I'm curvy and short,  5'2 for reference.   Larger on the bottom and tiny at the top. The slit in the front is high. I had to be careful with the wind blowing not to expose. 

I had such high hopes for this dress after reading all the reviews.  It is a very pretty color, but I found it to be a cumbersome dress to wear. The gathering in front brought the slit up way to high. The opening in front made me feel self conscious all evening. I felt like I was pinned and taped in. The constant rearrangement, tuppinf, and pulling at dinner got old real fast. This dress was a miss for me. 

The slit on this dress came up past my pubic bone. There was no way I could wear this dress without flashing everyone I encountered. I do not have a long torso, there’s no explanation as to why this was so obscenely high. The back up size had the ruching pulled out which made the slit lower, but it created a strange wavy front because it’s not the way the dress was intended to be. I’m assuming a previous renter pulled out the gathered portion to make the slit low enough to be wearable. 

Wore this for an 80s themed party and it was perfect. I’m very small chested so I did have to pin the neckline together. I also have large hips so it was a little tight there, but nothing that prohibited me from wearing it.

Wow this dress was so beautiful. The color is vibrant and the material feels silky and of good quality. I needed a safety pin to pin the bust together, otherwise it would've gaped. I am a 34D but to be honest I have a hard time imagining how the bust *wouldn't* gape. The slit also does come up quite high so I had to continue pulling it down, especially if trying to lift my hands above my head (difficult). Otherwise got compliments all night on this, the fit is very flattering, and would definitely rent again.

So many compliments. I used pasties with lift on them to secure the breast area. I am very curvy in the behind area and the fit was still great across the hips. 

I lovvveeeeddd this dress but feel like you should know. 
- the back is open as well as a deep gape in the front so I did nipple covers and then taped over my shoulder to get some support and keep my boobs inside the dress 
- I tried tape to keep it from gaping but it absolutely did not work with the cut of this dress so I just said to heck with it. 
- You could tell a lot of renters used safety pins because there were at least a dozen obvious safety pin marks but not so bad they showed up in pictures 
- the slit in the front is such a vibe and it’s easier to dance in than I thought but be weary of dropping it low. 
- don’t wear this to any event where you need to lift your arms up. 

I adored this dress and would rent it again or recommend it for somebody with a similar body type to mine. 

Wore to a wedding and loved the lightweight fabric, color, and fit! Great for summer formal/black tie optional moment. 

This dress fits beautifully true to size. The gorgeous color and the design details make it a special piece. Would recommend! 

Perfect for Mardi Gras party or luncheon 

It just seemed like a vintage piece you would find at thrift store and be sad because it fits weird and bunches up in some places. Chest opened if I tried to move my arms. Just not practical. I think maybe someone REALLY tall and THIN might like it but if you have any curves at all, I don’t think it’s going to work for you. Gorgeous color though. Fun sleeves. If I could have changed a few things about it I would have worn it !

Great dress, needs some double sided tape but once in place beautiful, comfortable and eye catching. Highly recommend. 

Beautiful dress for a summer wedding. I wore boob tape due to the back and it worked well. 
Things to note: the seam up the middle of the stomach meant it tended to to pooch out a bit in some photos which wasn’t a big deal, and difficult to lift arms up high but otherwise fit well. 

I have been wanting to rent this for so long and finally a 80 degree late October wedding gave me a reason! Absolutely stunning, I received compliments all night long. Typically a size 4 and the small fit great 12/10 love love love 

First timer here and I could NOT be happier! First off, the XS was a damn glove for my figure which is insane. It’s booby but I had the right sticky bra to keep the cheechee’s in. I was extremely comfortable all night. Dressed her up with some sparkle for a “color encouraged” black tie wedding. The only complaint is the back button was super stiff to get in and out of the elastic so once you’re in, you’re committed. Do yourself a favor and get it!!

