The bodice is structured- major plus. The skirt is flowy and comfortable. I ended up wearing a different gown for the event however I plan on renting this again for a wedding.

I wore this to a black tie wedding and it was comfortable, I did size up and was glad that I did because the ribbing in the waist does stab into your skin a bit, but not too bad. Got many compliments and loved the fit and style of this dress! I'm very tall and the "regular" length was just right for me.

Beautiful dress. The long is very long. I am tall and the dress was very long on me even with heels. I probably would have been more comfortable in the regular length.

I ordered the 10L as that was all that was available, and it was a perfect fit even though my dress size is normally an 8. If you have large breasts, I dont think this dress is for you, as the built in cup sizes are rather small. the dress is lightweight - and was perfect for a formal affair in Palm Springs

I’m 6’2” and ordered 6L. The length just hit the floor so I could not wear heels in this without it looking too short so I opted for flats. The waist and bodice were very tight but given my body shape it was fine for me. If you have a larger rib cage/are a larger chested gal I’d recommend sizing up! The quality of the dress is very nice however the material is thin but gathered together to give a fuller look.

Loved this dress. Perfectly long so even a tall girl could wear heels. Top section was tighter fitting than the flowy bottom of the dress. I would rent again.

Very flattering dress, especially for a small bust. Got several compliments on it and felt comfortable all night. I am usually between a 0 and 2 and went with a 2 - runs slightly small! My zipper was also very difficult to zip up but hopefully that was just the one I had...

Absolutely loved this dress. Fit well and was super flowy and fun to dance in. Also love how the bottom half is sheer (there’s a slip underneath that will cover to mid thigh).

This was tight up top, and I felt like showed a little too much cleavage for the wedding. I ended wearing my second option, but this one is beautiful. The slip underneath does not go all the way to the floor, so it’s sheer about halfway down.

Like other reviewers said, this dress has a tight bodice. The length, waist, bust, and straps were perfectly proportional on me, but the right bodice made it difficult to zip the dress around my ribs. It you have wide ribs, I suggest sizing up. This dress is stunning - the fabric, constructions, and flow are beautiful.

I was definitely stuck on size and whether I wanted to risk renting this dress for a wedding after ready other reviews, but I found that the 4R was perfect for me. The bottom part under the slip is slightly see through, and the bodice is a tiny tight, but other than that super flattering and comfortable.

This dress was absolutely beautiful! It fit me like a glove! I am 6 foot and have a small chest so if you have a larger chest this might not fit. I also got the long and it just grazed the floor with 2 in heels. I got sooo many compliments!

Absolutely loved this Sau Lee gown for my friends black tie wedding! The dress is snug around the rib cage but the length was perfect! Would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress was gorgeous and fun! Very easy to wear for a wedding. Like other reviews, the top was a little tight but not uncomfortable for a small chest!

I know 95% of the reviews say this dress is wildly too small and disproportionate, but for my body I was fairly happy with the fit—that being said, for my particular ribcage/bust it was slightly loose but by no means slipped down or looked too large. I also wore it strapless by tucking in the straps. I’m 5’3” and wore 4.5 inch heels and my shoes were hidden, with maybe 2 inches of “excess” hem so it looked elegant without me tripping. I agree with other reviews that the pleating of the fabric along the sides of the ribcage billows slightly, but I had a seamstress place two tacking stitches on each side with very fine thread (they were easily removed after wearing the dress) to help flatten the silhouette a little which helped a lot. Overall the dress was BEAUTIFUL and I got so many compliments on it. I recommend it if you have a similar body type, but it seems other renters had more issues than I did.

I’m 5’11”, my rib cage is 30” and my natural waist is 28”, so with the 4L and the bodice was very tight on my chest and boobs, making it hard to pull up. The dress also puffs out around the bodice so I didn't want to go up a size and just made this size work. However I ordered a long size and was disappointed it was not as long as the normal long dresses I get. I felt it still looked cute with the shoes I did.

