This was my backup and the one I ended up wearing, I wore it for a fundraiser that I helped plan. It was comfortable and easy to move in. Plus, it has pockets! I could keep my phone on me without anyone knowing. It was perfect. 

The dress fit perfectly from the top and I loved how the skirt was fuller. Super fun dress for a wedding. The pockets were a plus! 

I usually wear a 4 but I went down because of previous reviews and the 2 fit great. The dress is fun, flattering, and I got a ton of compliments. The pockets were an added bonus. 

The dress worked out perfectly for the wedding I attended! I ordered sizes 12 & 14 but ended up going with the 14 because of my bust size (38 DD). I received so many compliments and felt completely comfortable all night. The pockets were a bonus and I wore a strapless bra which I recommend. I would definitely order this dress again. 

I loved this dress from the moment I saw it. I was even more excited when I received it and it had pockets!!! This dress was extremely flattering and being as it was SO hot (95 degrees and humid), it ended up being a wonderful choice (sleeveless and not too tight). I loved I didn't need to wear a bra; opted against Spanx. The dress was comfy, classy and perfect for the occasion.  Having just turned 40 a few days ago, I was looking for a dress that was fun, not too young, but didn't make me feel 40. Mission Accomplished!  

I loved this dress because it was very modest but still felt fun and flirty. The length is nice on a shorter girl - not criminally short, but not so long that it swallowed me up. It seemed really well made and was super comfy. Plus? Pockets!! 

I wore the 6, but could have used the 4. Fun party dress!  Wish I could keep!

Huge pockets were a bonus! Wouldn't have even needed a clutch. Loved the fitted bodice and the loose skirt - this dress would definitely disguise a post-baby belly. Felt sexy and fun and got a ton of compliments!

I was a  little bigger than normal when I rented this dress (more of a 6/8 than a 4), so I what I loved was how this dress made my waist look small, while still giving me plenty of room around the hips area. The pockets are HUGE -- I had my phone and lip gloss in one, and I had a water bottle and comb in the other. The hint of sparkle on top and the silhouette of the skirt made me stand out from the crowd, without being too loud or distracting. It was also the perfect day-to-night transition piece. I would definitely wear this again.

The dress was really cute. I didn't end up wearing because the waist did not hit at my true waist. The skirt was cute and the top fitted and good quality. Would be super fun to dance in I'm sure.

I wore the dress for my prom and got SO MANY compliments. It was extremely flattering and good fitting everywhere. It was tight around my bust but besides that it was a success!  

The 4 fit better but the hem was out and some of the sequins were loose so I wore the 2 which thankfully fit and definitely looked less worn. Still loved the dress overall. 

The dress itself was more well made than I expected. The sequins were criss-crossed overtop of a black fabric which was beautiful. The material of the skirt part was a nicer, heavier material - so it made it look a bit more conservative and high quality. However, even with a nubra it was a bit too big for my chest and waist. It was a bit long for my preferred length, but perfect for the occasion. I definitely found it more appropriate for a political gala I was attending, than for a party or something.

It fit perfectly like I thought it would based on other reviews. The pockets were amazing and large so I could fit all my stuff without needing a purse. No complaints here! 

The dress gives a great silhouette and has gigantic pockets! Great for a wedding.

This dress was amazing! It's extremely comfortable and the full skirt is very fun. This style definitely runs large, I would size down for your backup size. You can wear a strapless bra with this style but I went with no bra, it was very comfortable. The skirt has pockets big enough for your phone, credit card, and lipstick. I wore this to a charity event but it would be perfect for a wedding or cocktail party.

This was a very comfortable dress with a bit of fun flare with the black sequined top and fuller skirt (with deep pockets!). I got a lot of compliments. The straps kind of dug into my skin but it didn't bother me too much.

Very flattering cut. Festive with the sequins on top.  Only dislike that I had was the material of the bottom half of the dress.  

Rented this for a formal dinner preceding a holiday party weekend. This dress was perfect! First off: pockets were big enough that I even jokingly put a full wine bottle inside them and you could just barely see the top of the bottle! The sequins were in great shape and the fabric of the dress was so nice. Only thing we had to do was iron a bit of the dress at the very bottom. Would definitely rent again!

