Loved this one! Super girly and cute. Perfect for an afternoon bridal Shower or other daytime event. I normally wear a 2 on RTR and the 38 fit perfectly. 

Fit: I'm typically a 2-4 on top and 6 on the bottom and the 42 fit perfectly. Note that it is a sheath cut, meaning it doesn't have a defined waist and is meant to be loose in the midsection. 

Style: SO many compliments! This was for a fancy swinging 60s party and it was right on the money, style wise. 60s inspired without being a costume

Color: while this "reads" white - it is actually more of a oyster or bone color.  The fabric was thick and substantial. 

A line dress that fits great. I would def. recommend for work!

This is from the Valentino diffusion line but it is extremely well made and appears more expensive. Very comfortable and easy to wear. Cute without being twee. Lots of compliments. Considered buying it.

The dress is a shift dress and meant to be loose. It fit me perfectly. Tall girls might find it too short for certain occasions.

Love the fit. It was comfortable and it had just the right amount of embellishment and detail. Structured and still had a fun look to it. 

Perfect for Christmas Eve. I wore it with red pumps. Got compliments all night long. Material very thick, beautifully well made dress. Very "Audrey Hepburn" look. A little tight across shoulders and bust, but other then that fit perfect and great length. Gotta love pockets! 

I loved this dress! It has such a classy look with a sassy length :) The fabric was heavier then I expected but it holds it's shape well. It has pockets on the side that are hidden well and don't puff out or effect the shape of the dress. I wore it with boots to give it more of a casual look out with friends, adding heels could easily have given it a cocktail, elegant look. Con- I did notice that you could see the black stitching in the scallop through the cream dress on the size 44, but not on the size 46? The 44 fit better so I went with that, the stitching wasn't that big a deal. I will probably rent this again! 

I took this photo the day after the party so disregard the wrinkles and bathing suit underneath. I usually like my clothes more fitted. Everyone loved this and it was a retro but modern take on a shift. I thought the little off center bow made it. The fabric is very high quality and thick. It's a gorgeous piece. It was a little snug on my upper shoulders and arms so I'm glad I went 42 but I would've loved to try on a 40. I didn't have the right heels for this because I had to work (photograph) in it. Would be fun with a pointed patent leather pump, I think. Maybe a magenta or colored shoe. It's a creamy ivory color. I have no chest (a 34A/B) and it needed my best "makes-you-fuller" bra. I normally wear a 4 in this type of dress. 

I love shift dresses, so I liked this one.  Got compliments from all kinds of people!  When you tell them it's Valentino, everyone is impressed.  The only thing is that because it has sleeves, if you move your arms up, you might reveal more than you wanted to!  Otherwise the fit is good.

This is the 2nd time I rented this dress the first time it was too small (I sized 2 down due to availability.) I was very excited to wear this dress. Unfortunately, when it arrived it had a big stain on the front. RTR offered to send a replacement, but I REALLY wanted this dress . So, I did some trick with a spoon and reduced the visibility of the stain. The hem was out, so I temp stitched it. 
I loved this dress but it the fit and feel wasn't as great as I expected. The sleeves were tight and the length was long. Im 5'2 and it went to my knee. However, it is a very classy, fashion forward  look. I received a ton of compliments. Despite all of the incidentals and the slight uncomfortableness, I still felt like I just walked off the runway. 

The 44 (size 6) wasnt available so i went with the 46 (8) which worked fine, since it's a lose fitting shift anyway. Rented with my Unlimited membership to wear to work and received so many compliments. It hit just above the knee on me and was not as short as it appears on the model, so it was work appropriate. Thick material and may be hot for outdoor summer events, and when sitting is very short in the back. The color is a light gray, not white or cream.

Had to go a size bigger because a smaller one wasn't available but this is a gorgeous dress!  So many complements 

The dress was only left in an 8 (but im usually a 4-6) and I ordered it anyways. It is a beautiful dress. Unfortunately I could not wear it because it was too large. Will order again in a smaller size!

The dress is amazing in fabric and shape. This is great for anyone who loves a shift dress and likes to hide their mid section, but wants to show off their legs and arms. 

Rented this for an afternoon ladies lunch at a very lovely restaurant and it was PERFECTION. At 5'8" it couldn't have been any shorter but was perfectly appropriate even with heels.  I got a million complements most of which were "classic".  Loved it!

