I've been an rtr member for years and have tried on 100s of dresses for events. I've never felt so beautiful and confident - it's a must rent! 

Definitely size up 1 to 2 sizes from your original. I’m a 4 normally, and I ordered an 8 but might have been able to wear a 10. Zipping up was difficult but easier with help. Honestly — a gorgeous color and silhouette.

Fabulous dress to wear to formal affair. The dress will hit you in all the right places. But, as everyone has already emphasized, you’ll need to size up at least 1-2 sizes; especially my curvy girls! I would order 10x again! 

This dress fit like a glove! I relied on the height and weight of others who had worn it and left reviews, managing to find a perfect fit



Runs small. Size 12 was too small for my waist (33.5”), size 14 was perfect for my waist, a little big on the bust. I received many compliments, I did not find it difficult to walk in, might be too stiff if you plan on dancing. Would definitely wear it again.

Great color, great fit but very restricted in movement. Looks great though!

The way this dress hugs your body is incredible. I tried to size up to be able to breathe a little, but it ended up being too big. The boobs looked great. Even the bride came over and complimented me. Gorgeous color too!!

Most reviews suggested sizing up, and Im happy I did. Im a size 10R normally, but got 12R. Perfect length. I wore 3.75 inch heels and the dress still hung low. 

This gown is a dream! I wore it for formal family portraits and did not want to take it off. I felt secure and comfortable sitting, standing, and walking. Rent this dress!!

Got so many compliments! I’m in between sizes so I listened to the reviews and went with my larger size and it was a bit big in the chest for me (my back up was another size up so I’d definitely recommend going with your smaller size if in between like me for at least one of the dresses) - makeshift alternations helped. I highly highly recommend this look!

I loved the fit. I used a 10 and should’ve order a 8 for the perfect size. 

Wore to a black tie wedding and would wear it again! I am usually a size 0 but I couldn’t zip it. The 2 fit great in the waist but the bust area was a bit large (I have a very small chest). It stayed up because the waist fit so well and didn’t budge. I wore 3 inch heels and the length was perfect. Received compliments all night!

This dress was so beautiful between the structure and the color. sadly, they couldn’t send the right size I ordered so it was a little big but even with the backup dresses I chose I couldn’t help but wear this one. The neckline was to die for and the one shoulder strap wasn’t cumbersome at all. 

I was so nervous about the fit of this dress, but I went to the Sau Lee website and compared my measurements to their size chart. I was in between a 2 and 4 so rented both, and ended up going with the 2. I’m 5’8” and went with the regular length versus the long, and it was great with 3 inch heels. I did not want it to the floor. I loved this dress! I also rented the Loeffler Randall purse to go with it and was so happy I did! 

I am usually a size 4, but the reviews led me to order a size 6 & 8. The size 6 was a bit loose in the waist, but with a bra it stayed up much better! There is not much give to the fabric, and the boning in the front was very supportive. Would definitely recommend! 

This dress is beyond perfect. I would buy it I loved it so much. I would pay attention to length of dress to ensure good fit. This was the Long version which I would not have reserved if the regular length one was available but I wore my highest heels with pride just to make it work because It is just such a beautiful dress. YOU NEED TO RENT THIS ONE!!!!

Looked great, but ultimately didn’t wear it because I knew I wouldn’t be comfortable in it for 8 hours. More of a standing dress vs a sitting and dancing dress. And, you need to unzip every time you need to use the bathroom (even if you size up). 

This was ridiculously flattering (with good shapewear) it really snatched my waist w/ good boning. I definitely wanted shapewear so everything was extra smooth but it didn't technically need it. Boobs we're pushed up but I was about 3 cm away from a nip slip so I used boob tape just in case

Dress fit perfect with no need for pins or fashion tape. I was comfortable dancing, and was complimented all night.

This dress looked incredible on every review I saw and I am happy to report that it worked miracles for me too. I styled it with an emerald statement necklace that I wore at a short length and loved the way it accentuated the asymmetrical detailed neckline 

Not much give with the material but for me it fit like a glove. I didn't have a chance to wear this anywhere but definitely strut my stuff around my house, haha  <3

This dress is absolutely beautiful. I did not find it to run as small like other users did, but I do have a small bust. If you are larger chested or are in between sizes, maybe size up. I got so many compliments!! 

Worn to a black-tie wedding & received compliments all evening. The fit & fabric are stunning, but the corset & midsection are small. I would recommend sizing up. 

Loved this dress! It fit true to size but was a bit large at the top. Used fashion tape and it stayed all night. Tucked in the arm strap when it was time for dancing

This dress was so fun. I wore it to a formal wedding, it was a little hard to dance in to the fullest but well worth it. I did use fabric tape to keep the girls in, but I got so many compliments and felt so confident in it! Would've bought the dress if it wasn't for the price tag and lack of events to wear this to.

Loved this dress! I thought it was so flattering and got a lot of compliments. A bit hard walking up stairs though

I got so many compliments wearing this dress! The color is a stunning, vibrant green that really stands out. If you have a fuller bust, this dress definitely enhances your shape in the best way.

My only minor complaint is that sitting can feel a bit uncomfortable at times because of the boning in the torso. I’m really glad I chose to size up to the 12L since I’m between sizes—it fit much better overall.

