You dont wear a bra also the back was really loose that if I didn't have fashion tape I would be flashing everyone

This dress is an easy wear! The back spices up your look, but the fabric and overall fit make this dress a great look for a spring or summer wedding! 

I am always wary about renting full length dresses since I'm so short (5ft1), but the P size fit perfectly with a pair of 4 inch heels. I agree with the other reviews that without the belt, the shoulders fall forward very easily, so do make sure you have that! I was also VERY easily able to wear it with no bra. But otherwise, the dress was a very easy wear and made me feel so elegant! I got tons of compliments all throughout the night :) 

Excellent choice for a formal dinner event. Very classic and received many compliments. I wore the 4 and my only complaint was the lining it the dress was a little tight, no give in the material. The color is a very good color of purple for someone w olive skin.

Needs fashion tape for shoulders.  Tiny bit snug at my thighs due to straight fit.  Gorgeous color!

Really pretty dress for an elegant occasion. 

I really enjoyed wearing this dress! The color is great and the fabric is thick. I wore spanx but probably didn't have to. My backless bra was too large and wouldn't stay up so I just went without and it was totally fine. I got lots of compliments and was comfy all night. It was a prefix length with 4 in heels but was long when my feet started to hurt and I had to take my shoes off! I would rent it again. 

I rented the 2P which still gave me more than enough lenght for my kitten heals. I could have worn a little higher heal to avoid having to pick the dress up when I walked, but overall I wasn't tripping over the length. I'm very small in the torso and larger in the hips, but, and thighs, this dress fit perfectly in all areas, which is fairly uncommon for me. The fabric is sturdy, but not stiff and I had no trouble dancing the evening away! 

Make sure you call them if your dress does not include the belt! They shipped me a belt overnight since the initial box didn't contain the crucial accessory. You'll need a backless bra, otherwise easy to wear. The 4R looked large on me, so I wore the 2R, the 2R belt was a little snug but wearable. Happy with this selection!

I typically wear a 4 but they were out so I got the 2 - it was just a bit tight through the lining on the skirt. The belt also did not come with it, but they were able to ship it over night once they located one to send. The dress was flattering, as the top fit perfectly - color was amazing too! The lining loosened a little when I sat down (that;s what the $5 insurance is for!!), but once that loosened it fit PERFECTLY. Color was great, and length was perfect with a pair of 3 inch heels.

Fits beautifully! Nice thick material makes it very formal. Would totally recommend. 

Amazing dress, but mine didn't come with the belt like some of the other girls, which caused the back to drape a little bit. But it looked great so I didn't mind... Color is fun! Got lots of compliments. 

This fit true to size, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could wear this dress with 3" heels without it being too short! The beautiful color and low back make the dress! I received compliments all night, and didn't want to return it! 



This dress was my favorite rental from RTR hands-down. The fit was great, although I probably could have gone with the 4L vs 4R. I'm between 5'7" and 5'8" and wore low heels, so if you want a bit more length I'd go with the 4L. Otherwise, the draping in the back hung nicely and the belt gave shape to my otherwise straight and narrow frame.

The color of this dress was also lovely - rich and bold. And the fabric was heavier than I expected - definitely a well made piece. Throughout the evening I received compliment after compliment on this dress and how elegant it made me look!

I cannot describe this dress in one word. The picture doesn't do it justice. It fit PERFECTLY. I wore it to a friends wedding and I received so many compliments from every single person. I wish I could own this dress. It's elegant and the slit is not high when you sit down. The deep plunge in the back adds the wow factor the moment you turn around. A key element to this dress is the belt. The belt makes a big difference as it cinches the waistline and gives a beautiful silhouette. If you have wide hips and a bootty, this dress is VERY flattering. I'm 5'3 and I ordered the size in 4r. The length is  perfect. 

The dress ran small, I ordered the 4L but they didn't have it in stock. So I went with the 2L. I ended up not wearing the belt that it came with... NOOO stretch!! So I paired it with a belt I already had. 

I'm normally a 4 and the 2 fit like a glove... runs a little large at the top, but it worked perfectly for me! 

