I wore this to my book release party and felt so great in it. Boob tape is a must, and the waist on this one is unforgiving. I'd say it's true to size--but with no room for error. Had to wear with heels or it would drag, but this dress sorta screams for heels, so that was no problem. 

Stunning and comfy dress! Need pasties or a backless bra given the open back. VERY low cut, so I pinned this to make it more work appropriate for the company holiday party. I’m super short, so petite gals will need high heels, as the tapered dress length does run a bit long. Nothing a pair of 4” heels didn’t fix, but worth mentioning. Sleeves were long as well, so pinned these gathered in the seam and they were fine. Lots of compliments and easy to wear. Do size up-I’m normally an XS or zero, and wore the small. Cheers! 

So low cut! But I just loved it so much o had to make it work. Used my microstich to alter the boobs from being out. 

The fit: the hips and waist ARE smaller than typical sizes, thank goodness I sized up, I could have gone up another size for comfort.
However sizing up creates a larger than usual chest area so it had no shape whatsoever…
Boob and dress tape to the rescue!
Without this I would not have been able to wear the dress.
But instead, was the most confident I had ever been in a dress like this!
So many compliments during the event and via social media following the event!
(I’m also not usually seen in a dress so it was easy to stun people!)

This dress was way too tight when you zip it. It zipped… but was cutting into me. Definitely size up.

I wanted to love this dress because the color and fabric is beautiful. However, the fit is funky. I sized up based on the reviews and I still couldn't fully zip the dress. There is ZERO give. I also have a fairly large chest and it felt loose up top. Would be best for someone rail thin with a very large chest. I wouldn't rent if you are flat chested even by sizing down. 

Gorgeous unique dress. Great for the short girlies. Definitely order your regular size as well as one size up. The waist is disproportionately tiny. I ended up wearing my usual size of XS but the waist was so tight, made me look/feel a little pregnant. The size S waist fit me, but the rest of the garment looked too big, hence why I ultimately went with the XS. Unfortunately I don’t think the garment photographs well, but I still felt confident wearing it at the wedding because I knew it looked better live in person.

I received so many compliments wearing this dress! I love how unique it is.  Definitely size up. I usually wear a size 10 or M/L and I barely got the XL over my hips. Once I got it past my hips, it fit very comfortably. 

This dress is petite friendly, very low cut in the front, figure flattering and sexy! I had to pin it together in the front to prevent exposing too much of my chest and wore a deep plunge bra. The material is light, but still perfect for fall/winter/holidays with a coat.

Small was just right. Not too lose and definitely able to move around 

Loved this for a date night out. Didn't need double sided tape even. Very beautiful dress. 

This dress is SO beautiful! The color is great, and so is the cut. However, as everyone has noted, the waist is snug. I'm not sure I could have sat down between that and the very high slit in the front! If this had been available in one size larger, I might have dared.

This would be a great dress to pack if you're traveling to something fancy. The fabric is very thin and slinky and would pack down into nothing! 

This is my favorite rental ever. It is definitely fitted in the waist- I am relatively straight in the hips with a smaller waist but if you have a booty, I would size up. The green velvet is gorgeous, it’s definitely revealing in the chest so I pinned it since I wore it to a work event. I loved the defined shoulders, the length, and the open back detail. 

I loved the color and burn-out velvet texture but the dress was disappointing. There is absolutely no stretch in the fabric and thus the cut must match your body. Like others said it was hard to get on (over the head) and harder to get off.  I am quite short so the top was way too long (i have it pulled up in the photo) even with boob tape. I did not wear this dress to my event. I was super disappointed. 

I wore this to a cocktail non-profit event and it was perfect!

I wore this dress to a fall wedding and it was perfect. Definitely a bit tight around the hips so you have to pull it over your head when you put it on. I don't have much going on up top (size A cup) but with some dress tape, this dress fit perfectly and was very flattering. My only regret is not getting more pics in it!