Loved this dress! The only issue I had with the dress is the bust area is super small. I knew that before I decided to order it though. I decided to go ahead and take a chance. I am a size 36DDD, and even the size 14R bust was very small on me. I'm a couple of months post partum, So this dress had lots of room in the waist but still made me feel elegant and classy!

I know better than to wear pleats, but I wanted to believe. Just way too much material in way too many places to possibly be flattering. Fortunately I had a better option.

I usually wear a size 4/6, but due to the comments, I rented an 8 for this dress. Just absolutely not... it was so tight and did not fit my chest. My boobs were so far out. Unfortunately ended up not wearing this one, but the backup dress I ordered (in a size 4) worked!

I adored this dress but I could not get it to zip in the back. Being small chested, I can usually get away with smaller sizes on top - but not the case here. I rented another dress in a 4 that also "ran small" and it fits fine. Sadly this one wasn't available in a 6 before my event but hope I have a chance to rent again!

This is maybe one of the best dresses I've ever worn from RTR. The fit and fabric were stunning. I sized up 1 and it fit like a glove (I'm usually a 4 and went up to a 6). Beware there is a hint of train, even with 4 inch heels. I wore this for an Enchanted Forest themed gala and it was perfect.

I ordered the king and is definitely long! I’m 6 ft and wore heels and it was even a bit too long, nothing bad! Very flattering and comfortable!

I didn't get to wear this, but because I wore a different dress. I was worried this wouldn't fit based on the reviews but it was actually fine! There isn't stretch so it was on the tight side but not bad at all, I found it pretty TTS (for me anyways). If it's helpful to compare measurements, my ribcage under bust circumference is 31", around bust 38", ribcage above bust 36". I thought the length was long enough for me, I could've gotten away with wearing flat sandals, so if you're taller it may too short.

while this dress was a backup option when previous dresses didn't work out, I was in love. I loved the look but the other reviews made me nervous for the fit of the dress. I thought this dress was flattering, formal and fit like a glove! the fitted top was the perfect size for me (34D), and the bustier section gave the perfect lift. my hips are always where I have fit issues for dresses and this was the right silhouette for me, no issues anywhere.

Loved this dress. I understand what people mentioned about the fabric being loose around the bodice but I didn't find it unflattering. I thought the half lining would help for a warm weather formal wedding but there is a lot of fabric on the bottom that was a little hard to manage while dancing and was warm

I usually wear a 0 and am a 32A, so its not often that I have an issue with the chest/bust area being too small. It is a beautiful, flowy dress, but there is one seam that is way too tight and I couldn't get the zipper past it.

Lovely dress, but please size up! I am wear a 6-8, but should have ordered a size 10. Unfortunately, my chest prevented the zipper from fastening. Lesson learned. Knowing what I know now, I will size up on this brand.

This dress is perfect for someone like myself with a smaller bust. If you have a larger chest I don’t know if this dress would be comfortable.

I rented this as an option for a black tie wedding. It's pretty and the fabric is beautiful in person. But other reviews were right, the chest is tight -- I'm a 2/4 normally, 32D, and rented the 4R, but I couldn't get the zipper closed by myself. I wore this to a wedding and thought it looked great. I got tons of compliments. I usually wear 6 or 8 and ultimately ordered an 8 since many reviews mentioned the top portion of the dress being tight. I didn't have any issues with my breasts spilling out, but the top portion is definitely on the tighter side and did get a bit uncomfortable after 10+ hours of wear. The skirt is quite long and has a lot of fabric. It was fine with my heels on, but I absolutely had to hold the skirt up when walking barefoot or I'd be tripping all over myself. Overall, I enjoyed wearing it, but am glad that I rented it and would not consider purchasing.

The zipper on this dress is a challenge, but the flowy skirt and light fabric was really nice. I did have to frequently adjust my top because it would feel fine, then feel too tight and look like I was about to pop out.

The dress does run small so order about two sizes up. I am very tall and the dress was long on me in heels so this is not meant for people who are not tall. I'm 5'10 and in heels taller. The slip underneath is quite short but you don't see anything unless a lot of light is hitting you. The bust area does provide coverage but if you don't like cleavage this dress is not for you.
