This is my second time renting. As other reviewers noted this dress does run a little small in the hips and there's no give to the fabric. Unless you have very slender hips, you should probably size up. I believe this dress has been in rotation for a while, but it's wearing very well. Obviously well-made as the embellishments are still in great condition.

Some Ramy Brook dresses are unflattering for me but this fit perfectly! Easily dress up or down.

Unlike many dresses from this designer, this one actually has a zipper on the hip. So you can't size down and think you are going to fit into it.  It is absolutely true to size.  I loved all the details on the dress. Wore it wine tasting but it's perfect for really anything. Five stars for sure!

I am broad shouldered but flat and narrow through the waist.

I wore this dress for Easter.  It was very comfortable.  Perfect for Florida weather!  I did wear a little bandeau underneath but not completely necessary.  Paired with little slip on heels.  Great for an elevated casual outfit.  

Once I realized that the ruching actually starts before my waste, it fit like a glove. Pull the fabric up to your waste when zipping and then when you release it has a blouses-over effect. Very comfy and cute. 

I liked this Dress in many ways, the color, the detail and the length.

However the way this dress is designed it is way too tight around the hip area. This is obviously where I am bigger in my body but it was almost comical how tight it was.

The fabric and color of this dress is stunning. Rented it for a weekend in Vegas. It was beautiful and sexy, but classy. I rolled it up in my suitcase and pulled it out with no wrinkles. I am about an A cup. I think this dress probably fits best with a smaller chest and straight hips. There is no give in the fabric. I saw a lot of reviews on sizing up but I'm glad that I stuck with the size 0.

Love this one! Lose and flowy up top and definitely fitted at hips. Has zero stretch over hips. The zipper is on the side of the zips and there are snaps-keep this is mind when sizing as I could see wardrobe malfunctions if too small and lots of sitting or dancing. Got this vacation that was canceled from covid but will rent this again when we rebook. 

I loved everything about this dress. Everything. The colors are magnificent and vibrant. The material was soft and cool. The fit was flattering. The dress could be both a casual day dress or a little dressier for evening. Simply put - adored! 

Very flattering dress, perfect for any outdoor event. Pretty enough for a date/ brunch or whenever you know your going to turn up some heat 

Loved the look of this dress but way too small. 

The top part and the length were fine but I didn't even come close to zipping up the side near hips/waist area. 

I'm usually a 6-8 or Medium in dresses. Don't usually have an issue with Ramy Brook items. 

think i go to to many parties but this dress is so CUTE and can't wait to wear it to my 3rd birthday celebration...remember it does have a side zipper so no wiggle room here but it is adorable...i am petite and it fits me perfectly...short and sweet fun dress!

This dress is a must rent! The details on this dress were beautiful! The dress is tight around the hips, so size up if you have hips! The perfect date night dress!!

Very cute dress, great for a summery night out!   Really flattering, light, silky, and flirty.  BF loved it, as did I!  Fits true to size.  

I rented a size up because everyone said it ran small. My dress ended up being too big, but I pinned it in a little. I think everyone was ordering up because it is fitted in the hips. I have narrow hips so I think that's why I didn't need to size up.  It was still supper cute!

The fit of this dress is a little tricky. When you first put it on, before zipping it up, it will sit lower than where it should actually be - with the fitted portion forming more around lower hips/thighs. This would be great except as many have seen, it likely won’t zip if you have any curve. I tried on both the size 4 and size 6 and found that the hip experience to be exactly the same, but the body became too baggy for me once I went a size up. This is when I tried the 4 back on and realized the fitted portion it meant to start just below the natural waist and go to mid-hip, with the skirt flair hitting the lower half of the hips (I noticed this on the model once I knew to look for it). Feels slightly unnatural to have a dress hug only half your thigh, but very cute once you get used to it. 

This looks like it would be drapey and loose with elastic across the waist, but it isn't and its very fitted across the hip and tummy area.  Would need to size up.  Secondary size not available so I got something else.

Pretty embellishments but too loose/ too much material up top for me. This is one of my favorite brands and usually it's a hit. Not this time :(

I couldn't wear the dress b/c the hip section was entirely too small.  couldn't zip it up!
