I chose this dress to wear to a casino-themed charity event and I'm so happy with my choice. The dress is fun, eye-catching and makes a statement, and the fit is very comfortable (I was not bothered by the sequins under the arms). I ordered the 8 and the 10 because I am between sizes at the moment. There is not a huge difference in fit between the two-- I found the 8 to be slightly more snug in the hips and shorter., but that's it. Ultimately, I wore the 10 because it was about an inch longer and the 8 just looked too short on my tall frame. Highly recommend! 

Rented 4&6, could have worn a 2.  A bit loose in the small of my back 

Great dress! I could have worn the 6, but it was a little short and tighter in the chest. I wanted the look of a classic sheath, so wore the 8. Got lots of compliments. Perfect for a cocktail party. 

Two things to note, the dress is short. I'm 5'8". And the sequins scratched my armpits a little.

When I first tried this dress on I was a little concerned. It felt a bit like I was wearing chain mail, however, after a few minutes I forgot all about it and was comfortable the whole night. The 0 I received was slightly snug, but ended up having a stain on the front, so I wore the size 2. Because it was a bit baggier I didn't have any issues with the sequins irritating my underarms (like some other folks noted).

Anyways, I got a ton of compliments, felt super cute, and super comfortable. I didn't want to send it back! Highly recommend.

I had never done a RTR before and I wanted something fun and new for my first bach. We did a murder mystery dinner in the city and the moment I saw this dress I knew it was perfect. I typically wear a 0 but I was doing this very last minute and my size wasn't available.  The 2 became available and  I figured I would make it work. It ended up being perfect!!! I am 5'2 110lbs and a 30DD. I have a butt and thighs so the 2 was perfect and didn't pull uncomfortably. The whole dress is covered in sequins and the quality is beyond. I would wear it again. It was the perfect dress! 

OMG I loved this dress so much.  Wore it to a "couture" themed event and definitely stood out. I got a lot of compliments. I ordered an 8 and a 10 because I tend to carry weight in my mid-section and feared it would be tight in the middle. But the 8 was plenty roomy, because the fit is more a-line than fitted. I didn't even try on the 10. The dress is super comfortable. Fully-lined and the white part is sequined too, so it's not see-through at all. I was able to wear a regular racerback bra. 

Looks amazing, Keep in mind it's a shift dress, so it doesn't hug your curves at all. If you're looking for a tight dress, look elsewhere. This is such a unique and cheeky dress with the wink print. I hated to return this dress! Throw a leather jacket over this to rough up the all sequin look. 

About where did the dress fall (in terms of length)?

The 4 fit me perfect. The dress doesn't have much stretch to it, but is still very comfortable. There is a thick lining and the dress is very well made. A fun stylish number overall!

The dress was really fun and I enjoyed wearing it to my friends rehearsal dinner in New Orleans.  It was not bright white, but looked a bit gray which I'm assuming is just due to wear and tear from previous rentals and dry cleaning.  The size 4 was fine, but more fitted.  I wanted a more shift dress look so I opted to wear the size 6.  Other than the color issue I would say the worst part was the sequins really rubbed my skin under my arms!  I was awkwardly trying to hold my arms up so it didn't rub my skin raw.  Glad I rented and didn't buy.  Really a fun dress!  

Fit was great, not too baggy or too tight as is the case with some shift dresses. You could tell it was a high quality piece. Only con I have about the dress is that by the end of the night my inner arms were pretty scratched up from the sequins, but aside from that no complaints! 

A little short for my taste, but fabulous for a birthday date! I sized up so it would be a bit loose around the hips. The sequins only rubbed a little bit under by arms, but well worth it! 

I found the fit just fine. The dress does have a slight bit of stretch. I didn't have the problem of scratching like some others described. I think it varies depending on where the under arm opening hits you. 

It fit perfectly for me - and I have a small bust (34A) and am a size 4 in normal clothes.  I felt glamorous in the sequence and had many compliments!  I wish I owned it!

The dress was fantastic.  I was worried it would be too short but it was fine.  Some people complained that the sequins rubbed their arms...I was fine, however, some of them did flip up.  The size 2 fit like a charm.

