The line of the skirt is very attractive and flattering. Because it was a knit material and I bulge around my belly, I went with a 10 to avoid it being too clingy. The fabric clings but not excessively and I found the skit was too long for my 5'3' frame, so I rolled up the waist until the proportions looked better. The fabric is very heavy, so I had to keep re-rolling throughout the day. Apart from that, I find it a very flattering skirt, with the pleated section flaring out from under the pencil line, and got lots of compliments. Might try an 8 or even 6 next time

I wore this skirt for a family event with a black tank.  Other reviewers have mentioned that it is unforgiving on the top but I thought it was flattering. I am between a 6 and an 8, I wore the 8 because it was available but this skirt does not run small.  It is also pretty long, I am 5'8 and the skirt went well below my knee. It is not appropriate for work because of the shine to the fabric.  

It was a nice design, but I didn't like the sparkly fabric. It's too fancy for every day (for me) and it's a corse fabric that was "scratchy" to put on. It would be a nice holiday skirt. 

Cute, comfortable, chic. Great for work to evening event. 

I really love this skirt in theory - it's super cute and great for day to night. However it's a snug fit, so if you have any kind of belly, it will show :) 

I didn't get a chance to wear it because it suddenly got very cold out, but I would recommend. Not a good choice if you're trying to hide a tummy, but looks great if you want to show off hips or butt.

The skirt is good quality. It has a bit of a shine to it making it much dressier then the picture suggests. I didn't end up wearing it though because I did not like how it fit and looked on me. 

There isn't really any elasticity in this skirt.  I would also suggest wearing Spanx under to keep it from bunching.

Super itchy fabric on the waistband.  I could only wear it with something tucked in which was not the look I was going for.  It fit snug overall - I am a true 6 and the 8 was fine.

It's pretty, but more sparkly than I expected. Ultimately, the fit was too tight! 

I typically size down for skirts since I wear them higher but this skirt doesn't have a zipper and wouldn't stretch enough to go over my hips. It's a pretty scratchy material so I'm just going to return without wearing and go a different direction. 

I've been looking for a sweater-type skirt for work to counter the typical issues I have with a pencil skirt (riding up, twisting around, etc.). This wasn't a good pick. It had more of a going-out fit (skin tight from hips to where the ruffle starts), which knocked it off my wear-to-work list. But it didn't even make the date night list because it looked totally comical when I walked. The pleats are connected at the bottom so it just bulges awkwardly. Go for it if that's your look, but I wouldn't recommend.
