Had to safety pin the top tighter so it wouldn't fall down dancing but lovely light dress! The top "sticky" part does not lie flat so it flips over. The backless is perfect and uses sticky bra from Amazon. 

One of my fave rentals ever. Def need to wear a little like fashion tape bc the top flips over and little and the backs completely open. Def order true to size or even slightly smaller so it's tight and stays up but it's so comfy and cute

The only thing I'd say is size down. The chest part was really loose and i had to safety tape it all across and since it was a bit larger, the backless portion went a bit too low but it was beautiful

Fabric has some movement but stays in place, soft and draped gorgeously. The back is the moment and reason I did 5 stars - so many compliments. I had similar issue as other reviewers where the neckline in front kinda flipped down sometimes, but it wasn’t annoying enough for me to care. Was even able to wear w/out bra which isn’t common for me.

This dress was perfect for a Mexico wedding. Light weight, silk fabric. Gorgeous open back. Had to use fabric tape to make sure it stayed up all night but overall a beautiful dress for a summer wedding!

This dress runs larger so it’s good to try a size down. I loved the unique print and the back so much! It was perfect for a fancier date night out during our stay in Oahu :)

Slides down a bit like others mentioned. Not bad at all. Silk lays so nicely on tummy / hips. Silk can be unforgiving! This wore beautifully. Masterfully cut 

Ordered this dress for my pink, flamingo, tropical themed engagement party & it was absolutely stunning! 
The top did fold down like other reviews said, but it was still perfect. 

It ran larger on the top and did roll, but I added some fashion tape and it worked great. 

I’m 5’9 and the length was just below my ankle so I could still wear heels and pull it off. If you’re any taller, it may be too short. But aside from that, it fit beautifully and I loved the back!!

I did love this dress, I had so many women stop me to say they saw me here or there and had to say something about this showstopper! And my husband...I'm not joking when I say he was acting differently. The only negative was the top part was massive - like fell off on the dance floor massive LOL. I'm really not sure if the S was too big or if it was stretched out from previous wear (it didn't look worn out at all). No regrets!

I loveddd this dress. It was perfect for a black tie wedding at a tropical destination. The fabric was elegant and the cut was so flattering. I got so many compliments! 

I'm typically a 2/4 and the S was still a little big. I had to keep pulling it up throughout the night. I'm almost 5'10" and the Long was too long. So I'd recommend sizing down and tall ladies, you may not need the long!

Great dress and lots of compliments! As others mentioned the edge across the bust flips outward so had to keep an eye on that. I'm just under 5'8" and wore about 3" heels and the long was way too long for me, had to constantly pick it up when walking. But if you're really wanting this dress and that's the only option left, which was my case, it's manageable.

This dress is a head turner, just be aware you cannot wear anything underneath 

This dress was perfect for my friend's Hawaii destination wedding! Retrofete never fails to make amazing cutouts and print dresses. Even for a smaller chest the sleeveless dress held up with a night full of dancing!

Absolutely loved this dress!! I would keep it if I had something else to wear it to. So beautiful and fits pretty well. The top was a bit big though and had to keep pulling it up. 

I wore this dress for a wedding in Cancun and it was perfect! I did have to use some tape to keep it from slipping but it was a great dress! 

Wore this dress to a wedding in cabo and it worked so well. I ordered the XS and S. Typically I wear a S but as the other reviews mention, the top can be a little loose so I opted for the XS. It fit really well and wasn't too tight around the waist. It's a little long so had to pull it up a little bit but wasn't bothersome! 

Amazing colors! Definitely requires the right undergarments (sticky bra and low underwear) but really pretty. Back goes down pretty far

This file like a glove, except for the length, but I’m short. I had to wear 6” platforms and it still dragged slightly on the floor-which I didn’t mind because it gave mermaid vibes. The color is vibrant and gorgeous! The back, for me, hung just right and my backside was not about to hang out at all. The material is very thin and silky. The only downside is that the rubber/nonslip section on the inside top part of the dress does show slightly so definitely need fashion tape. Rent this dress!

