I wore this to a conference to stand out in the crowd and it worked. The layering is very fun and flattering. The buttons pucker a bit if you're chesty but able to hide it somewhat in all the pattern and fabric 

So cute. Material thicker than I thought. Extra hooks on front to keep closed. A keeper. 

It was a little big. I ordered a different print same size and that one fit so nicely. 

Excellent Weekend Country Home Dress- perfect for the Charleston Veranda, walk downtown & casual dining. Stylish, nice fitted bodice - and the bit of a bustle almost on the back is on trend - a bit “ gilded age”. A bit quirky- love that! 

This dress runs quite large and I felt like I was swimming in it… that piece aside, I’m literally obsessed. I considering buying this piece and getting it tailored because it’s incredibly comfortably. 

The cut is so flattering, I thought I size down getting the size 8 but could have used the size 6. There is some elastic in the peplum waist. I could have steamed it before wearing but there is a lot of fabric and the pattern hides the imperfections. 

Appreciate the extra hook and eye catches around the bust and stomach. Extremely comfortable. Lightweight. Takes up a lot of room when packing. Comfortable. Creates a fun shape. Breathable. 

Thicker/heavy material as others said. I’m usually 8/10 and I tried the 6 and it fit perfectly, so definitely size down. Wrinkles easily but doesn’t look too bad due to the texture of the dress. Would rent again! 

Loved this dress and its shape. It has pockets too! A bit long for me (I’m 5’4”) and the buttons weren’t the easiest. But I would rent again!

This dress is well made and has an amazing fit. There are discrete hooks around the bust that keep it from gaping, and the wait cinches in nicely. I thought the length was very chic and I got compliments every time I wore it!

I was obsessed with this and would have bought it if it wasn’t sooo expensive. This is such a unique dress in the best way. Will def rent again

Love the style and feel of the dress, however it was so large that I felt like I was wearing a picnic blanket. I’m not super tall, 5’4”, and this dragged on the ground for me. 

This dress made me feel really wide. I’d recommend sizing down but I’m not sure if that would help this issue.

LOVE this dress for summer/ fall the material is great and you don’t need to worry about a slip underneath. Buttons down the middle are so flattering!

This dress is so adorable but it is a TON of fabric… I am a typical 4 and got a 0 and still could’ve been more waist fitting. So unique though and I loved wearing it to work! Felt like a cutie picnic blanket.

I’m normally a size 6 and went down to a size 2 and it still felt so heavy and big. Also it’s a bit more matronly than I realized as I’m only 28 years old. I don’t think I would’ve worn this if I had another option. 

I think the silhouette was too much fabric for my frame but I wore it for an afternoon and it was cute and comfortable!

This was very roomy and I even sized down. I’d recommend for the taller girlies.

I sure wish I'd gotten a picture of this in a full length view but believe me when I say this is Old world elegance and old world quality. While the dress runs quite large and long if you are tall just size down and get ready for compliments. It's really more of a maxi length and just oozes Italian style. Great silhouette and pockets!!

I’m a pretty solid 4 but if I need to change sizes it’s usually needing to go up to a 6 but this 4 honestly feels like a 6 to me or a “medium”. I would recommend sizing down. It is beautiful. Great for summer but beware the gingham is thick and it’s lined so if it’s a hot summer day you will melt. 

Wanted to buy it. Fit well and you was completely obsessed with it. Kept it for two rental cycles and will rent again. 

Wore it for the conference we host at work, and got dozens of compliments. Wore it for a 14 hour day, and was just as comfortable at the end of the day as the start. So feminine and comfortable

The dress runs quite big, I got a 2 when I'm usually a 4 and had a bit of room. Could've definitely fit in a 0 as there's smock detailing on the side and hooks between the top buttons to avoid gaps. Very well made dress, the inside is lined with a white fabric so you can't really open the top without revealing this stark contrast. Nonetheless, I wore it a few times, felt older and wider but decided to make it work anyway. 

Rosie Assoulin runs large on me. However, the other reviews with super low ratings are a bit baffling. You know what you are getting from the pictures. It's a giant red puckered gingham dress that looks like a Picnic blanket and is named Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. What were they expecting? It's dramatic and red and fabulous. Size down at least one. I'd love to try again in a 4 to give the ruching a chance to cinch in the waist with that poof at the hip. This is a fashion experiment - wear with white boots, definitely needs a heel.  And I wore with the collar buttoned up- not as pictured. Add some pearls! It was floor length on me at 5' 8".

this definitely fits on the larger side but as long as you size down a size or 2 you’ll be fine. definitely has some stretch and the quality is 10/10. i do have a long torso and could see how this dress would not work on a short torso!! 

The fit suggested to size down. I’m normally an 8 so I ordered a 6, but I was still swimming in this dress. For height reference I’m 5’5 and the dress was dragging the ground… the material was nice– just might be a better fit for someone a little taller