I must say the longer I wore the dress the more I loved it! I was really concerned when it first arrived because one of the sizes, 4L, the size I was going to wear, had a huge water stain all over the top front of the dress. I was nervous that it would be noticeable in pictures because the flash made it more visible. I had no other option because my event was the next day. Anyway RTR made it right by refunding me 100% for my order AND I ended up wearing the dress. The stain wasn't noticeable, but they should have noticed it. Anyway the dress is fabulous, they left out the belt but it didn't matter. The material doesn't stretch and ideally I probably should have worn a 6R. I am 5'5.5'' :) and the 4L was JUST hitting the floor in my 3.5 inch heels and the dress pulled just slightly in my hips. But it was great and I loved it, I LOVE open back dresses.   

Fit, style and color are perfect! Like many other reviewers, this dress came without the belt, but I called and it was overnighted. Without the belt, the dress drapes a lot in the back and I thought the picture of the model was quite deceiving. But, with the belt, draping was minimal, and the rear view of the model was no longer a deception. If you want a perfect fit, don't wear without the belt. Also, try not to get this dress wet. When I got the dress, I noticed some spots around the neckline and at several spots on the dress. Luckily, they were only visible in the daylight. Then, at the event, I got a sprinkle of water on the dress when I went to the ladies' room, and the spots remained. So be careful. I wore 3" heels with the 2L, and at 5-7, the length was perfect! This dress is such a knockout! My fave yet from RTR! See both pics I've attached.

I have a very curvy figure, so there are very few dresses out there that have a slimming effect on me.  This dress was the exception - something about the fabric, the tailoring, and the overall style of it created the very realistic illusion that I was long and lean.  I loved it! The material is lightweight but not flimsy, and the tailoring is gorgeous.  Loved the color as well.  I wore one of those adhesive backless bras, which I hated, but that was more the bra's fault than the dress's fault. I would recommend picking one up, though - the material isn't quite thick enough to go without if you're at a formal event and are concerned about, well, to be blunt, your nipples poking through.  And the dress doesn't offer any support up there so you really need to go with either a very low backed bra or the sticky ones.  I loved the deep v in the back; I'm 5'6" and wore 3 1/2 inch heels, and the dress touched the floor.  I should also mention that this dress is incredibly comfortable.  I wore it to a black tie, conservative event for work, and felt very appropriate but still felt like a bit of my style was showing through with the daring back.  I wish I could buy it.  I loved wearing it!

C- We recommend a backless NuBra to wear with this dress

The dress does not stretch but it's true to size. The long length was perfect for my tall heels. 

top slides off the shoulders which ensures good posture all night! 

Ugh I wanted to love this dress so badly, and I did- but it was so big on my.  Since you can't wear a bra, the dress was so large on the side (major side boob) and the back sagged a ton.  When I would lean forward, the sleeves would slip of my shoulders.  However the rest of the dress fit perfectly and the length was great (could of worn 3" heels and it'd be short enough).  Better luck to other renters, it's really a beautiful dress.

As many others have said the dress was delivered without a belt. A quick call to RTR and a belt was overnighted. Tons on compliments on this "sleek & über sophisticated" gown. I will Definately be back!!  

For my body type the dress was a bit long and big in the midsection area. I have a short torso, so the back did sag a little bit. Like many of the other reviewers experienced, I did not receive the belt that was supposed to come with the dress. I used my own belt and that helped to mask the sagging in the back a little bit. I also have wide hips for the dress, so it was a bit fitted in that area. The length was good. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress didn't touch the ground at all. I might have preferred getting the 8L just so that the dress could have hit the floor  and have a more ball gown effect. Loved the color of the dress and overall loved the look!

This dress was a back up and the color was fabulous. I got so many compliments on it, especially the back of the dress which is what makes it.

the dress fit amazing.  i wouldn't recommend it for busty girls (you can't wear a bra) but for someone like me it was perfect.

I loved this dress and would rent it again. I rented a 6L but the dress ran big in the bust area.
I pair this dress with black slingback shoes and emerald earrings and cocktail ring. I wish the 4L was available when I rented and Im sure I would have loved it much more.

no its not stretchy. I had to get a size bigger to be comfy

I have hips and it was a bit tight in that area. I also had to use the Garmet tape for the back of the dress to stay put. other than that it was perfect. I felt sexy and classy!