Size up! This 4 was perfect and I usually wear 0-2

Very tight, I squeezed into the 4 because the 6 was falling off of me. This piece was absolutely worth the discomfort. It has internal boning to hold you in, and the fabric is sensational: Thick and luxurious and looks extremely expensive. The neckline is avant garde, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone busty.

It’s hard to explain but this dress is just it. It was a little different than my typical style, felt a little more grown up, but it is unique while still sexy and high end. Highly recommend but do size up! 

I’m usually a size four and needed and eight to feel comfortable. The fabric is pretty stiff.

Absolutely loved the way this dress looked and photographed. Wasn't the most comfortable to sit or dance in. I sized up and the dress fit everywhere except the bust was a little loose like many other reviews have said. Still loved it for the wedding I went to and would recommend it.

Such a beautiful shape, color, everything, but will not fit large busts! No room up top, could not get it zipped up around the chest area 

Wore to a wedding! It looks stunning on but required three people to zip up past the waist - not due to improper fit - you could see the zipper bulging out of alignment due to wear. Plan to have help going to the bathroom!! Otherwise stunning and would get again if I was just standing or taking pics. 30DD and 2P was too big in the bust (gapping), but 0P felt tight and dangerously close to a nip slip. Would recommend if you aren’t curvy. 

this dress is stunning!!! but it's a standing dress.. The bodice is corseted so you'll be snatched, but I also felt like if I leaned over my boobs may move/slip out. I sat down and was a little uncomfortable, and it's overall fitted so for a wedding it just didn't seem like the right choice. Also was a little long even with ~2.5" heels

What a gorgeous gorgeous dress! So many compliments- but as many have indicated before SIZE UP! Still a little hard to breathe, but could at least zip it 🤪

Loved the color and the neckline. Loved how the waist was accentuated but the flare at the hips was not super flattering. I sized up like previous customers had recommended. However, I wish I ordered only one size bigger but I can’t remember if that was available or not. Petite was a must. 

I noticed many of the women before be wore 1, if not 2 sizes above their usual size, so I ordered up. However, I should have ordered my regular size and one size up. I’m usually a 4. I wore the 6 because it was the smaller of the two I ordered. It fit well enough, but was far too large in the bust/rib cage. If I had the 4, it may have fit my waist and ribs better and not kept sliding down all night. 

I wore a padded bra to help “fill” the top, but that was a challenge as well because the tops of most bras and stick-ons/cakes stick out. 

I’m 5’7”, 135 for reference. 

Gorgeous gown, however every review about sizing up is accurate. I can usually wear a sz 2-4 however even the 6 in this gown was a bit of a struggle to zip past my ribs and chest. The skirt fit fine. I ended up needed fabric tape to keep the dress close to my skin to prevent spillage or a slip. Got tons of compliments, just not very comfy. 

This dress was gorgeous. Usually a size 10/12 and was in between the 12 and 14. The size 12 felt too tight around ribcsge, so I went with 14. But the 14 was a little too big in the bust so the dress was boobier than I had expected and I had to pull it up a lot. But other than that, it’s an extremely flattering dress and a gorgeous color

I checked the measurements on the Sau Lee website and still couldn’t zip it. Sad because it’s a beautiful dress! But I think if you have a butt you have to size up or maybe just skip this one. 

Has boning and the waist is tight but looks amazing. Fabric is beautiful too, I've rented this one twice. 

I listened to the reviews and sized up. Really thankful I did! Stunning dress, sucked me in and looked curvy. Won’t be the comfiest dress you’ll wear but worth it imo!

Love love love this dress! Only reason I knocked one star off was because the zipper was a little tricky getting over the different sections of the dress & there is no stretch to the dress at all so a little difficult when sitting long periods.

I am absolutely in love with this dress—definitely considered buying it full price! I received compliments all night long at the winter wedding where I wore it. Did have to size up as others have said but could move and dance easily.

I’m usually a size 0 and the 0s were out of stock so initially ordered a regular and petite 2. After reviewing other comments I switched for a 4P and I’m so grateful I did! The 2 couldn’t even close on me!

Listen I wanted to love this dress and admittedly in photos it looks amazing. But be warned 1.) this is a standing only dress. Terrible to walk in and getting in my boyfriend’s truck was hysterical because the slit in the back is too small 2.) the waist is tiiiiiiny. If you are between sizes - size up (I’m a size 2/4 and barely fit a 4) 3.) I have nonexistent boobs and this dress just barely and I mean barely covered the bits. But weirdly if your boobs are smaller then there’d be so much gapping everything would be on show ( and no fashion tape cannot help you here I tried with the size 6) and if your boobs were any bigger everything actually would be hanging out. This is a cautious recommendation because it’s stunning. 

So it’s true that the top is a bit more loose than the waist/ ribs area. So I went with a 4 which I can usually do either 2 or 4 but I don’t think I would have fit my ribs in the 2. It is also true it’s very low cut in the middle so I recommend a strapless bra that really sits lower on the boobs under them. I also used fashion tape to attach the top to my skin to avoid people seeing the top of my strapless bra. It worked perfectly. I absolutely love this dress I felt actually amazing in it. I want to buy it in red !
