The colors and the ruffles are everything on this sweater.  It definitely has that cutaway look in the front so I'd suggest high waisted pants/jeans if you don't want your stomach to show.  

The color is gorgeous and I love the ruffles. The fit was overall very flattering - other than the length of the garment. The back hit right above my hips, which seemed awkward. I don't mind a little bit of midriff if I had better pants for the style of the top, but the other reviews aren't kidding - this will likely show a little skin in the front if you have an average or long torso!

Very nice, cozy top. I wore to Thanksgiving dinner. The ruffle adds a nice touch to an otherwise basic sweater! 

Was so excited for this top but was disappointed when I tried it on and found it was so short in the front. Only way it looked good was with extremely high waisted pants and that says a lot since I have a short torso.

Very happy I got this top in the medium as it is rather short in the front.  Sleeves were a little long on me but overall was great.  Nice detail, soft, etc.  would rent again

I liked this sweater. Nice fit. Comfortable. I wore with high waisted black jeans and wore a blank tank under so you couldn't see my tummy if I lifted my arms. I have a VERY short torso and it was still too cropped for me.
