I am a pear shape and ordered a small. The top portion was really big on me and the bottom portion just about fit because it is extremely fitted with no give. The extra small fit the top perfectly but couldn’t get it down the bottom. Overall just not a dress for me.

The waist was as big as the bottom of the skirt and made me look 3 sized bigger than I am. Didn't wear! 

I’m really into the velvet trend, velvet is amazing and so is this dress! I did find it snug across the hips, and a lil short, but I was at a standing-up cocktail hour so it didn’t matter. 

Great fit! I usually wear a petite size 4 to 6. I ended up wearing 6R, so the back had some extra fabric that was not too noticeable. It is otherwise a beautiful dress, length was perfect for my height. Was comfortable all night! Will definitely rent RTR again!

Hoping it’ll stretch a little with some wearing around the house, was going to wear to me sisters bachelorette in Denver end of January, but not sure as I’m afraid it’ll rip. 

I wanted to love this! Was alright, felt chunky but was tight. Didn’t wear it 

What a beautiful dress! Made me feel so pretty! No stretch so maybe size up? 

The fabric didn’t have a ton of “give”

This dress looks way better in person. Very comfortable. The colors are gorgeous. This is always a good brand to rent. It’s my go to. 

Perfect for a fall wedding. I got many compliments on it! Very forgiving, soft and amazing quality. 

Wore the size large, medium worked but was a little tight around my chest. Length was perfect. 

I got lots of compliments on this dress. I had to throw a belt on because the waist was so wide. Wouldn’t rent again due to that but a beautiful pattern and fabric. 

I thought the stress was really cute. But I sized up from a medium and wore the large. And it still was a little snug around my hips, and I wouldn't consider myself someone who is that large around the hips. I've never had this fit in a dress before. 

Tight at the hips so ordered a size up. Balloon sleeves for warmth and comfort. Short enough in winter that I felt it’d be too cold without leggings. Immediately felt elevated and chic. Wore several times to lots of compliments 

I rented this dress for a dressy “Yellowstone” 40th birthday theme. The dress is a great length and form fitting, but the ruching makes it look great in all the right places. I was going to wear tights, but then opted for bare legs and boots. Added a belt for more Western flair. I wore the small bc the medium had too much material around the middle.

This dress is made from a gorgeous velvety material, but on my small frame it made me feel like I looked bulky due to all of the material and ruching. Probably nicer on a taller person. Fit is true to size. 

I absolutely LOVED this dress, it was perfect for my work holiday party and I got so many compliments. It is definitely tight around the butt and there is no stretch, but I’m glad I got a medium, I think a size up would’ve been too loose in other places. Super flattering cut and worked surprisingly well with my larger chest.

Wore this for my daughter’s 21st birthday party. Loved the fabric- it was a winter party but I’m only 5’0” so this kept me warm but also was a great length for my height. I was a bit worried about the floppy arms but they worked. Dress has a cute frill on the side that gives it a unique look. Got compliments, would recommend. Fits true to size.

Loved the dress especially with the side ruffle detail. Wore to NYE party and enjoyed compliments all night. Ordered a medium and small. The medium felt baggy on top and fit nicely on the bottom. The small fit better on top and was super snug on the bottom but not uncomfortably so.  Belted it for a bit of a waist. 

Super bummed this dress didn’t work out. Was too big up top & too tight around the hips. There is absolutely no stretch/give on this dress to where I could barely pull it over my butt.  Sizing up wouldn’t have helped either.

This dress is so pretty and perfect for fall events- I’m not sure if i received a dress that was super stretched out in the waist but it was huge- and I’ve worn this exact cut and size before- so I had to do some creative pinning to make it fit.  But it was so pretty and perfect for a fancy thanksgiving dinner. 

This would be the perfect fall dress if it draped just right. I absolutely loved the material and the sleeves but it was very loose in the waist in an unflattering way. I would advise wearing a wide belt to give some shape.  

This dress is gorgeous—the fabric has blue in it as well that doesn’t show up super well in photos but looks great in real life, especially in the sun! I received a lot of compliments wearing this and it was comfortable all night long. I wish there was a size between L and XL as the L was perfect up top for me but too tight on the bottom, and the XL was perfect on the bottom for me but too loose on the top. I wore the XL and ended up buying a push up bra to fill out the top some more (I’m a 36DD so there’s a lot of room up top!). In real clothes I am a size 10-12 in pants and medium-large in tops. I know Rhode has numerically sized dresses so I’m going to try those next time!

Loved this rental. The velvet and quarter sleeves are perfect for fall/colder months. Short but not too short and has so many fun details!

Cute and unique cocktail dress. The colors are rich and the velvet is soft. Inside is not itchy, and the fabric is a little thicker,l so it was perfect for a spring event in AZ. The bigger sleeves were fun—the length was short but I wasn’t doing any bending over where it mattered. It was tight around my hips, and I am not curvy—not sure what the fit would be for those with bigger hips. I am normally a 0 and the XS fit perfect. 

I loved this! I sized up based on recs and was glad I did because it was tight in the hips. I did have to pin the waist though 

Absolutely loved this dress! The way the velvet changes shades and the copper shows depending on lighting is beautiful! I wanted to wear it again! Definitely on the short side though 

This was perfect for how I carry my post partum weight. It is loose up top so plenty of space for a larger chest, and more fitted through the hips. The fabric was thick and comfortable and the colors caught the light beautifully. I had to size up to XL

this dress is such a beautiful color, quite a subtle metallic shine and was perfect for a cold
winter night. the bottom half of the dress has no stretch and so sitting down felt a little tight, but not unbearable. overall i loved it 

Hard to zip up by myself but eventually got it! Fits like a glove but still comfortable. I’m usually a size 10 and am 5’7. I got so many compliments on this dress.

I wore this for NYE dinner at a nice restaurant then a house party afterwards. The colors are really vibrant and beautiful, and the fit is sophisticated while still being comfortable enough to sit and dance around. Definitely would rent again. 

A bit tight on the booty if you have a fuller bottom I’d suggest sizing up. I loved the full coverage of the dress. It is a little short but the tights helped! 

Loved how it hugged my waist without it being too tight. Felt modest for church but fun! 

So unique. Great fit for a pear shape. Really flattering. 

Got lots of compliments on this dress and felt amazing in it! Danced the night away and dress truly made me feel so glamorous! I will say- the zipper is touch once you reach the elastic in the middle. I had to loop a Bobby pin through the zipper to get enough leverage to pull it up without the fear that I was going to rip the zipper off! That was the only downside though. 

I’m a size 4 in this fit pretty well. Was a little big on my upper body, I have a really small chest and rib cage so it was a little loose. For fit well on my legs and butt. So many compliments! Loved this dress. 

I am 6 months postpartum so my stomach is my biggest problem area still weirdly this fit perfect everywhere but big in the stomach almost as if it was stretched out and there is extra material sagging just in that spot and then the rest got like a glove made no sense, material and color is stunning tho!

This dress has colors and material that were perfect for a date night in NYC to celebrate my birthday before Thanksgiving. It was warm enough but it too hot and the velvety material super soft. If you have bigger hips I would size up as I could not even get the XS over mine, but the Small was great!