The dress is fabulous! I loved how comfortable it was. The stretch made it easy to move around in and the structure of the sequins made it a lovely fit. Sassy, fun, elegant and perfect for a night on the town! I am between a 6 and an 8 right now and the 8 wasn't available. The 6 fit great and the 10 was too big. 

I rented this dress for a trip to Las Vegas with my best friend to see Celine Dion and it was absolutely perfect.  This is the perfect little shift dress, flattering, not too tight and super comfortable. The sequins lay perfectly to create a beautiful eyelash pattern and feel really great too.  There is a little bid of lining around the sequins in the arm holes and the bottom hem so there is no uncomfortable sequin scratching.  I would totally rent this dress again, another RTR success! 

The way the sequins lay on the dress highlights the quality of the dress. I didn't have any issues under my arms like some of the other reviews.  I didn't think it was too short and it fit true to size. Very comfortable to wear, photographs well, and I received a ton of compliments.

This dress is perfect for feeling like a sexy, chić party goer. I rented this dress for my engagement party and couldn't have been happier. It wasn't heavy on me even though it was complete sequins and it never rubbed under my arms. The 10 was a perfect fit, but I usually wear an 8. It wasn't short in my opinion on my 5'7 frame. For the occasion it was the perfect length. With some stacked heels, it really made me feel confident. It is an absolute show stopper without the feeling of being one big shiny disco ball. I recommend it for any bachelorette party, engagement party, cocktail party, etc...

I was unsure of this dress as shift dresses usually don't flatter my athletic build & wide hips, but this dress fits like a glove and is so unique. It was PERFECT for Vegas and so comfortable to dance in all night! A friend even wore this another night because it is THAT amazing! I got compliments all night and you will too!

I wore this dress for a work awards show and received compliments all night! It was absolutely perfect. Probably my favorite rental so far!

I had strangers coming up to me all night full of complements on this dress.  Just a complete standout and fit comfortably for an outside gala.  Fit true to size and flattered any imperfections.  So happy I rented.  I would rent again.

Dress was well made and fit a little on the loose side. Great sheath dress. The size down was sold old the date I wanted it but the 2 had a great comfortable fit. It is short but overall a great dress. Not recommended for w taller individual.

It fit true to size and I was a little worried it was too short, but went with it!  The sequins didn't irritate my arms at all, which was great.  Loved this dress!  

I rented the 6 with the 2 as the backup. The 6 ended up not being able to be shipped, so RTR sent me another dress another backup-- great customer service. But I was able to squeeze into the 2. It fit great up top, but was a little tight around the hips, but it was fine since I don't normally wear a 2. I'm 5'4 so the dress wasn't too short. I felt sexy and cool. 

I wore this to my bachelorette party. It was so cute, and received a ton of compliments. I usually wore a size 8 which they didn't have. So I tried the size 10. The fit was completely perfect, but I felt comfortable all night.

The dress fit true to size. Not too firm fitting - great shift dress. Sparkles beautifully in the right light or with a camera flash. Tons of compliments.. Of course had to tell everyone about RTR!

The sequins did flip up once in a while, but nothing to major. Its not the most figure flattering but hid trouble areas pretty well... If only I had Michelle Obama arms, this dress would be perfect!

Fits true to size! Easy to move around in! Kind of heavy given all sequin but for the look worth it!

Great fit.  Not too short, not too long (I'm 5'2") and it was great because you can wear a regular bra.  Dress is lined and sequined all over so its not see through at all.  Sophisticated yet fun.  Perfect for the bar mitzvah I went to.

Very cute. Didn't wear because arm holes a but large and probably could have used a size smaller.  The second dress I rented was a better fit. But I would rent again. 

But the sequins are really scratchy, so I would not want to wear this for a long evening.

I'm normally a 2 in most dresses, but I ordered the 4 and the 2 just to be sure. The 2 fit PERFECTLY. The dress was the perfect length, the perfect size, and the quality was absolutely amazing. I received so many compliments in it.

I rented this dress for my 30th birthday party - except Rent the Runway couldn't deliver it for my event. I had tried it on in the store and knew it was exactly what I wanted to wear; unfortunately, I didn't get to. I was heart broken. 

Worn to holiday party. Compliments galore! Fits beautifully. If you have a small, poochy stomach, the black accent of dress hides it well. Fits a little loose so you can move w/o always adjusting. Was a tad short but I didn't mind.
