Got so many compliments from men! Don't need those validation but was not expecting them to appreciate this dress or style. Love this brand and would rent again

I picked this as my second option dress because it was just so different than anything else on the site, and because it had no reviews yet. Translation: it would be unlikely that anyone else would wear it (and I saw at least one other RTR dress that night). The color is stunning, the fit feels remarkably sleek for a caftan-style cut. The sleeves have a dramatic volume, falling softly at the wrists. The shoulder cutouts are flattering and add visual interest. To keep the "70s heiress" vibe, I added simple heeled sandals (you could do almost any color, including a contrasting one!) and big gold earrings. I even played up the makeup a la Studio 54. I didn't want to take the dress off, I felt so good in it, and even considered trying to buy the dress (and reconsidered when I saw its retail value on the designer's site). The only downside is that the fabric does wrinkle almost immediately - but as there was absolutely nothing I could do about it, I forgot about it and went on feeling like a rock star. (A steamer is handy, and helped before I put it on, but then I had to ride to the gala, so...wrinkled again.) If you want to stand out and feel like a goddess, this is the dress.

It's very big with the perfect jewelry it will be very nice.  

Great formal dress for post-baby body. I'm 5'3 and the length was not bad with 3ish inch heels, so if you're very tall it might be a bit too short. Will wrinkle as you wear it but it's satin so that's what happens. It is pretty warm because of the material, good for cooler weather.

Lovely dress! Fabric is substantial with an elegant drape. Quality construction. The dress ran long on me at almost 5'8, so be sure to plan for the appropriate heel height. Also very challenging for a bra as the back has a deep slit so even strapless might show. 

Runs large. I ordered 10 which is my usual Rosetta Getty dress size. 8 might have been more flattering. The 10 was quite voluminous on me.
All said, great dress but such a unique style, really not something that works for a wide range of events.  I wore to a late evening patio cocktail party and that was perfect. 

I would order a size down. It's also a bit long so will need to wear a higher heel with this dress. 

Beautiful material and color. Went with a size smaller as I had a feeling it would be large. Added a brown and gold Gucci belt to make it more form fitting. You could dress down on vacay with no belt and some cute sandals and straw hat. Loved the sleeves and overall a great dress. 

I expected the material to be more delicate and silk-like, but it was very polyester-y and almost stiff around the wrists. Thus instead of falling gracefully off the shoulder, the dress looked stiff and tent-like. It swallowed up my 5'4" frame in an unflattering way.