This dress fit true to size. I would size up for the backup size. The dress fit me perfectly. The zipper was a little stiff and I needed help. If you want to hide the tummy and hips., this is the perfect dress. However, I felt that cut of the dress and fullness of the skirt made me appear heavier than I was. Also, the straps around the neck felt a little tight but not enough to be bothersome.  The sequins rubbed a little bit. I loved the deep pockets and the length of the dress was perfect. The dress was dressy but not overly so. It’s perfect for a cocktail party. You don’t need a necklace. You can wear a strapless bra for support. However, the material is thick enough that you don’t have to.

I am 5'7 135lbs and this dress fit me perfectly.  I wore the 2.  The dress is very comfortable and very flattering. I would absolutely rent again

White clothing and I do not get along, and my wedding day will be the only time I wear a white dress. So for my shower I picked this dress because I have been eyeing it for a long time! My bridesmaids are going to be wearing black for the wedding so it was like I was paying them an ode. Got lots of compliments and I loved that it had pockets! I am between a 2 and 4 normally and the 2 fit great - I would have been curious to see how a 0 fit though because I still had a little room in the waist.

I rented this dress for a charity gala, and it was perfect! It was extremely comfortable--loved the pockets!! I also loved that the top was form fitting and flattering while the skirt--which hit lower than an empire waist but higher than a natural waist--allowed for plenty of breathing room. No need for Spanx!! The sparkle on the top added a little bit of drama without being over the top. This dress is a winner!!!

This dress runs true to size, the perfect party dress especially if you are larger busted and want to be pulled back a bit. A strapless bra works great as well! 

Wore this dress for a wedding. Perfect design, love the cut of the dress and the top part with the sequins. Classy but shimmering with the sequins, not over the top. Runs large, took the suggestions in the reviews to size down and they were right. The size down fits perfectly

The dress fit well up top, which is sometimes a problem area for me because I am small. The dress was very flattering and I absolutely loved the pockets. I would definitely rent it again.

This dress was perfect for a LBD bachelorette party! The sequences were perfect and it was super comfortable! Great length. The only issue is that the netting on too under the left arm sticks out just a bit, but I don't think anyone by me noticed it!! Super cute and worth the rent! 

Fit very true to size.  Only con would be the sequins under the arms- became irritated after a while but nothing too terrible.  Would wear again in a heart beat.  Also, the pockets were great!

I received this dress as an alternate because my first choice wasn't available. I may have ended up liking it more! I'm usually a four or six in dresses and went with the six in this one. It had nice big pockets. I am smaller on the top and more pear shaped so the cut of this worked perfectly. The only downside was that the sequins were a little scratchy when my arms were by my sides but that didn't end up bothering me much. I'd definitely rent it again! 

I loved this dress so much! It is very flattering and comfortable for a night of dancing, and pockets are always a great touch! I got a ton of compliments on the dress and was sad to return it. For me, the top was just a tad bit too narrow to wear a normal strapless bra with it, so I had to get an adhesive one, but that wasn't a big deal.. just a warning! 

Was a great dress to wear to a friend's wedding. Got lots of compliments on it. Loved the shimmer of the sequins on top and the pockets. 

Fun to dance in! Pockets! Long enough to feel comfortable. The sequins didn't really bother me! Didn't wear a bra, but it was tight enough to not need one. 

Love this dress. A smidge tight around the shoulders but I am broad! Fit great and super comfy!! Not too short for my tallness either!! Rented this for a semi-formal black tie dinner I hosted in my home. Great success!!  

This dress was perfect for my winter formal dance. I can not tell you how many compliments I received on this dress. So many people I didn't even know came up to me and told me how much they loved my dress and begged to know where I got it!! I am SO happy I got this dress!!! Seriously, can not recommend this enough.

The sequins did rub a bit after an entire evening but nothing unbearable. The dress has pockets which was great. Could be worn with or without tights, length was appropriate for a work event and the back cut in just a bit to give it a little edge.

