I usually wear a small but the XS fit perfectly. Small people friendly 

I actually rented this dress in 2021 to take some cute beach photos. I was so shocked when I put it on at how much I loved it. It fit perfectly minus the straps that I had to pin. It was too bad the dress was out of my price range or I definitely would have bought it! Even now I still think about how beautiful this dress was and am planning on renting it for an upcoming wedding! 

The straps on this were long, and needed to be pinned. The slit was high, which was fine for me and my taste but keep it in mind if its not yours. I got compliments ALL night and felt great in it!

This dress was awesome! Just a fun dress for a formal event.

This is a very lightweight material, recommend for warm to hot weather. I got tons of compliments on it for being unique but also dressy. Perfect for a beach wedding! 

I wore this dress to a fancy dinner on vacation and the material was super soft and it fits very nicely and I didn’t have to wear a bra even though I have a really big chest

This was super cute I absolutely loved it and got loads of compliments all night – I would say that I’m a midsize and it was a little tighter then I would like and the slit was scandalously high. But it looked cute enough that I just went with it. 

Beautiful dress. Love the fabric. Straps are a bit long but a safety pin in the back did the trick. 

Loved this dress for the most part, however, straps were too long and I’m on the taller side. Felt like I was showing too much cleavage at times which I wasn’t expecting based on the photos, I think it’s partly because of the straps being too long. 

The colors are unique. Fit is sexy but not too sexy (especially if you have a small chest). Be mindful of the slit when sitting. Don't forget to iron it as I did!

Rented for a friends wedding Memorial Day weekend in Chicago and it was the best decision.  Straps were a little long but was able to use fashion tape to keep it right where I needed it, otherwise as someone whose 5'0" this was the perfect length with ~3" heels. fit perfectly  all-around and got so many compliments. Will definitely rent again!!! Have been wanting to rent this for weddings for the last year but was always sold out... don't sleep on this dress if you're thinking of renting it! 

Big fan of this dress, got lots of compliments but please know how high the slit is!! Had to hold the dress while walking and sitting so as to not flash anyone. I finally knotted it together to be able to dance comfortably. But anyway don't let this discourage you I absolutely loved this dress the fabric is so soft and comfortable. 

Slit is VERY high on the leg even for me (5'2") and straps were too long.  I had to pin them to wear the dress but other than that, this dress was perfection!  Sore it to a destination wedding.  

Loved this dress so much! The only problem were the straps on the dress. The straps were so ridiculously long I ended up pinning them and taking it up about 4 inches on each side. Ridiculous. But after that, it was a knock out!

Great fit other than the longer than necessary straps. Does wrinkle easily.

Absolutely loved this dress!! Ended up wearing a different one to my event but this was a close second. So flattering and wraps across the body and has an elegant neckline. Will rent again for another occasion if I can!

Fit great however fabric was kinda thin. But it was summertime and it worked out great!! Colors are beautiful 

Fit perfectly, I'm 5'8 and it was actually full length for me which I loved. The tummy area was forgiving and made my chest look great. So many people stopped to compliment me on it!

I'm in between XS and S, wore the XS because that was available. Silky material drapes well but also wrinkles instantly. Cut very flatteringly, did not wear shapewear. I am 36C, zipping over the bust area was a tiny bit hard. Multiple compliments all night!

The colors are everything. Great dress but the straps were a little long for me so I just tied them in the back with a string and was perfect. 

Delicate and definitely need to buy boob tape. 

Amazing and tropical dress. Super feminine, an absolute hit with the boyfriend. Adjusted the straps with tape! Will rent again. 

Retrofete’s silk is very thin, which was ideal for a Summer wedding. The colors were beautiful, and I could get away with going braless. If this dress came in a darker color way I would rent it again for Fall/Winter weddings. Total fan. I ended up wearing a size S, and I am a 2-4 in dresses, 27 in jeans. 

Wore this for an engagement party. Loved the fun print & is very flattering but the material is a little thin. Wouldn't feel like it was high end enough to wear to a black tie or formal event. 

Beautiful. But top too large and the wrinkle is hard to get off

The only issue was the straps sliding off, otherwise it was a dream mermaid gown for my rehearsal dinner

Still have non-buyers remorse on this one. This was such a fabulous dress. It's silk, sexy and was perfect for Mexico. The slit on the side isn't too high so when the wind blows you aren't scared you're flashing the world. My only complaint is that the straps were too long and slid off a few times, but, to be honest, this dress is so amazing that I didn't even care about the straps. When the straps did fall off, the top part was fairly secure so I was never worried about a nip slip. 10/10!! 

I wore this to a wedding 5 months pregnant and it was perfect! I'd normally wear the XS and wore the Medium as it doesn't have much stretch. It was exactly what I was looking for since I hate maternity dresses. 

One of my favorite dresses of all time!! I felt so good in this dress! The only downside was the straps are not adjustable and a little long so they kept falling. But overall this dress was amazing, I had compliments all night long because it is a bit of a departure from a traditional "black tie" dress.

I don't repeat outfits, but I would so rent this again! Comfortable, sexy and stunning colors! (Athletic, 140lb, 5'3, small waist, large hips/bust) 

Wore this to an outdoor wedding and it was perfect! Material is beautiful. I was between the XS and small but ended up wearing the XS. The smalls straps were longer and looked a little bunchy around my stomach. xs was right but worth. So many compliments. One of a kind!

Super thin a fabric, does not hold curves in place (wish I had gone for a size up to hide the belly).

I'm obsessed with this dress! I wore it to a wedding in Newport RI over Labor Day weekend and got so many compliments. I'm a pretty true medium in most things but larger on bottom (34B and 28" waist but hips are 42") and was worried how this dress would fit around my bottom half but it was perfect! I was also worried about length because I am 5'5" but i wore 3.5 inch heels and it was perfect length. The material is thin and luxurious and colors are so vibrant! 10/10 recommend!