I was very disappointed initially. Ordered a M and L based on reviews. And I actually had to get the XL! didn't make me feel great, but overall I really loved it. I got SO MANY compliments on this dress it was unreal. The waist size was the issue.. there is zero stretch at all, so if you have hips it won't go over them. I used double sided tape to keep it on my breasts and it was a stunning fit for a 1920s gala that was not an Amazon flapper dress. Just size up!

Light breezy material. Waist line is very small and not stretchy. Body tape needed. Not great fit for petites/ short arms. Loved tha open back.

I sized up and used tape for the chest. I was able to dance with the tape in place. Got so many compliments and it was easy to wear. 

Wish I grabbed a good floor length of this. Wore to gala and received compliments all night, it definitely stood out! Fit like a glove, the color and fabric was very luxe. Like others mentioned, you definitely can’t go without double sided tape. I could see this being an issue dress for bigger chests but worked like a dream on my smaller one.

the dress was pretty tight in the waist and pretty large on top. I wouldn't have bought the dress if I tried it on in a store, but worked fine for a one time situation. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I got compliments all night. It's very low cut, so I ended up using boob tape instead of a bra. 

I wore this to a winter gala and got so many compliments. It ran just a little small. I'm generally a 4 (sometimes 6) so I got the small and the medium. The small wouldn't even zip over my butt, but the medium was perfect. The only thing to keep in mind is that dress tape is a MUST (bring extra with you if you're going to be dancing)!

So many compliments, definitely a snug fit but perfect for a fall wedding!

As other reviewers said - waist is very snug and I had to wear a size larger than my usual. Also needed the dress tape!

Ordered this a week before my wedding when my original outfit idea did not pan out. Fit like a glove on my waist. Top was big (I have no ninnies), but problem solved w fashion tape. Paired it with a $12.99 fur shawl from Amazon and looked like a million bucks with my absolutely radiant wife 🥰🥵

It’s tight over the hips but worth the work to pull it up. Definitely need to wear boob tape because a bra won’t cut it.

This dress is beautiful but there are some things to be aware of. There is absolutely no stretch in the fabric and the zipper doesn’t unzip far enough which makes it a bit difficult to get the dress on. The proportions are also a little off - the waist is a bit tight while the top is huge even if you have a large chest, so that needed to be pinned. The back is also a lot more open than I realized when I’d rented it. 

This dress is so gorgeous. Like other reviewers said, there is no give in the waist, but once you get it on and adjusted to how it sits on your body, you don't even notice.

fit perfectly through the hips and thighs, waist was a bit tighter and the top was absolutely huge. I had to use fashion tape to keep it in place. Pretty comfortable overall and easy to move in. You can probably go with your true size given the top and bottom are so disproportionate. Great for large chests!

I’m typically a size small in dresses, 25 in denim. I had to size up to a medium in this style. Like, could almost not fit it over my hips when stepping into it. And I’m pretty straight, not an hourglass at all. Once up it was fine, though. Short girlies may have extra fabric up top but tape worked great. Sleeves were my favorite part. The burnout fabric is unique.

This dress fit like a glove. The color was stunning. The plunge is deep, so you’ll definitely need tape. And the open back, icing on the cake. 

The fabric definitely doesn't give so I actually had to put it on over my head instead of stepping into it but it was a 10/10. I felt so good in this dress and the color and fabric were stunning! 

I was in between all the sizes but made it work with a medium thanks to double stick fabric tape. 
Over all the dress was a hit! Will definitely use RTR again. 

ordered XS and S and the S fit pretty much perfectly. I have a small chest so I was able to just wear some fashion tape around the neck, was secure all night and looked great. I got so many compliments and felt like I was one of the best dressed at the wedding we attended! was able to dance all night with no problems, would definitely recommend for my fellow short queens out there, haven’t felt so confident in a while! 

Dress was gorgeous on. Like almost all Ronny dresses the waist was a little tight however if I had gone up a size it would have been big in the torso and hips. 

Vavavoom in this dress! I wore a matching green bra underneath the first time and then no bra the second. It definitely needs fabric tape to keep in place, but I loved the shape, look, and feel in it!