I got a ton of compliments on this dress. The material is great and breathable, doesn’t wrinkle easily, and the structure of the sleeves is awesome. 

I loved a lot about this dress: its beautiful bright lavender color, unique pattern, flattering ruching, and wow factor in general. However, only giving it 4 stars as clothing tape was a necessity to make sure the huge neckline didn’t open up, the buttons on the sleeves are flimsy (the first dress RTR sent actually had a button missing), and the dress was prone to rumpling especially in the sleeves and seat. 

Still felt extremely fashionable and comfortable in it, and got lots of compliments while wearing to a wedding. 

This dress is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! I don’t think I spoke to a single person at the we’d without them commenting how beautiful my dress was and asking where I got it/what brand it was. The bride loved it! This dress is flattering on everyone, as shown in the other review photos, and a definite show stopper. Rent it! You’ll love it :) 

A fun dress, comfortable except that the way the sleeves were cut restricted movement of my arms a bit—hard to raise arms (eg while dancing). I don’t have huge arms but I wouldn’t have wanted the cuffs any tighter and they’re not adjustable. There was a bit too much fabric in the back for me, I had a friend pin it and it was ok.

So many compliments - the color and structure were spot in. The front was too low for me so I had to pin it, but you couldn’t tell. Great fabric that didn’t wrinkle too much and was perfect for 80 degree outdoor wedding.

Absolutely in love with this designer. The fit is always on point! Loved the color and the light weight silk fabric. Perfectly comfortable to dance the night away in. Would absolutely rent it again. 

I’m glad I ordered the second size. I wound up wearing the xs because the small someone had altered and totally changed the dress!! The back is very flowy so if you don’t mind your bra (I had to wear one) showing or you can probably adjust with fashion tape. I had a playful lace back bra that showed a little, but complemented the look. 

This dress hit in all the right places, and I got compliments on it all night! I do have a smaller chest, so I had to use fashion tape to secure the deep V. Other than that, it was comfortable to sit and dance in, and just really stood out. I would rent this again!

Gorgeous dress, so many compliments! Unique but appropriate for a wedding or an event where you don't need to steal the show. 
Pros:
- Fit true to size; I have broad shoulders and there was plenty of room in the sleeves. Ordered the Medium and Large and as a size 10, the Medium fit like a glove.
- The pinky purple was perfect for a soft summer
- Flattering all over; I hate my body but I felt okay in this. Lol

Tips:
- Boob tape and a safety pin in the front
- Shorter shapewear as the front slit comes up quite a bit
- Sweat will show but the pattern makes it hard to see unless you're looking for it
- If you have your arms above your head a lot while dancing this prob isn't the one for you in terms of mobility

This dress was PERFECT. It gave the best silhouette in the waist, and the shoulders & cut were so fun. The back is open too and beautiful. The material is very thin so it shows any panty lines but would be good for a summer wedding. The bottom is flowy enough to dance in, the slit is a little high so had to be careful while sitting or trying to get out of a car, but hands down one of my favorite dresses! 

My rental didn’t have the ruching detail like the photo of the model. Probably could have done the large but only the XLG was available for my dates. Wore to a wedding. Super fun sleeves 

Don’t be afraid to rent this dress! It’s makes a statement in the most subtle way. Sizing runs a bit big in the chest and smaller in the waist but nothing a safety pin and some fashion tape can’t fix. Compliments all night for the color and shape.

This dress was great!! I wore the small, could’ve fit the xs but the sinching on front looked like it had been ironed out? I’m not sure what happened but it did not look how it was supposed to. But the small looked good as well, easy to move in and breathe and got so many compliments. 

This was fun to wear. Comfortable and fit just right even around larger hips. Needs shape wear for polished look as fabric is thin but may need unique style given the slit in the middle. My skims shorts showed a bit under because of the slit but not worth not wearing bc of it. A bit low cut too so needed fashion tape up front. But still a great piece, received lots of compliments.