Conservative but a bit too short. Great quality. Very thick. More appropriate for the cooler weather. It did come in more of the gray color due to dry cleaning. 

Fits true to size. I wore this to a work event at an outdoor space and received my compliments. It was very comfortable and a really cute style. It is not bright white in person, more like a cream. 

On the hanger the dress looks frumpy and huge, but I'm glad I put it on because it was so dang cute. Not too long and not too short (I'm short and it was just barely appropriate to wear to work) and very well made. The color is more of an off-white gray than it is white, but I paired it with platform Mary Janes for a very mod, 60s Chanel look. Loved it! 

I rented this in a 0 because it was the only size available, and, while it fit, it was just a bit too snug and short, and just wouldn't have been very comfortable to wear. It is absolutely adorable though and I can't wait until it's free in size 40 for me! I'd recommend going for your normal size in this unless you're in between, in which case do size down.

The dress is comfortable because it's not tight on the hips, but fitted in the top. It was the perfect length for work (I'm 5'8"). The material is exquisite and very nice quality. It looks and feels expensive. Would definitely rent again.

i'm typically btwn a 2 and a 4 and got the US2 and found it to be a touch large, but still cute. i would recommend sizing down at least 1 size. the material is thick so any bra can be worn underneath. pockets are great. since it's so thick it's really great for winter with boots and tights. i would highly highly recommend this dress for work, date night, etc. 

This dress was really adorable on. Very heavy material that keeps it's shape and doesn't wrinkle too much. I wore it for a holiday work party and also on New Years Eve. I'm between a size 8-10 and I ordered the 10 and it fit well, maybe a little large but I have a very large bust so I was glad I sized up. 

Simple, chic and elegant. I did not want to send this dress back.  Wore it to a holiday party and dinner party with friends.  

I love Red Valentino, however, this dress was very uncomfortable to wear for a full day at work.  The neck is tight and I felt like I was being choked.  

I like this dress a lot.  It looked classy and chic.  But the color is more cream/yellowish I guess after few wear and wash.  Also it is more of a winter dress than summer given the style. 

This dress looked expensive and was really cute. Someone asked if it was Chanel. It was shorter than it looked in pics so I had to wear tights to make it work appropriate. It was small in the arms and armpits across the chest. I had to wear a minimizing bra so it would fit. Since it's a shift dress and supposed to be loose I would recommend sizing up if you have any doubts on fitting, especially if you have a curvier shape. 

It's not fitted, but you can tell from the photos. Lovely for work. I was worried it might be too short, but it was fine. Have to be smart when sitting down. It felt kinda big, but then again if I got a size smaller it would have been too tight in the arms or neck. 

I received this dress after putting on a few pounds.  I'm normally a 6 and was verging on an 8 when this arrived.  I ordered the 6 but I was swimming in it even with the weight gain.  Obviously it's a shift and supposed to fit a bit loosely, but it was just too big.  That said, the quality is perfection.  Absolutely beautiful, beautiful dress.  Heavy, thick expensive fabric and beautifully made.  I just wasn't able to wear it. =+(  Size down at least a size, maybe two.

The gorgeous and high quality dress was definitely made with TLC in mind. Unfortunately, it didn't fit. I'm not sure if it ran small but i could only put my arms down because the dress was too tight and surprisingly short after on. Perhaps it was my size but this dress was much better on the rack than on my body. 

The dress arrived much too large to wear, and unfortunately was gray rather than white, after too many dry-cleans. 

I read the reviews - I was prepared for it to look better on me than the hanger, but it just drowned me and made me look frumpy. No shape to the dress. Plus color looked like a dirty beige vs the sweet cream color in pictures. 

The white of this dress didn't not look like the photo - yellowish, not bright white. 
I ordered a size 38 based on the reviews even though I always wear a 36. The 38 was still too small. I am 5' 2", 120 lbs. - 32A. The length was perfect but the cut on the shoulders/chest and arm holes were tiny. This dress should only be rented for very petite people. 

I ordered the size 4 because it was the last size they had and I'm pretty much a true size 4. Unfortunately, it was too big and a lot longer than shown on the model. The dress looks white in the picture but it's cream. The dress is really cute but it's not very dressy so I'd wear it to a wedding or cocktail party but nothing too festive or formal. I'd definitely order it again in a size 2 for another event.
