I had to tie the straps in back which made it sit in the right place, but wasn’t comfortable. I wore a padded strapless bra which helped with the oversized top. Not sure if I sized down two sizes if the issues would be solved. Overall with some accessories it was a great look for a casual chilly outdoor wedding. 

The only issue I had was that the straps were a bit long at the top but that was manageable. I am 4'11'' and the dress came a bit past my ankles. 

This dress was perfect for Harry Styles’ Love on tour and I got so many compliments! Three stars because the dress was HUGE even in my normal size. The straps are not adjustable and I used an obscene amount of fashion tape to hold the dress up. I’d recommend sizing down if you can. 

Wore this for a Jean themed brunch. It fit great, true to size, and has a little bit of wiggle room since the Jean material is stretchy. Got many compliments on it. 

I absolutely loved this dress!! It fit true to size. This dress earns EXTRA points in my book because for the chesty girls it tamps down the ta tas - and I was able to wear no bra! Because of the structure of the dress and the denim detailing on the top, it wasn't obvious the gals were a smidge lower because no bra was lifting them. I was just so comfortable in this dress & wore it over and over. The only small con is that the straps give a little with wear - and they did stretch & slip a bit. 

Every time I wore this dress I got compliments. To a work event. At the airport. This dress is perfect and I'd buy it if it weren't so pricey! A showstopper!!!

Def a standout dress! Weird in a good way. Everyone stared but I felt cool. Pretty low cut but flattering. Was a bit warm for a hot night bc material is thick

This dress was massive but was the only size available when I wanted to rent. I safety pinned and used a belt to give it shape 

This dress is so fun! I rented it for the Rodeo but chickened out of wearing it when everyone else put on boring outfits. Now I've put it back on and am like ugggg this denim butterfly monstrosity is actually adorable. Definitely low cut but more appropriate because of the length. I sized down and was very happy I did. Rent this and actually wear it! 

The reviews said the straps were incredibly long, and that's so true! I'm quite tall and have a long torso and they were still falling down. The denim is a little stiff, but it's very well constructed. I had issues with the butterfly design on the front... it wouldn't stay down and kept folding over. Since the straps are too long, the bust part doesn't stay where it's supposed to be, so your options are to either let it fall or use double-sided tape.

Love this dress! Runs a little low cut so he armed with boob tape.  I got so many compliments! Super comfortable too

Wore this for a 2001 JT & Britney costume and got so many compliments. Only thing is the straps are a bit long - definitely could've sized down

Wore this for my birthday party... the straps are not adjustable and we're too big and my chest was too big for the top and it smashed my boobs so fit super weird up top but overall was very cute 

I should have just tried my regular size. I got a much larger size because the reviews said the denim was pretty stiff which is true but my exact size would have looked nicer. The straps are extra long so I decided to wear a white tank underneath which sort of added to the 90s look I was kind of going for just to make it more comfortable. Overall, I loved it!

Would have loved to worn this on vacation. I could have sized down maybe 2 sizes. I was worried that the chest area of the dress wouldn't be big enough for 34D's but it swallowed me in the chest and waistline. Also as others have said the straps are not adjustable, so if you don't get the correct fit in the chest to hold the dress in place then the straps will always be falling down. It is so cute and I was disappointed not to be able to wear it. 

This denim dress is EVERYTHING. After reading reviews I opted for the size 40, but after putting it on I immediately wished I had sized down to a 38. The straps are not adjustable so they kept sliding off my shoulders. I ended up tucking the straps inside the dress and wearing it strapless which was really cute, although the dress itself was loose on me to so had to pull it up often. I would absolutely rent it again but in a more fitting size. Totally recommend. I got SO many compliments.

Straps were too long, top of dress loose yet made me look flat chested from the profile view. I wasn't planning on wearing but then decided to throw it on with straps tucked and a big blanket sweater sitting by a fire-it worked for that.

I loved this dress! It's so unique and fun. 

Cons: I usually wear petite M tops, so the straps were a bit long for my frame and not adjustable. The "wings" on the butterfly do tend to fold down a bit, and it can be tricky to wear a strapless bra with this dress for that reason because it sat lower on my chest. It is probably a dress you can just wear without a bra, honestly. Really great for weekend activities and makes a statement! The denim makes it a dress you can dress up or down.

So many compliments from total strangers! Heavy denim that runs big—I wound up tying the straps back with a scrunchie just I could wear it with these boots and not be falling out of it. The butterfly detail is so sweet, but wish the tips of the wings were a little sturdier. 

I have narrow shoulders and the straps fell down a lot but the dress was cute. 

cool girl chic with an edgy flare. different and interesting. take your usual size; i ordered up and was swimming. 

Crazy cute. So unique. I sized up to make sure my boobs weren't too smashed and to avoid any back fat spillage. 

I got so many compliments, probably one in every store we went to lol! It's definitely smaller in the top (which is fine for me), and I found that the bodice stretched out over the day so I will rent this again in yet another size smaller. (I had rented a size larger and was so cute just needed to size down) Also I might recommend some collar stays so that the butterfly wings stand up throughout your whole day. Next time I'll probably stick those on at the wing tips and it'll be perfect!!

Pro: Effortless boho chic style delivered in a beautifully crafted dress made from high quality heavy denim.

Con: I found the straps to be too long. For a busty woman such as myself, I often rely on straps or bodices to add support. Instead, I turned to lingerie tape and added a belt to offset the weight of the denim.

Verdict: Give this dress a try. However because of the weight of the denim and length of the straps, if you are not a true size X then order a size down.

I love this dress. I got compliments when I wore it out. The material is heavier, so not best for really hot summer day. Based on reviews, I sized up & it was big. I had to pin the straps, as they were really long & wore a belt to give definition at waist because was loose. I could have worn my normal size rather than sizing up. I would love to own this, but too expensive. 

I ordered up because of the reviews and found the dress to be pretty true to size meaning that the straps were big and the waist and bodice was big too. Very fun though! 

Beautiful fit, fun fresh design. Dress is long and a bit heavy so if it is an usually hot day may be too much to wear.