5’7, 150lb, 36-28-42. I’m pretty solidly a size 6 on top and 8 on bottom. I wore this to a colorful wedding in Jamaica and it was such a good choice! I don’t have photos of the back, but the back is GORGEOUS and so flattering. It accommodated my hips while also flattering my waist, and I was able to wear it without a bra who hoo! I wore 4” heels. While the top does roll down at the hem as you can see in the photo, I really didn’t care. I was comfortable in the hot hot humidity, able to dance easily in the dress. It’s like of a miracle the way the whole thing comes together. Love the cut, the fabric, the interesting details, the length, everything. Rent it! 

It’s a little larger than you think but still really cute another good dress

Super comfy, I tried to wear spanx and obviously needed something with a low back which I didn’t have so I just wore regular underwear and it still worked. Also kind of have to go no bra which also worked. The top does roll a little but a little dress tape fixed that no problem. 

Loved this dress for a black tie wedding. However, I did need to use fashion tape to make sure the back did not dip too low! Got tons of compliments! 

Wore this dress to an Indian wedding. Colorful and fun but also elegant. The back was stunning but drops very low.

It was super cute and such a fun dress to wear! The only issue was that it didn’t really stay up on its own- had to tape it up! Other than that she was perfectttt 

Love the bright colors great for spring/summer. Very comfortable fit. This was my favorite out of the dresses I ordered to try on for my event. 

Wore this on vacation and fell in love with this dress! Great for vacation or a wedding. It does go lowww in the back, heads up! 

The top folded over a little bit but it wasn’t bothersome, only thing is I would’ve LOVED to cut off the hanger straps cause they would pop out a lot but didn’t. It was also long on me at 5’10 but I kept it casual with sandals so heels would’ve helped! 

I loved the back of this dress and the material is beautiful. However, I was constantly pulling it up all night, and the band at the top of the dress kept rolling over. I didn’t wear a bra or tape it, so maybe that would help give it something to hold onto. I also had to order petite length because regular length was out in my size, and it fit more like a midi but still worked. 

The colors of this dress are vibrant and perfect for a Caribbean wedding. My only issue was that even with double sided tape the top would roll down a bit. I went for a larger size so that it wouldn’t be snug across my hips. It did run a tad long, I’m 5’6 and had to lift it a bit when I walked.

Entirely too loose. I had to severely tape & pin myself in this so it wasnt very flattering but the pattern is gorgeous. 

Wore to a wedding in Mexico, so pretty but beware girls w bigger chest it was too small on my chest and was pulling it up from folding over all night. I’m always an xs in retrofete so it was weird fitting. Otherwise back is so pretty! 

The back dips super low so you can’t wear spanks or underwear 

Beautiful dress, but definitely need loads of fashion tape to make this work. Even when the seams are laying correctly it feels crooked. The back is very low, I taped it to make sure no one could see my crack lmao. I also taped it to stop rolling down and stay up correctly. It also wasn’t giving waist the way I wanted it to? Got lots of compliments but wasn’t my favorite. It was big in the waist, idk hard to describe 

I got so many compliments on this dress I wore for a Hawaiian wedding, however, the band isn't very sticky so it did slide down quite a bit. It was a little annoying having to constantly think about that, but honestly worth it for how beautiful the dress looked. Also I am wearing the regular length and I am 6' so it could be a little long on more petite girls!

This dress is beautiful, fun & flirty! I think one size down would have fit better. It was large in the chest specifically. Did not need a long length at 5’9. Length was perfect! Going to use fashion tape and hope for the best when I wear it! 

Wish there were more items in stock I would have opted for the long but it was never available. Top was kind of small but overall a gorgeous dress, perfect for a Hawaiian vaca!

Gorg colors and material but a design flaw is that the sticky seem for your chest flips up and you can see a white line across the dress at the top. Annoying for such an expensive brand. I thought it was my chest size but I tried it a a bra without and the size bigger w no luck maybe tape would work but I didn’t have any

Great for wedding, dips very low in back so undergarments can be an issue but overall fits really well!!

Wore to a pink themed fundraiser.  Pattern was gorgeous.  Had Room for a larger chest.  Forgiving in the mid section. The silk is hard to wear though- wrinkles instantly and any drop of water leaves water stains.  I have a shorter torso, so I had to use Stitchy to stitch the open back up higher (my thong was showing!), but it worked just fine.  The inside rubber banding that held the dress up at the top kept flipping to show on the outside.  Received compliments, but I was conscious of the little flaws throughout the night.  Wore medium, but small would have fit better.