Such a classy dress ! I generally wear a 6 and found the 6 to fit true to size as long as your not too big breasted. I think if you have a larger bust size up. Otherwise go by waist size since bottom is loose. No need to wear bra top is thick enough. 

I rented this for my birthday dinner, but 2 problems were present. One, no one commented on the itchiness of the sequins, but it existed (though I do have relatively sensitive skin). Two, I say 4 is true to size, but it's actually slightly tight. I find that for most RTR dresses, if they aren't stretchy, they will be too tight because I have a wide chest. All in all just not flattering.

The first thing that I have to point out is that I rented this dress in 2 sizes and on both dresses it was next to impossible to zip up past where the material changes from the skirt to the top half, and the zipper on the size 6 was damaged when it arrived. The dresses both fit well and while I am generally an 8, I would've worn the 6 had the zipper been working. It is kind of hard to tell from the photos, but the top half has shiny black sequins in a cross cross pattern. Overall this dress worked perfectly for the occasion.

This dress was super cute and formal enough for a summer event while also very comfortable!
The deep pockets were a great addition--I was able to keep my phone and lipstick in them and you couldn't even tell they were there!  A strapless bra also worked well with it.  I loved the dress!


Ordered my normal size and a size up and went with my normal size.  Zipper was a bit messed up, but I was able to get it to work.  Great for my work holiday party.  Conservative enough, but fun, too!

I needed the 10 for waist but the top part around shoulders and under arm was big on me but I made it work. Large pockets were great and the dress was comfortable and being tall I loved the length - I'm 5.8 and it hit just above knee.

Fits so well and isn't scratchy at all, wore it to a 007 themed school dance. It photographs so well and the pockets were the best part, some weird pilling on the skirt but it was so comfy and easy to wear

After recovering from abdominal surgery, I needed a dress for a holiday fund  raiser that would leave room  at the waist and still be flattering. This dress worked out great! And I loved the large pockets!!! The top was a bit loose fitting, and did snag easily on jewelry.  Would definitely rent again.

This dress was perfect for my bachelorette party. I had rented another dress but I wasn't super impressed with the quality or fit. I took a risk and had this overnighted, and even though they only had the 2 left it was still great. I'm typically a size 4 and I do think the 4 would have fit better (it was a tad tight in the chest and I couldn't zip it to the tip top which was fine), but it still worked out perfect.  Highly recommend this dress if you want to sparkle but don't want to be to flashy. Very happy with the dress and RTR :)

I'm a size 8 in pants but usually with formalwear I size up to 10 or even 12 depending on the designer. I ordered the 10 with a backup of 8 and the 8 fit like a glove. I was really impressed with the condition and quality of this dress. I was ready for some missing sequins or loose seams since that easily happens to beaded or sequined dresses with wear, but I couldn't find even one! It was in perfect condition, like I just bought it brand new. I'm 5'5 and wore 4-inch heels and the dress came a couple inches above my knee which I thought was a nice length. The skirt did need to be pressed/steamed so leave a little time to do that. Overall I LOVED IT and wish I could keep it! It was my first RTR experience and I won't hesitate to do it again next time I have an event.

This dress was perfect for my Homecoming dance! It fit perfectly, was made beautifully, and was so so comfortable! The pockets were a plus! I was so sad to send it back!

I wore this for a 5pm wedding. The balance of skirt material and the sequins on top were perfect. The fit of the 8 was great for me. With my low natural waist, the dress' waist was a little high, but I still loved this dress and fit. I even found the cutest wide band belt that had a sequin bow on it, it looked like it came with it. I got compliments all night on the dress, even from the bride! I think RTR gained a lot more followers that night! I will rent again!

I wore this out to a club for my trip to San Diego. This was a second option dress and unfortunately they only had the size 14 available. The dress was beautiful and the top detail was really cute. I wore a sticky bra with it since I didn't have a regular strapless bra. I believe the 12 would have been a better fit since the bottom puffs out quite a bit and is long.
